Well, I've found an ever-so-slightly different version of this track floating around. I wonder where it's from - probably that Power of Metal compilation.
Where do you find the alternate version of Parellel Minds? The alternate version has this song, Roll the Fire has different vocal sessions and Silent Crying is slightly longer, according to Metal Archives. Is it the Japenese version or something else?
@Worldofmetal Hello there. The answer to your initial question is I downloaded the rare songs you mentioned from some old P2P network (Audiogalaxy I think) somewhere around 2003. I don't have this bonus track here in CD, because I only own all the European CDs of 4 Conception albums, not the japanese.
I have all the songs you mentioned as well. I have not yet made vids for all of them In fact, I like the Silent Crying long version more than the original. It's about 7 minutes. Cheers.
Their 'sin' to the metal masses of 1993 was that they introduced flamenco sounds as in 2' 12''. Fortunately Ark came some years later to deploy all Tore's guitar skills.
I've always loved the Flamenco influences in Ostby's playing. He's a brilliant guitarist - his leads are so distinctive and creative, he doesn't simply rely on blazing shreds.
@TheMentalTyrant Well, there are plenty of old-school metal guys that don't like their Metal mixed with other genres of music because it loses its "Tr00' or 'Cvlt' status . (except maybe some classical, check Manowar) You know, the same old school 'dinosaur' guys that disdain and scorned Iron Maiden back in 1986 for their extensive Keyboard using in 'Somewhere in Time' or 'Seventh Son of a Seventh son' or refrained and holded back from listening to progressive metal for the same reasons.
Conception used to be a terrific band, I hope they will someday come back to music scene, By the way, Tore Ostby rulesss!!!...

Could you put the bonus tracks on mediafire or something? They're nearly impossible to find, I only have Gravity.

Who, in the name of God, would call that beauty a sin?
