Can I kick it ? Damn Strait. Man what a cool video I was wondering though, Any crazy kids ever try skate boarding down that road ?

There are a couple of places on the island you can skate but the road itself is ridged concrete (for grip as tarmac wound be deadly after a shower of rain) You could try skating it, you'd shake yourself to pieces, if you survive all that shaking you could end up going over a wall into a ravine, medivacs are very expensive here :9)

But as they say everything's possible and skateboarding proves that sometimes.

This one guy decided that the island needed a road, and did a correspondence course in road engineering. I'd give him an A+.

I've been there 4 times. The first time was in 1990 when I took the opportunity to fetch an easy Saba drivers licence. Until 1993 any Dutch citizen could change the Saba licence for a precious Dutch European back home without any conditions. Nice place, nice excursion for people who visit nearby St. Maarten. The view from the Scenery Mountain is breathtaking!
