I wouldn't be surprised if it was canceled for Germany... But... Game still looks awesome. Saw the developer interview on GS.. They really needed to pick someone who know what a space marine is to talk to GS. Because he basically described a power armored ork. Saw another dev interview, different guy, on youtube... He was much more educated on zee muhreens.

Well, From my Experiance of Space Marines vs Chaos Space Marines, in the DoW series 1 SM squad can anniahlate 2-3 CSM squads with ease and move on.

Which is wrong. A typical Chaos Marine and a typical loyal Space Marine are fairly even in abilities. Chaos Marines may have more combat experience, but the loyalist Marines likely have better equipment and resources.

How is it wrong? One Space Marine squad has thousands more Hp than chaos marines, but chaos marines has slightly better range and melee dmg. Even in the Warhammer books it shows loyalist marines besting chaos marines in face to face combat and not trickery and back stabing they always try to pull on loyalist marines. Not to mention when a Chaos marine dies, they lose their soul, but when a Loyalist marine dies they go to the Emperors side.

@akumakorgar DoW is in the 40k story, The story of the Blood Ravens, also ive found out that the Blood Ravens may have been founded during, a little befor or after the Horus Heresy's End. Considering the fact that the Blood Ravens have artifacts in their chapter that date back to the Great Crusade and the Heresy. May not be true but in DoW2 and some books it mentions have Terminator Armor and other things from that time.

Dawn of War is canon but that doesn't mean the game's mechanics work the same. And yes, there's suggestions that the Blood Ravens were made from salvaged Thousand Sons gene seed after that Legion was lost to the Imperium, which if true, would be one of the great secrets of the 40k universe.

@akumakorgar Their Gene-seed is from Magnus, hence being the chapter with the highest psyker count. But it is possible that the Blood Ravens were founded during or after the Great Crusade. Maybe even participating in the Horus Heresy.

There were no foundings of Chapters until after the Horus Heresy. But I always liked the idea that one of the last things the Emperor decreed was that the geneseed of Magnus be salvaged.
