  • I have those shoes in pink, like the video, you are awesome.

  • @nikkitheduchess

    Thank you!

  • can i do that to my otter box? it's rubber so i dont know how well it will stick

  • @socouture666

    Hello,

If you do anything on rubber it should not be allowed to flex very much as this will break the bond of any adhesive, also make sure the glue will work on the rubber in a small area before going all out, make sure the rubber is clean and free of any powder or oil.

    Thank You!

  • it says 440 in a packet of the gems??? u said 1440 ??? confused

  • @madheadohi

There are 1440 in a wholesale pack not 440.

    Thank You!

  • what shoe size do you wear?

  • @efadaei

    6 - 6.5

    Thank you!

  • YOUR WORK IS AMAZING!!!

can you please tell me if the shoes became harder with using the glue?

I have a Marc Jacobs banana colour peep toe. I don't like them now and I would like to change them with svarowsky. which colour do you think is ok?

    do you ship in italy?

  • @riplii

Thank You!! They did stiffen a bit but is is not that noticeable. You have to pick the color you like....

We ship all over the world!

    Thank You!

  • Can you use any kind of patent shoes or can you only use high quality shoes? Some people that offer strassing services are very anal about the type and the brand of shoes to strass. I am looking for that perfect shoe to be strassed and since Swarovski crystals are high quality crystals, I want to make sure I don't ruin my shoes.

  • @lmishelle2005

This can be done on most any brand, you want a good brand so they will last! They don't have to be patent leather.....

    Thank You!

  • I -3 it thank you so much! It helped me so much so much!!

  • Thank you I loved it! It helped me so much thank you really!!

  • @MsLupita1984

    Thank You!!

  • I love ur video cuz it's very helpful!

  • @ssjosh2001

    Thank You!

  • If I'm doing this on a seude show, would it be okay to use the 5-600? Or do I have to go with the GemTac?

  • @shabxnam

    Hello,

You can use E6000, it is stronger than Gem-Tac but a little harder to work with, always tray a small area first to be safe.

    Thank You!

  • I WONDER IF I CAN DO THAT TO MY HANDBAG?

  • @trendycreations

Of course you can, just visit our website to get some more info and ideas.

    Thank You

  • how long did it take u to do bot shoes?

  • @cyn88

    About 10-12 hrs all together.

    Thank you!

  • How many rhinestones did you use for one shoe in this video?

  • @lmishelle2005

One shoe got about 1600 rhinestones.

    Thank you!

  • what shoe material is best for doing this? (suede, patent leather, ect.)

  • @MissBabyCakes246

    Most non-porous surfaces will work.

    Thank You!

  • how i can get 10% off i like u video

  • @MrNesto1991

Of course, just email us so we can issue the code to your specific email address.

    Thank You!

  • Im sorry sound is down haha what sizes did u use for the two different rhinestones on your heels??

  • @koleton96

    ss12 & ss16

  • How many gross would it take for a pair of shoes in ss16 and 12?

  • @polishfashionsllc

1 gross each size, plus a few (144) packs.

  • Did you only need the two packs of stones to do one shoe or both??

  • @LisaMoro98

I used the two packs for the pair and a few (144) packs.

  • Do u sell the crystals if so where can I buy them :)

  • @RETROKID2818

    Hello,

We do sell them and the info is in the title of the video at the beginning.

    Thank You!

  • I'm on you site now and I'm going to place a order, can u tell me the best glue to use if I'm trying this on Ugg boots? Ty!

  • @lzdragun

    Hello,

E6000, but try a small area first to make sure they will hold good. The Ugg material may not be the best but it should work.

    Thank You!

  • I love love this so much. thanks for the details.

Would like to know if i still get the 10% discount at this time.

  • @avirline

    Hello,

Just go to our website and click on the contact us page and send us an email, we will then issue a coupon code you can use.

    Thank you!

  • Hi, Thanks for this video...its amazing! I know you said the non hot fix is a quicker process, but the hot fix crystals are a lot cheaper in the uk, would you say there are any negatives to using hot fix crystals pleasE?

    Thanks x

  • @xBlackRussianx

    Hello,

We do not recommend using them but you can certainly try. It just takes much longer and you should try a small area first to make sure the glue will work.

    Thank You!

  • I like your video, very informative. I want to cover a 5 inch heel with s 1 inch platform suede shoe, what size crystal(s) would you suggest I use?

  • @naturner02

    Hello,

There are a lot of variables in choices of size and color, please visit our Facebook page "Crystal Rhinestone Boutique" and click on the FAQ'S. This will help you decide.

    Thank You!

  • Hi, love the shoes!

Do you recommend the hot fix or non hot fix crystals if I wanted to bedazzle my shoes? Cause initially I wanted to use the Kandi Kane.. but I'm new to this, so I'm not so sure which methods would be easier.

  • @peisterz

I recommend the flat backs with glue as it is a faster process and works great! You certainly can try the hot fix stones and Kandi tool if you prefer, just try a small are first tom make sure the hot fix glue is effective on the shoe you would like to cover.

    Thank You!

  • how well does this process work on leather shoes????

  • @Nena1981Linda

    Hello,

It can, just try a small area first to make sure the glue will work!

    Thank You!

  • Hi I loved you video,Im from Brazil could you please send the list with all I need by email, cause I speak portuguese and my listening is not so good.. • @ThePerola2011

    Thank you!!

  • Thanks for all your help in promptly answering our questions and addressing our concerns. We checked out your website - and it's great, as I can't wait to get started on my DIY projects for the wedding. I just have to find the right pair of shoes, but I will definitely be ordering some supplies and get to embellishing them very soon. So, once again, thank you and continued success to you all there at LoveToCrystal! :D

  • @Destined2bJnT

    Thank You!!

  • Would you recommend doing this project on satin dyeable shoes, and of course I'm asking that question as pertains to both dyed and undyed shoes?

  • @Destined2bJnT

    Hello,

I have not done them on satin, but dyed or not I have heard of others having success using this method.

    Thank You!

  • Some people posted videos that mentioned a process of sealing the crystals, to protect them by filling in the gaps once all the crystals are applied to the shoe, as they said you should apply a layer of the E6000 all over the shoe and on top of the crystals. Even though, other viewers commented, saying not to do that because it would haze or deminish the reflective light of the crystals - and defeat the purpose of embellishing your shoes in the first place. So, what do you recommend?

  • @Destined2bJnT

NO, NO, NO, DO NOT DO THIS!!

This will ruin the brilliant display the Swarovski Rhinestones produce.

If you use enough to apply them, then you do not need to encase the crystals in E6000. Just use enough to allow a small amount to ooze out around the sides of the flat back rhinestone with pressure, not too much though,

    Hope this helps,

    Thank You!

  • We're planning our wedding - and it's amazing how hard it is to find good wedding shoes in the off season. But I'm so glad to have found your video and website on this subject, so I can do my shoes up in crystals too. I have lots of questions though, as I've watched other DIY crystal shoe videos; although, none of them nearly as informative or as helpful as yours. So, since I'm about out of characters maybe I will start out slow. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing this video with us! :D

  • @Destined2bJnT

We are so happy you have enjoyed and found our videos helpful,

    Thank You!!

  • @suaad113

    Your Welcome!!

  • can you tell me exactly which ones you used for these shoes? i want to order the same crystals for the ones i make

  • @stealmyheart93

We used vintage rose for these shoes

  • I just bought a couple things off your site, but I did not see how to get 10% off for youtube. My order was not super expensive, but for the future, how do you get the discount?

  • @D01200331

    Hello,

You have to email us to get a code that will only work with your email address web (at) lovetocrystal (dot) com

  • beautiful shoes, I have a pair of gold metallic pumps, what color combo would you recommend to make them "pop'...i've gone on your site to order the kit, but I'm still unsure which colors to use to use. I'm going to do the entire shoe except for the heel, I love the metallic gold on them.

  • @x0djw0

I wish we could pick colors for you, if were wrong you might not like us :) We sell a color chart for this reason, just go to our website it is on the home page lovetocrystal (dot) com

  • how many crystals did you need for both shoes?

  • @allbeauty19

    Hello,

Watch again, it says it in the video :)

  • @lovetocrystal oh ok thanks! i just got confussed because it sounded like you said the two wholesale packs for THE shoe not both.

  • @allbeauty19

    Hello,

it was two wholesale packs and a few 144 packs, if you have a larger shoe or more area to cover it will take more than 2 wholesale packs for a pair of shoes, this is hard to pin point on the amount needed as there are a lot of variables. You can always order one each of the ss16 and ss12 and then get a ss9 wholesale pack to help with the smaller areas and help in coverage.

    Hope this helps...

  • @lovetocrystal did you have any left over? my shoes i have are full backs and they dont have a peep toe so i have a little more area to cover

  • thanks! that was helpful! i'm about to crystalize some heels!

  • @AliciaSikorski

Your welcome! Happy you enjoyed it!!

  • hi. i just wanted to know what size shoe you used for your project?

  • @jaystar986

    6.5

  • You said you get 1440 in each pkg...i am on your website now, i see as 144 pc. do i seriously have to order 10 of them?

  • @theaft3rglow

If you order a wholesale pack you pay for ten packs (1440 all together) all in one at wholesale price. Or you can order 144 packs if you wish to have less rhinestones than the amount in a wholesale pack.

  • Hi how can I get ten percent off?

  • @mickeychanel

email us from the email in the video

  • are you going to make more videos?

  • @jaystar986

Yes, we just added two more and a cell phone video is on the way!

  • awsome chanel!! I subbed reallly like your ideas =) cuuuute heels!

  • @LaLaLavish

    Thanks!!

  • what size are stones???

  • @Desmondmk3

you can find more info on sizes at our website, the address to the website is in the video!

  • can you show how to put crystals all over tan fishnet tights ( like J.Lo's)???? not like the seamed ones they sell...Thanks

  • @groovydakota

I would use E6000 and glue regular flat backs to it, just use a sheet of wax paper between the layers of the stocking so the glue doesn't glue them together. Never tried it but maybe one day we will have a video of it!

  • How did you deal with the e6000 vapors? I made a few thing using e6000 and the smell lingered on the items as well for at least 3-4weeks.

  • can you use transparent flat back uncoated rhinestones or do they have to be foiled?

  • @charberry

You can use the non foil backed ones but there is a limited selection for them.

    Thanks!

  • when you wore the shoes did any of the stones fall off ? and when u put them on the buckle did they come off or was it hard to buckle?

  • @louilover123

    Hello!

E6000 is a very strong, permanent adhesive so none have fallen off so far, with plenty of dancing! And it's been over a year! The shoes were set to my size, so I didn't have to worry about the buckle.

    Thank you!

  • That is so pretty and creative. You really must have alot of time and patience. I can't wait to start my project. Thank you.

  • @mailikesnicethings

It's really not that involved and it's a great crafting project!

  • did you use 2 packs of crystals for each shoe?

  • @ariel015

Used just over 2 packs for both shoes

  • nice hands...

  • @TheQuickLearner

    Thanks!!

  • how long did it take you to finish both heels.

  • @loveyah1234

I think it was around 6-8 hrs all together over a couple of sittings.

  • how many crystals did you use on these shoes altogther? x

  • @annaleigh8910

    Over 2,880

  • I used swarovski crystal flat backs on sandals using the Gem Tac glue. They ended up moving around and didnt stay in place and they stayed sticky. I let them sit for about a week before I wore them. Does the the E6000 work better? I'm making these shoes for my wedding, I don't want them to mess up! Thank you

  • you should totally do special orders and sell shoes that you've done! I don't have the time or the patience for this, but I would totally buy a pair from you if i could!

  • great video.

  • i need help what size stones did you use and do you have a face book

  • @Tatjana786

    Hello,

search "crystal rhinestone boutique" on facebook you will find us! I used ss12 and ss16 stones.

  • @Tatjana786 she used ss12 and ss16 vintage rose size rhinestone . :-)

  • Hi, quick question....Is this the best method to use if I want to attach the crystals to my earrings which are sterling silver and some cheap metal ?

  • @Teuilafy

    E6000 and a pick tool!

  • hi! can i use hot fix rhinestones on (for example) hair brushes aswell? do i need glue then?

    THX!

  • @Princess87Yuna

    Glue them!

  • So how did you put the glue in the syringe? I just purchased two from you and I'm stumped lol

  • @MissPrissJewels

We are gonna have to make a video for this, we get a lot of questions on how to do that....

  • @lovetocrystal Please! because I've ordered like two orders of several syringes and when the air gets trapped it creates a little air bubble. I mean there are obviously only two ways to get the glue in... either through the needle or through the top right? But I was wondering if there was a little trick to it or something.

  • @MissPrissJewels

Video on the way!! I think this will help a lot of people....coming soon!

  • Can you used hot fix rhinestones w/ e6000?

  • @Goddess222

    Hello,

Yes you can, if you have extra hot fix stones, then you can use a permanent adhesive to apply them to other surfaces,

    Thank You!

  • @Goddess222

No, just glue them with E6000

    Thank You!

  • @Goddess222

    Yes!

  • How many crystals did you use per shoe?

  • @nostalgiajones

    Hello,

Just over 1440 per shoe, 1 wholesale pack each!

    Thank You!

  • Comment removed

  • @JakeSlick

    Hello,

I would recommend the hot fix variety for fabric applications, the glue is designed to last on fabrics, and I find that they hold up great in the wash as long as you get good adhesion. You can use E6000 on clothing as well.

    Thank You!!

  • Those r sweet can I make me some Lol there to die for

  • @luvwalter3

Yah just visit our website and get what you need!!'

  • love it....!!! thanks for the swasome tutorial

Sorry, just the supplies....visit our website for everything you need, its fun and easy!!

  • Great video! I want to add rhinestones to the handles of a set of 32 makeup brushes (varying sizes of brushes) by Inglot. How many/what sizes rhinestones would you recommended for a project like this? I was thinking about getting one wholesale package each of the SS5 and SS7. Do you think that should do it? Also, what kind of glue and syringe would be the best for this kind of project? Thanks in advance for your help!

  • how do you get rid of the e6000 glue smell

  • @gabrown31

It will go away as it sets

  • do you have to buy the crystals from you??

  • @xsceneBarBi3

    Of Course!! :>)

  • Your good!! Wow, that looks amazing, you must have alot of patience :P

  • @xkidd092

Yah, it does take some time, but totally worth it in the end!

  • That came out so beautiful, I love it.

  • I am planning to cover a purse in crystals. Your video was helpful and to the point. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Pebanks2

    Thanks!!

  • This was one AWESOME tutorial...!!

  • @KadieKade90

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

I was wondering how many rhinestones I would need for a pair of heels cause on the web site I only saw packs of 72 or 144 pieces..? Thank You

  • @bostonfellla

    Hello,

We have wholesale packs available at our website, near the bottom of the category section on the left side bar. I used 2 wholesale packs 1 each of the Vintage Rose ss12 and ss16 and I had to use a few 144 packs of Vintage Rose as well (1 each ss12 and ss16).

    I hope this helps!

  • Beautiful shoes!! Why do you use two different sizes? Can you just use one size?

  • @dcndiamonds

    Hello,

You can use whatever size you like, I used two sizes to help fill in the gaps better, I wanted to cover them completely.

    Thank You!

  • if i would want to just put them on the heel what number and about how many you think i would need

  • @zombiesbride

    Hello,

I would use ss12 or ss16 or mix them. It is hard to guess how many to use, I would start with at least 4 gross (576 rhinestones) and see how far that gets you.

I hope this helps, feel free to contact us any time!

  • @1mrsbates

    Hello,

    Thank You!

I would highly recommend Flat Back Non-Hot Fix, they will be easier to apply and you could melt some of the material on the shoe if you are not careful, but mainly because you will have a hard time getting the hot fix rhinestones close together with a hot fix applicator. I hope this helps....

    Feel free to contact us

  • how long to it take too make ?and how many rhinestones you used all together?

  • @holmest30

About 6-8 hrs all together and I used just over 2880 Swarovski Rhinestones.
