Which Hawaii school are you attending right now? I am actually applying to Hawai'i Pacific University for Gradschool and am waiting to hear from them. But yes I did hear that not a lot of khmer people live there :(.

I actually got accepted and my orientation is on the 4th of September and classes start on the 7th. Are you still at the University? What is your major?

well, congratulation and welcome to the paradise on earth...!!! My major is Computer science. My school will start earlier in mid August. The 7th of September is a US holiday... but maybe HPU dont close that day...

Anyway, are you staying in your own apartment or in the dorm? I rented out a room from a family, that lives 30mins away by bus ,there. I'm leaving to go to Hawaii on the 29th of this month. I"m so nervous!!! it' going to be an adventure for me because this is the first time for me to go away, THAT far away, from home :).
