One of the reasons leading to vocal breaks is when transitioning from modal voice to falsetto, cause both dont connect each other. but jessica didnt actually break her vocal at 3:16, more like she couldnt hold her falsetto after modal voice, technically it happens to every singer. its actually not bad considered she was just 18 in this video, she had good control of voice, her every breath was taken correctly.

I feel jessica rocks!!! her voice is brilliant she is able to control her voice well and sounds wonderful, even though she's a little shaky at the end but she still managed to come back well and strong again. Love ya jessica^^ (ps. i think tiffany's voice is a little shaky and not very clear, but still a job well done)

I'm betting my money Jessica's having the 'teen hormonal changes' in her body at this time. Which means EVERYTHING in her, including her voice, undergo pretty significant changes.

One thing I don't understand is how SNSD sucks. They hold a lot of talent inside for your information. This performance might not have been their best, but you can tell they were trying. but i just dont like how when they sing, theres no emotion. like i just hear good vocals, but i dont feel any real emotion that goes with the lyrics. i rly like this song cos of the lyrics, but theres so sadness that brings the lyrics into life. i just wish they would stop focusing so much on hitting the notes, since they're great singers already. its ok to make miskakes. they just have to relax and feel the lyrics & the melody, & give it all ^^
