Loeb is the best right now, but it seems to me that Ken is having the most fun doing it. Thanks to him, I got into WRC. Yes, he's not the best driver out there, but he'll improve and hopefully will be a great WRC driver.
His reputation as a driver is of course ludicrously overblown in America, but he is determined to bring real motorsport to an American audience, and he had the bottle to join World Rally.
He is nowhere near the top guys right now, but he is a good driver, and he is competitive.
Go Ken! Umake a good figure in WRC.... I think you're doing great. As your first season in the wrc, this is not bad. there are worse drivers than u in the wrc, even they have many seasons there. It's a pity u only have 7 rallies :) From a Petter Solberg fan :))

@nickjgriff nah that's not true. most of what he does (driving wise) is rally driving. and he IS good at it.... but he also has the skills to do the stunts as well which (power to him) has got him a lot of fame and money. well done for him, but he's a rally driver first and foremost.
If you havn't already noticed.. Ken blocks carea is going the same way Colin mcrea's went.. Mcrea had his "boy fun" time before he became the immense rally driver

if you think about it Seb isn't perfect, he's rolled, hit trees, hit cows, so it happens to even the greatest, and I know Ken won't do spectacular this season, but it's his first and up until the crash he was doing really well, just don't judge him till the end, then we'll see

I think Ken did a great job in Mexico. and i think he will be faster when he's not that cautious. He held back a little in Mexico. just trying to get seat-time and finish the whole thing in one piece. I'm sure he will be faster as the season goes by. Sure he can't beat the top 5... but noone in their first season ever do. Keep on working Mr Block... It's a pity that you're not on the starting-line in every rally this season :)

sometimes 8th or 9th if you consider the number of wrc driver to 12 it's nonsense (the other competitors are not). the difference of level between the top 6 and the other is huge. Block has an experience of 5 years in rally, Raikonen has just began this year and succeed to finish some stages in the top 5.

raikkonen will more likely get more points if you look at how many rally's he's going to drive, all but one! ken will drive a little less. but then again ken is more experienced on the rally side of racing. but not with wrc gear. i think it'll be very close!

Block was really fast at 10th SS, very good time on splits faster than Villagra & Wilson, but then he went out of the road and broke suspension. Today he won´t continue, probaly tomorrow by superrally rules he will race. He had been 9th overall before he crashed..
Don't forget that Ken has experience in American rally only, so he might be good in Mexico, but he hasn't advantages against Raikonen on other rounds. But Ken is great, he will be good next year I hope

yes, mika did rallies, but I think only 1 wrc event sweden.. kimi is first f1 driver who has been went more rallies in 1season.. I dont think there has been more f1 driver in wrc. Rossi sometimes try, but he is a motocycle racer, Mathias Ekstrom as a circuit driver who succesfully took part in wrc.. But no more f1 dr. did take part in.. So I would not talk abt wrc retirement job for f1 drivers..

Man, you dont know anything about rally. Kens STI is a group N car not a WRC car. And Subaru isent in the WRC right now so Ken cant use a STI IN WRC events.
MetalSanke : he could buy an older Subaru WRC or rent from private team, but ofcourse it is the question of competitiveness.. Now he have Client version of WRC prepared by M-Sport, same have Henning Solberg or Mathew Wilson.
Impreza WRC in last 4-5 yrs did not win any event in the world champ. while Ford Focus WRC won 27 rallies since january 2006. Subaru was unsuccesfull and the factory don´t take part in the wrc anymore coz of economic reasons. Ken could take only Focus WRC or Citroen C4 WRC to get a really good car..
Its sad not to see you in a Subaru, but i'm very very happy to see an America driving in something not NASCAR, or Indy. btw since your sponsored by Ford ken, you should convince them to bring the RS to America.

Its funny you say that, because he did really great in Mexico. Finished 18th overall after missing AN ENTIRE DAY OF THE THE EVENT. I think the Europeans are scared.

if you think about it Seb isn't perfect, he's rolled, hit trees, hit cows, so it happens to even the greatest, and I know Ken won't do spectacular this season, but it's his first and up until the crash he was doing really well, just don't judge him till the end, then we'll see

@boysofwexford everyone bought there way into the wrc.. if you want to start out, you have to buy your own used rally car or build your own, you also have to buy all the safety equipment! out of your own poket! when you first start out, your a nobody! no ones gonna just give you free stuff! you gotta earn it! getting into any motor sport, requiers guts, skill, and MONEY.

I think Ken did a great job in Mexico. and i think he will be faster when he's not that cautious. He held back a little in Mexico. just trying to get seat-time and finish the whole thing in one piece. I'm sure he will be faster as the season goes by. Sure he can't beat the top 5... but noone in their first season ever do. Keep on working Mr Block... It's a pity that you're not on the starting-line in every rally this season :)

sometimes 8th or 9th if you consider the number of wrc driver to 12 it's nonsense (the other competitors are not). the difference of level between the top 6 and the other is huge. Block has an experience of 5 years in rally, Raikonen has just began this year and succeed to finish some stages in the top 5.

raikkonen will more likely get more points if you look at how many rally's he's going to drive, all but one! ken will drive a little less. but then again ken is more experienced on the rally side of racing. but not with wrc gear. i think it'll be very close!

Block was really fast at 10th SS, very good time on splits faster than Villagra & Wilson, but then he went out of the road and broke suspension. Today he won´t continue, probaly tomorrow by superrally rules he will race. He had been 9th overall before he crashed..

Don't forget that Ken has experience in American rally only, so he might be good in Mexico, but he hasn't advantages against Raikonen on other rounds. But Ken is great, he will be good next year I hope

Mexico shakedown: While Solberg was all smiles at the end of the session, a number of other WRC competitors were left with damaged cars as a result of an extremely steep water splash. Ford drivers Jari-Matti Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen also collected front end damage, proving the issue was not just a Citroen problem. Solberg won 1st stage today, -10s Ogier, -11s Sordo, -14s Loeb (Citroen all top4 places), -22s Latvala, -22 Hirvonen, H.Solberg, Wilson, -38s Block (Ford drivers on 5-9pos.), -39s Raikkonen, Villagra, 12.Kosciuszko (Fiesta S2000- leading S-WRC category), Pons (Fiesta S2000), Brynildsen (Skoda Fabia S2000). In P-WRC categ. is leading Arajou Mitsu Lancer Evo10 (15th overall)... Stage2: Solberg wins again, Block 8th-faster than Wilson.. Brynildsen (Skoda Fabia) & Raikkonen stopped in the stage!

yes, mika did rallies, but I think only 1 wrc event sweden.. kimi is first f1 driver who has been went more rallies in 1season.. I dont think there has been more f1 driver in wrc. Rossi sometimes try, but he is a motocycle racer, Mathias Ekstrom as a circuit driver who succesfully took part in wrc.. But no more f1 dr. did take part in.. So I would not talk abt wrc retirement job for f1 drivers..

Man, you dont know anything about rally. Kens STI is a group N car not a WRC car. And Subaru isent in the WRC right now so Ken cant use a STI IN WRC events.

Impreza WRC in last 4-5 yrs did not win any event in the world champ. while Ford Focus WRC won 27 rallies since january 2006. Subaru was unsuccesfull and the factory don´t take part in the wrc anymore coz of economic reasons. Ken could take only Focus WRC or Citroen C4 WRC to get a really good car..
