@kmont005 you can try a spanish or ethnic super market cuz they usually have it there. or go on amazon dot com and type "aloe vera plant", then click on the first link and buy a plant there. hope this helps!

@p1nkUn1c0rn i'm not elisa, but fresh aloe is better because the gel that you buy from the supermarket has preservatives and sometimes alcohol in them. you can buy an aloe vera plant online at amazon(dot)com if you type "aloe vera plant" and click on the first link then viola you bought a plant that you can continue to grow and use for a long time. hope this helps! :D

@salazar21 u can use rice water... just take white rice mix with water and pour the powdery water into the mixture :) you can use regular vinegar but it can burn your skin if you have sensitive skin..

@formystudies thats wierd, cz i've done some research and stuff, lemon juice lightens spots on ur face. I've tried it bcoz yrs ago i had this big pimple and it left a scar on my face so i used lemon+water everyday after shower i apply to the spot and within 2 wks the scar was gone

@flicammi yeah. aloe vera gel is made from the gel part of the plant. it is the stuff they use anyways so it still has some benefits. this is good if you can't get your hands on fresh ones.
