  • I found the Entwives!

  • my sister is 21 and she's still afraid of grandmother willow...LOL

  • @bakguteh That's understandable. Grandmother Willow is a freaky bitch.

  • I love becoming less educated about my own history. Thanks Disney for the whitewashed crap history you showed me as a child!

  • Radcliffe: Just waiting for me!

*Willy Wonka face* You must be new here.

  • Whenever I watched this movie when I was younger I was sooo confused because I thought the Native Americans were speaking English the whole time. Now that I'm older I actually get it....thanks Disney for confusing me ಠ_ಠ

  • Even though this movie has a large number of faults it sure is beautiful.

  • Grandmother Willow reminds me of my great aunt...

  • When I was little that talking tree scared me to death.

  • @1PigfartsHereICome Grandmother Willow was my imaginary friend. unfortunately she got hit by a train and died.

  • Why does the mom almost always dies in disney princess or in disney movies period theres like ten movies where the mom doesn't die

  • what is my path? how am i ever going to find it? <3

  • Why do they make the bad guys really ugly

  • @ajc041 so no one will like them or root for them

  • @ajc041 They make them ugly because if you saw a hot villan wouldn't you agree with them? Disney makes them ugly for you to side with the good guys.:)

  • This scene always gives me chills.

  • if the wind told me stuff, I'd have graduated early and had a boyfriend by now >3>

  • Fuck ur new Radcliffe!!! We native Americans were here 1st lol jk

  • @Pferdrosagelb Chill out, bro. It was just an observation.

  • Last 5 seconds of this video was very disrupting.I mean-very,very annoing!

  • anyone else notice Pocahontas' derp face at 0:57?

  • Thumbs up if your watching all the Pocahontas songs in order:)

  • I want to live a life like Pocahontas so badly. She has freakn animal friends and a cool village has a fuckn high tree to talk to and she meets a fuckn sexy guy. But I hate Pocahontas II

Hmmm Disney channel is fuck up bullshit. I'm 14 and I have all the W Disney movies and trust me, If they show those again Disney wouldn't lose bussiness as much.

  • @skelanmals1 I don't agree with your language. (:| but I do agree with your point. Disney Channel is not on the same level as these classics. I was appalled when I learned my younger family members had never seen movies like Pocahontas, or the Lion King. I took them out to see the Lion King in 3D, and they truly enjoyed it. The 12 year old completely immersed. With Beauty and the Beast soon in theaters maybe more people will see the beauty in these movies.

  • It is about our internal guide - conscience or reason.

  • Quality tune :D

  • I tried to listen with my heart when i did my math... Unfortunately when i checked the answers I was wrong...

  • veesum katruku poovai theriyathu...peesum kannuku ennai puriyatha....

  • Am I the only one who likes new Disney just as much as old Disney? Is having an open mind really so bad? ):

  • this movie lieess, trees don't talk to you >.> and you can't hear the wind >.>...i may not be pochontas but i am a native...and...they don't see the colours of the wind either >.> though this movie does have some truth to it thankfully

  • the tree is talking, I just realized that.

  • I'm 15 and grew up on Disney movies like these, I dislike the Disney channel shows I see my little sister watching they have no morals or anything. That's why I am saving all of these classics for my children. They will grow up with the right knowledge. Times are only gonna get worse, meaning Disney channel will probably saying cuss words next.

  • I love you Nana ='(

  • i still have a plethera of disney classics on VHS.. when i have children, they will be watching these.

  • this still gives me chills

  • This is s cute xxx love this bit

  • i wish i had my own grandmother willow.. XD

  • I remember cheering on simba when he fought scar.

I remember booing at Ursela when she took Arieal's voice.

I remember fighting the Huns with Mulan.

I remember the wind through my hair, running by Pocahontas.

I remember being locked in the Beast's castle.

I remember laughing and having fun with Mickey and his friends.

I don't remember watching teen drama on stupid disney channel

Copy and paste this to all your favorite Disney Videos and let's start a revolution.

    W. Disney forever.

  • I'm becuase of my mother a bit Apachee indian. :D I wish I had their skin color but since I'm half my father I'm olive.. ah well. <3 the movies.

  • This is what I call disney ! :)

  • I'll just save my tape recorder...

And when I'm an adult with childeren, I will make them watch every classic disney movie I can find at my home!!! They will have an awesome childhood ^w^

  • I saw the tree talking and thought I was trippin'...AND I DON'T DO DRUGS. XD

  • For some readon whenever i watch pocahantas i want to cry. Im cherokee blackfoot and ojibwe (i think its ojibwe) and im guessing tht might be why, but im not sure xD

  • everyone tells me these disney films teach bad things but its untrue. I feel like I am a better person from Disney. Pocahontas taught me to listen to my heart and her second film taught me to make my own path. Belle saw past ugly and fell in love. Simba taught us we can't run away from our past. And all of them showed me it is okay to be an outcast cuz if you look, every character is from Quasmodo to Ariel.

  • The double rainbow man .."WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!"

  • Listening to your heart isnt always gonna help you, it may be the worst choice!

  • funny how this oart relates to now in days issue, i am native American as well

  • @viciouslyxdelicious me too! i'm cherokee indian

  • This morning I was sitting on the back porch feeling the wind on my skin and thinking how the wind has a special meaning if you stop and listen to it. The way it can make you feel and how it can guide you. Then I slept for another hour and had a dream I was trying to find the movie Pocahontas so I could watch it, woke up and stumbled across this song. I completely forgot about this part until now. Weird. :) But inspiring.

  • I'm certainly not a Disney hater, but holy crap, Pocahontas' figure is worse than a Barbie doll's at 0:31.

  • Everybody needs a bit of Pocahontas in them I think.

  • Pocahontas taught me to see past skin and differences, Simba taught me that you should learn from your past, not run from it, and of course the circle of life, Belle taught me that its ok to be different, Mulan taught me the definition of honor, Jasmine taught me that sometimes in life you have to make things happen, and voice your opinion, and Woody taught me the definition of friendship: loyalty and fun times.

I really do worry about kids these days without the Classics

  • the most powerful movie disney has and will ever create.

  • Quey Quey Noatura

  • Disney Channel is doing something to make sure that kids these days know about the classic movies; a few days ago, they aired the Aristocats on the Disney Junior block. I recorded it because I want to show it to my youngest siblings. And if Disney keeps showing those movies even if it's in a preschool block, then it is the best way for new and old fans alike to enjoy them.

  • Im listening to my heart... and its telling me this is just such a beautiful song!! grandmother willow is just the best! :D xxx

  • wow as I was watching this, the ad to subscribe economist magazine came up. how ironic haha

  • I don't know which path I'm taking into my future right now. I'm stressed out and worried about colleges. I watched this movie as a child. I'm amazed I can still learn lessons from it.

  • this is my top #1 favorite song from this movie ever since and always will be. such a great way to meditate. -o-

  • Do you remember wanting to run through the plains of Africa with Simba? Swing through the jungle with Tarzan? Go to the enchanted castle with Belle? Go to the ball with Cinderella? Ride a magic carpet with Aladdin? Save China with Mulan?Shrink to toy size to play with Buzz and Woody? Turn into mer-people and go under the sea with Ariel?

If you do or want Disney to bring back movies like this re-post this comment maybe the Disney Corporation will see it and get their heads on straight

  • @Maklopdsreturned funny... people are saying the same thing about cartoon network and nickalodeian... WTF IS HAPPENING TO T.V THESE NOW-A-DAYZ!!!! its freaking me out that kids have to grow up and learn lessons from.... Adventure Time and The Regular Show... Holy Jesus im scared as to whats to come in the future

  • Is grandmother willow CGI or handrawn?

  • @rgur90x Probably a mixture of both

  • i still have this movie it brings back memories and i still remember most of the words

  • Mulan is the best. But this comes close.

  • When i was a little girl, i used to love coming home from school and raid my video cabinet for Pocahontas and stuff it into the vcr and watch the movie over and over again because i loved it so much. And now i'm 18 years old and haven't gotten over how much of an impact this movie had on me. It has this powerful message that we should all respect one another and not kill anyone or anything! Pocahontas was and still is a beautiful person and how much we all love the old Disney! Hate the new one!

  • Bolt, Meet The Robinsons, UP, Toy Story 3, WALL-E.

Cute, but in comparison with movies like this...well, it's not much of a comparison actually. It's kind of like putting a pinch pot from a third grader's ceramics class up against a masterpiece by Raphael, or Da Vinci.

  • i wish the wind would tell me stuff.

  • @kurtandblaine4ever smoke some weed&it will;)....

  • @kurtandblaine4ever its cause you arent listening with your heaaart lol

  • DISNEY DON'T LEAVE US!!!! what will happen to our children if they don't get the chance to grow up with your music, your morals your imagination your lessons your love your beauty? you would leave our children to the mindless garbage of today?

  • The movie Avatar has pretty much the same story line as Pocahontas.

  • @katywonderkills And Pocahontas has the same story line as Dances With Wolves.

  • @katywonderkills so.. im so sorry. but avatar is a masterpiece. deserved all the nominations and prizes. avatar is a perfect written story. if only people would know the rules of story telling. the archtypes of dramaturgy. the suspense curve of aristotles etc. you know nothing about it. and you know what? everything exists already. its just about HOW it happens. i watch 5 minutes of a movie and i know how the story will end. i can tell you the climax and so on. so stop that shit

  • @katywonderkills except re-enacted by over grown smurfs.

  • @katywonderkills Avatar is the same story line as Pocahontas, but Pocahontas is better.

  • @katywonderkills i was just about to say what.

  • I used to have the VID

  • We all want the old Disney back ever since the person disney died it all turned bad it's now just teens falling in love with no lesson. I JUST LOVE THE OLD DISNEY CLASSICS LIKE THIS VIDIO

  • aaahhh.. and the clouds bring doom. :(

  • Spiritual video.

  • Listen with your heart! Even though its indian (native american) religion its still sending a gr8 message!

  • @morgiedo I agree with you too. All of these movies you mentioned are wonderful and have a strong message, each one of them. When we were kids, we understood the story and liked the animation. When you play them at this age, you get to know many things... Pocahontas is absolutely my favourite! WE NEED DISNEY TO BRING THIS BACK, BECAUSE NEW GENERATIONS DONT KNOW A THING ABOUT LIFE AND VALUES OF LIFE !!

  • @crazycomic We can change that by making our children watch these movies though.

  • The 'wind' (the swirling leaves, etc) looks the same as in The Lion King, when Simba lays on that hill and the 'dust' floats to Rafiki. I hope that was understandable o-o

  • her freakin` grandma is a tree

  • it's not that Disney has gone really bad nowadays..they just have more competition... but every Disney used to have a good and a bad guy and teach you "only the good will find a good ending" - every story had its moral aspects.

Have they run out of ideas?

  • @chelsirosello

Ya! cartoon network has boomerang... (yes that is a channel I watch it all the time they play scooby doo alot!) So disney should make their own I'm sure they would make tons of money that way! and everyone would be happy!

  • @kala765321 they did it was toon disney then they decided to turn it into disney DX some stupid bullshit

  • Aw. How I miss 90's Disney movies. They all suck now and the only talented ans successful movies come from Pixar.

  • Walt Disney take note please.. the original movies such as this one and many others made childhood seem so magical and enchanting.. where we actually looked forward to growing up hoping one day we would be exactly like these beautiful princesses. Im 22 now and i dearly miss that feeling.. please bring them back.

  • pocahontas was the first disneys movies to actually have a tragic ending

    real fact

  • disney nowadays isn't like what I watched when I was a lil kid.

Now its all about bitchy teenagers O_______O

It's devastating. I want my OLD DISNEY BACK. And anyone noticed tht Playhouse disney isn't as popular as before ? Like NO MORE JOJO CIRCUS, CLIFORD THE BIG RED DOG, MADELINE, and more...... DISNEY HAS CHANGED SO MUCH, I just wanna make one simple request : Please get the old disney back.

    -end-

  • @chelsirosello i noe i loved jojo's circus , higglytown heroes , shannon's show . i want it back to . maybe we should petiton to bring back old disney or make a channel that plays the classic disney ( like boomerang plays the old cartoon network shows ) but i dnt think clifford and madeline were disney

  • @chelsirosello although i agree with u that's more of a premium thing to see the classics like Clifford the big red dog (one of my favorite books) and the others that i missed from my childhood but they still show them on Disney XD and such Pohcahantas was on on Sunday i believe it was on that channel

  • @chelsirosello Yeah! or at least have a channel where we get to watch the old shows like how nick has a 90's channel!

  • I wish disney would at least make a tv channel or a youtube channel that showed all the old movies and shows like this. This new disney is all about high school relationships that don't make any sense.

  • If I was being sung to by a tree.I would run screaming in terror

  • I remember being a kid trying to find a tree that resembled Grandmother Willow. Came close.

I really do worry about kids these days without the Classics..

  • .... damnit why does her voice seem so oddly pitched?

  • poor little hummingbird

  • @chenhuman89

    Good to know.

Now my favorite DRUG, is aspirin!

  • This song is so touching and true...It gives me chills everytime i listen to it.

  • Willows have always been, and always will be my favorite kind of tree.

  • @BOOKBUGMILLY Willow makes salicylic acid, the precursor of aspirin.

  • I miss these powerful movies, they taught us true things to learn. I miss the 90's.

  • Why does this part make me cry?

  • When I was little Mother Willow scared me to death xD I don't know why she just scared me lol!

  • Comment removed

  • @HarvestStation You weren't the only one, she scared me too xD

  • Belle taught me to read, and be kind. Pocahontas taught me to see past skin, and differences. Ariel taught me to chase my dreams to the very end. Jasmine taught me to marvel at my self worth, and remember it throughout my life. Mulan taught me the meaning and value of honor. Hercules taught me to be a hero, in my own way. And Simba taught me that death isn't as terrifying as you may guess, and we're never alone.

I worry for the generation that grows up devoid of these movies.

  • @alfanringofire001 Amen to that!

  • @alfanringofire001 ...

That is how i feel...Even though i am very emotional when it comes to watching movies. But that is how i learn from it a movie as at least a LESSON from it. And i am grateful for that.

  • @alfanringofire001

Snow White taught me not to trust old people giving out treats.

  • @alfanringofire001 Esmeralda taught me to fight for what I believe in no matter what. Wendy taught me the worth of growing up. Peter Pan taught me never to forget my inner child. Grandmother Willow taught me to listen to my heart and soul. Roger taught me to make up funny songs about the villians in my life.

  • i would defiantly want my daughters room to be disney princess themed and to grow up with good morals like them!

  • For me, the original disney films like this are the real disney films. The stories have true meanings behind them. All the new films made by disney are just created for entertainment or comedy or whatever.

  • Hey pillgrim! Happy thanks giving pilgrims!

  • that tree, is what i used to look for when i went for a walk in the woods, i used to run through the woods like she did, and sing to the trees, :p

  • )0( i love this song! i wish i knew how to listen with my heart though.....

  • it's pathetic that i keep replaying this. i wish the song was longer.

  • I do!!

  • Who else thinks that Pocahontas is one of the most powerful disney movies ever?

  • @pokoqoqo I agree

  • @pokoqoqo

It's one of the most powerful movies created. Period.

  • @pokoqoqo: It really is, not just the most powerful Disney movies ever but one of the most telling and best composed Animated movie still to this day. I think it is the best music Disney has ever made, right beside The Princess and the Frog.

  • @pokoqoqo i do

  • @pokoqoqo it's like the most realistic ^.^ I love it!

  • I'm 20 and grew up with these movies, I still love them as much as I did as a Kid

  • 14 people didn't listen with their heart.....

  • these are the films kids should be watching these days, not the shit they do. and to be honest, the music in these films are better than any music made by anyone else.. ever. disney films will live on forever.

  • @rheiasmith

u wanna know wat kids should watch?

    FAMILY GUY!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think tangled is the closest thing we have to original disney these days

  • screw Hannah Montana and High School Musical...give me the classics!!

  • favorite disney princess <3

  • So... Pocahontas discovered Peyote. :o

  • 0:45 poor flick

  • anyone else feel like they were stoned when the tree started talking?

  • I watched this movie a lot when I was little. Even after not watching it for 10 or so years, I still remember the words to Grandmother Willow's song. :D

  • I love This Song!!

  • List-en withyourheart! You will understanddd!

  • The leafs in this clip are so beautiful! The whole scene is just breathe taking. Hahahaha then at the end the one selfish guy killed the moment. :P

  • @music22lover1: well actually toy story is not part of that old disney era. Just saying

  • ahh this video makes me feel connected :D

  • i took all this to heart when i was a kid, but now unfortunatly when they say listen to your heart, i dont understand anymore D: still an awsome song !

  • To all of you Disney Channel fantards, THIS is REAL DISNEY & GOOD DISNEY MUSIC! All of this Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Sonny with a Chance, Fineas & Pherb, Camp Rock, Shake it up , & Wizards of Waverly Place is nothing but SHIT Disney. Go watch some REAL DISNEY like this, Mulan, Cinderella, Tangled, Princess & the Frog, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Snow White, Dumbo, Fantasia [2000], Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Treasure Planet, Lilo & Stitch, & the rest of the others!

  • @Frisby2007 Hey all Disney is STILL GREAT IF U WANT TO TROLL ON SOMETHING DO IT ON SOMETHING LIKE ALL THE STUPID REALITY TV SHOWS THEY HAVE ON NOWADAYS!

  • @Hillyfan1 I applaud you for disagreeing with the majority, although I do not agree. New Disney is not half as good as classic Disney, however I respect dissent especially when it goes against the masses.... :) good for you

  • <3

  • French version is better!

  • This...this is magical <3.

  • Grandmother willow would be the best grandmother ever!

  • if i ever hav kids... they will know what Disney really is...

  • best song ever

  • This movie had me believing I could talk to trees :3 Ohhh Disney I love you :)

  • this song sounds like it came from Mulan. ik it didnt

  • The people who dislike this video can't listen with their heart, because they don't have one.

  • this tree scared the shit out of me when i was a kid

  • listen dutch version its alot better

  • Do you remember wanting to run through the plains of Africa with Simba?

Swing through the jungle with Tarzan?

Go to the enchanted castle with Belle?

Go to the ball with Cinderella?

Ride a magic carpet with Aladdin?

    Save China with Mulan?

Shrink to toy size to play with Buzz and Woody?

Turn into mer-people and go under the sea with Ariel?

If you want Disney to bring back movies like these repost this note on other disney movies so th edisney copration might see it

  • @morgiedo You make me cry... So beautiful

  • @morgiedo Think about it like this. Walt Disney is rolling in his grave because of their choices to move away from the good Disney to the horrible Disney

  • @morgiedo

I'm not going to like your quote because it doesn't include Pocahontas =T

But I will because I love the old Disney.

  • @morgiedo Hi, I totally agree with you, although your quest is noble and just. It's out of reach. Today's generation is out of touch with todays youth...Sadly...These movies will never re open childrens eyes to what wonderful creations come to the screen.

  • @morgiedo Ehemm: Winnie The Pooh, WALL-E, Toy Story 3, Tangled, Meet The Robinsons, Bolt, Up. All came in the last four years.
