@Andrewkira13 If the trailer looks interesting to you, I recommend this. Its pretty fun. you do fight with guns but you can upgrade and customize them. Its pretty similar to crisis core in the gameplay and so far has been very fun.

l just finished this game recently and l have to say... it is fucking terrible. I mean, if you're a fan of PE1 and PE2, then stay the hell away from this game, its story is poorly written and it has nothing to do with Parasite Eve,and its all thanks to that one overused anime plot point called "amnesia".

But most of all just what the hell did they do to Aya Brea's character?? they turned her into a complete weak, objectified, woman stereotype. It is ridiculous.

The title actually references the third appearance of Aya Brea, the main protagonist of the series. So, its not "Parasite Eve 3", but, rather more like a "sidestory".

To be perfectly honest, I though The 3rd Birthday was a pretty good game. I understand many of the criticisms though. If you can look at it without any bias thogh, it can be very fun. Parasite Eve is a very interesting series in general. One that deserves more than just two games. So for that reason alone I am grateful for The 3rd Birthday.

@cheeking91 Actually, no. There's very little connection between this game and the two parasite eve games. The conflict in the two parasite eve games were about mutated mitochondria and a haunting past. This game, however, takes out the haunting past and pits you against true monsters that aren't even mutants, but beings of time and space. The characters alone are the connection, yet even their in-game profiles won't say anything about the events of the two parasite eve games.

@NoveloMaus actually its undecided as to weather the twisted were all once human or not, a scientist in the game even hints at this. they are beings from another time, possibly sometime in humanities distant future, as you play through the game you'll see many instances of humans turning into twisted, weather of their own choice or due to infection. so there could be more of a connection to the other parasite eve games, ill keep playing and see tho.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Inf. for the PSP which sold about 200,000+ units. Seeing as how SE's main demographic is the Eastern market, why wouldn't they release the game on the most popular console there? (which is the PSP btw) Enjoy not getting Valkyria Chronicles III and FF Type-0 too. :)
