I was appalled when I learned my younger family members had never seen movies like Pocahontas, or the Lion King. I took them out to see the Lion King in 3D, and they truly enjoyed it. The 12 year old completely immersed. With Beauty and the Beast soon in theaters maybe more people will see the beauty in these movies.

This morning I was sitting on the back porch feeling the wind on my skin and thinking how the wind has a special meaning if you stop and listen to it. The way it can make you feel and how it can guide you. Then I slept for another hour and had a dream I was trying to find the movie Pocahontas so I could watch it, woke up and stumbled across this song. I completely forgot about this part until now. When i was a little girl, i used to love coming home from school and raid my video cabinet for Pocahontas and stuff it into the vcr and watch the movie over and over again because i loved it so much. And now i'm 18 years old and haven't gotten over how much of an impact this movie had on me. It has this powerful message that we should all respect one another and not kill anyone or anything! Pocahontas was and still is a beautiful person and how much we all love the old Disney! Hate the new one!
