the fact that they are butchering the italian makes this a poor performance. They could be recording professionals, but because they are not singing the language correctly it ruins the whole thing. I don't think there voices are horrible, they obviously have some musical training.

They are brasilinas. Rinaldo was a very poor guy. His first presentations was in a TV Show for "amateur" singers. When he arrived at the stage no one would believe his talent. After that they told the public he got no money to go to the show, so he decided go walking for 15KM. At that time he did not have chance to eat anything so far.
I am so proud of him, he is absolutlly a winner and for me does not matter his italian, pronunciacion or things like that.
Well, in the middle of the song Rinaldo Viana is obviously one beat ahead of the orchestra and the conductor is lost. Who is it, by the way? His moves does not look very experienced.
Could an Italiano, someone who actually lives in Italy and speaks Italiano fluently, please tell us how their pronunciation is because it sounds a bit off to me. I don't speak Italian, only understand a little bit as well as Portuguese. The last note was way off for both singers- that I do know without question. Nice though, nice presentation, though I prefer the orchestra not play it so much as a march.
