I guess America just didn't see things your way when electing their represented officials. So this everyone in America you keep referring to are obviously in the minority in some respects. A majority wanted a Republican check against Obama's mandate and frankly Obama didn't have a clear mandate and tried to turn it into one party rule vs. reaching across both sides of the aisle.
@Tnoy34rt it just seems to me we have a govt in debt that will try and cook up new tax schemes to get more of its money back. Truth is for some of us, we be roughly a $4000-$5000 tax/benefit burden a year when it is all said and done. Money better spent towards other things and money better saved since Social Security seems like such a bad investment (forced at that). Same goes for Medicare which we pay into but don't have access to.

@Tnoy34rt you are now subjected to 100% criticism for any and all statements you made leading up to the election. I guess America just didn't see things your way when electing their represented officials. So this everyone in America you keep referring to are obviously in the minority in some respects. A majority wanted a Republican check against Obama's mandate and frankly Obama didn't have a clear mandate and tried to turn it into one party rule vs. reaching across both sides of the aisle.

@Tnoy34rt it just seems to me we have a govt in debt that will try and cook up new tax schemes to get more of its money back. Truth is for some of us, we be roughly a $4000-$5000 tax/benefit burden a year when it is all said and done. Money better spent towards other things and money better saved since Social Security seems like such a bad investment (forced at that). Same goes for Medicare which we pay into but don't have access to.

@Tnoy34rt c'mon Tnoy34rt, Obama as with any other prez abused his privilege in misusing public funds and traveling across the country to promote his agenda and try and get more power in Congress for the Democrats. It fell on deaf ears from many people that didn't like where his agenda was going so they voted against the alleged change. What it goes back to is this: Is the government fiscally responsible, because at this time it is not.

@Tnoy34rt Obama has not come clean with anyone and nothing has really made the headlines in terms of any real reform of the system. High medical costs, high college tuition rates. The govt does things its own way and suffers the consequences for years of bad policy however and govts deserve to be cut without asking the taxpayer for more money. If they constantly mismanage their finances, they are not entitled to more from the taxpayer. That goes for fed,state,local.

The election is over, the people have spoken, Obama now really has to show some leadership and compromise with both parties to get anything done otherwise. Obama doesn't have a clear mandate.

@tnoyy34rt I'll repeat it again in response to your recent comment on my page which I deleted since you don't allow comments from others to appear on your site. Obama HAS NOT done well. If that were the case, both chambers of Congress would've stayed Democrat. And once the new Congress takes over in January, then Obama will either work with the new Congress or become a lame duck so if he is as good as you claim he is, then now is the time to show some real leadership and stop campaigning.

@Tnoy34rt your reasoning and logic are no longer working here. You are failing to explain why Democrats lost and as stated before, if Obama was doing so well, he would've been able to keep his agenda together and earn a clear mandate in the Congress. Obviously that didn't happen. So that is negative, Obama hasn't done well at all and the public has spoken out against the agenda via the voting process.

The point I try to make here is that you are not a person that reports the facts. That job is reserved for a person having majored/minored in journalism . Also a person reporting the facts is suppose to not be biased. Clearly you have shown your biases over time online vs. reporting in on the facts.

@Tnoy34rt life would've been great if I felt I was making a good wage as a trucker but that wasn't the case. The reality is had I chosen to maintain an apt during that time that I would be broke due to real wage instability. What I'm doing now just pays the bills and affords me the online privilege for cheap. If the taxes I'm paying into govt are being wasted, then perhaps govt should take a pay cut and live within their means before asking people for more $.

@Tnoy34rt assuming you are still alive, I think what you tend to miss is Obama's failed attempt to reform healthcare and make the system more efficient. There was ample time to study effective models of other countires (France being one of them) and present a comprehensive reform system that actually treats everyone regardless of income level. Instead Obama tries to sell the ins. angle. Congress and Obama failed.

I don't rank Obama as high as you do but sounds like lawmakers play the game and manipulate the system for their own interests and not for the common good of the people.
