Does the Cintiq have to be plugged into the wall? Or does it only plug into my laptop? I'm planning on buying a Macbook Pro to use with this. I just want to know if it'll be portable enough to carry the laptop to another location and use this without having to plug it into a wall. I was just wondering. Thanks:)

can yu carry wacom 12wx with you aroung without connecting it to anything ummm and do u know which drawing tablet can be carried around with you if wacom cintiq cant

@Nomisko123 Sorry if you've already been answered on this, you're comment IS 4 months old. And no, with the Cintiq you have to attatch it to a computer to use it. And pretty much no tablets can be used without one, I do think some types of LAPTOPS or COMPUTERS have built in drawing applications with touch screens though. But not a tablet. LONG REPLY PHEW.

hello every one

I really found the plug in of VGA port difficult as you have to turn off you laptop (or pc)every time and turn it on again. So I came out with one solution, I just pluged the usb port into the device (No VGA pluged in) and turn the Cintique on. It worked like Intous 3 model, However I have a question, do you think it's gonna harm the device for doing so? Please give any suggestion you might have.
