OMG, I cound not agree more. I was sooooo lucky to have been born in 1974 so that I could experience all the 80s music. I don't even bother with the great majority of today's crap. I've given up. It will NEVER be like these classics. Never. Just today, I was listening to the 80s song "Our House," and I could not believe how awesome the music was (now I understand why I loved it so much back then). In the 80s, we just had no idea of how BAD the music would be just a decade or so later. Sad.

Wow, heard it this morning on coasttooastam. Overshadawoed by his album the next year. Kind of like Toto's "Hold the Line" and the "99". The similarity is that the second hit for both of these bands doesn't sound much like the syle of the first one.
