  • Sick truck man, sounds nice

  • What kinda gas miles with those 37's? and what gears you have? 4.56's?

  • how bad do those 37's rub? haha

  • Hemi's sound great nice engine. real big and mean but it makes it sound to race like. you know? if i didnt know any better i'd say this was a magnaflow muffler. not flowmaster. I'm just gonnna guess it sounds like a race car...hate to say it almost ricer'ish. this sound is because its dumped? must just be the video.

  • I have Dodge with over 600 K they last crazy long

  • Comment removed

  • I have two Power Rams from the 80s @ that mileage, and a couple early 90's rams gas and diesel @ 500k+

  • What I really want Is a 40-70s Power Wagon, I'd take one from now a days too, but those are the best pick-ups ever made hands down.

  • is your gas mileage shitty with it being cut before the rear axel

  • @94217mp its better the shorter it is the less the motor has to push= better gas milage

  • @mythbuster74 ohh ok because i was hearing the opposite so i was just curious

  • are dodge transmissions horrible? i hear they are not reliable at all

  • old ones are like under 1995 they r but now they use the allison transmissions now i belive

  • o really like in the 2001 would they hav the allison tranny cuz inst tht one rlly good?

  • i have a 01 and its a german tranns that resembles the 727 tranns with all the bugs worked out of itt

  • just to correct you on the type of tranns dodge uses i am pretty sure its called aushwin but when pronounced sounds likes allison... its a german based tranns now but up to 03 they still used a certain style that was resembled to the 727 trans 3speed with overdrive

  • i love dodge but their trannys are not the best and their suspensions are a little rough you feel every bump in the road

  • I have an 01' slt 2500 ram and the transmission is flawless.. on the other hand, the 1500 ram at my job has a super fucked up transmission. I've also heard of other people having trouble. I think it has a lot to do with how you drive and whether not you know how to drive in 4WD

  • What kind of lift is that? 2'' leveling kit? What size wheels/tire?

    Beautiful truck!

  • Thats a fabtech 6in lift with helo. Tires are 37 x 12.50 cooper STT

  • Which helo rim?

  • Thanks

Its a 6in suspension lift from Fabtec. Wheels are Helo, im not sure of the model tires are cooper STT 37 X 12.50

  • @hotrod7687 is it a 6in just up front wuts on the back

  • @Newbomb92 i can see how it looks like a 2 inch lift. from the angle the tires look like 33's at best lol cant believe they're beastly 37's though! nice truck man! i'm truely jealous lol!!

  • i think this sounds pretty damn good. nice rumble

  • on my 07 5.7hemi i get about 12mpg average

  • whats the MPG for one of these?

  • you sure thats a one chamber sounds pretty quiet??

  • Yea its a one chamber. Look at my other vid where I had the shop run pipes to the back, that made it wake up.

  • Hey, sweet sounding truck. What flowmaster series 10 did you use?? The

6" case or the 10" one??

    Was it #9430119 or 9430109??

    Please let me know. Thanks!

  • your truck is a beast

  • nice truck, love the tires

  • what kind of flows do you have on that is it like super 40's or what, and is that a 4.7L....thats a nice truck i have a 03 black one

  • Its a 10 series 1 chamber flowmaster. Its flowmasters race series muffler, Summit racing sells them. The engine is the 5.7 hemi.

  • man that sounds sick as fuck it sounds like an old school 350 chev with heat

  • dont insult the guy 350 chevy lol

  • Is there a body lift on top of the 6" susp lift or is it just the 6" susp lift with the 37's? cause i asked 4wheel parts and they i could only run a 35 on there so im tryin to find out.

  • Hey hot rod, awesome truck. I have an 02 Ram and want it to have that lifted up, badass look and sound that you have achieved. What kind of lift is that, fabtech? and what type of rims and tires? about how much?

  • Thanks. Its a fabtech 6in lift with cooper STT 37 X 12.50 tires. I dont know what kind of rims or what it cost for all of it. I bought the truck with the lift and tires already on it. Check out my other vid after I put pipes out the back on it. It sounds even more badass.

  • sweet man, thanks.

  • yeah i just put on 2 10 series flows today and it got rid of the crackle and it sounds deep and still loud at the same time it is badass....im posting a video this weekend sometime

  • damn man, thats a bad ass looking Dodge! Very nice man, how loud is that 1 chamber in town? does it disturb the peace well or is it nice & mellow at low rpm?

  • Thanks! In town its not too loud. As long as I keep the RPM's down it wont annoy anyone too bad. Above 3500 it gets a little on the loud side. Cruising in OD its fairly mellow, quiet enough that I have no problem hearing the radio or my passengers.

  • Im running a true dual with no mufflers right now in my video but i did not get the sound that i wanted but it sounds badass idleing but not when you rev it or take off fast so im prob going to put a set of 10 series flows on it. im hopeing that will get the sound that i want

  • hey man how big of a lift do you have and tire size? is it a 6" suspension with 35" mt's? or 37's

  • Yep, its a fabtech 6" lift with 37 X 12.5 Cooper discoverer STT tires.

  • I just really hate out the back man. Every goober does that who doesn't know what they are doing. Have it either dual side exit before the tire, or one pipe BEFORE each rear tire, or one pipe after each rear tire. But going out the back is lame in my view. The true dual with an x-pipe will sound magnificent. What mufflers are you thinking of running?

  • I'll probably stay with the one chamber flows.

  • It's a nice truck, but I don't care for it. You should finish a system on a truck like that...Have one big tip come behind each rear tire, and then it will be great.

  • I'll be doing that here soon. I want to go true duals with an X-pipe and have the tips exit out the back. I just threw on the flowmaster so i could have some sound before i could save up for the other system.
