People are confusing fluoride with sodium fluoride, sodium fluoride is a CHEMICAL COMPOUND, while fluoride is an ELEMENT. The stuff in your toothpaste is CALCIUM FLUORIDE, another compound. Chemical compounds have properties entirely different from the elements that compose them. Fluoride as an element is just a gas that can kill you the same way helium can. Why can't people get that right?
