  • Price?

  • @thegameshows1 $420 375euros I think, look on the website for the thing

  • Price??

  • Whats the price??????

  • The guy narrating is a bell end

  • i want one

  • @OldGuyWalter

    who doesn't C:

  • @ehabcharek Only losers don't want one.

  • @ehabcharek Only losers don't want one.

  • portable gamecube???

    Nahh, just the logo.

Wonder when this is gonna get 3D support

  • I wish i could afford one. I tnink its a fantastic programme worthy of support

  • The bootup screen looks like a Marathon Terminal.

Ironic, because you can play the Marathon Trilogy on it...

  • The new DS is not actually designed for the same audience. If you feel that a 3DS will be better, then for you it will be.

The basic rule for the Pandora is that if you don't like the look of it or if you don't appreciate the features it has, then it's probably not for you.

It's a hardcore geek's dream device, not a mainstream handheld.

  • I want one of these things, but for now am saving my pennies for the new DS.

  • @fook123 The Nintendo 3DS is a new gaming handheld console that is not a DS but a completely new system like how the SNES went to the N64. The 3DS will beat this on it's first year.

  • @TwistedN Yea I know, but it is still a nintendo ds. It still has dual screens, hell it even plays DS games. But my comment was not wrong in anyway shape or form. But I feel it's more like Gameboy Color to Gameboy advanced. Just because it isn't going from 2d to 3d, it's going 3d to 3d with a hell of a lot more horsepower.

  • @fook123 Ha I see you're not one of those unknowing gamers also I see the 3DS as 3DScreens ;D

  • @TwistedN You should see my collection, even though I have only been alive since 1990 I have a pretty nice collection. I have a small amount of it on my channel, but I don't want to advertise anything here. I am somewhat knowledgeable.

  • how did you get this?

  • my first impression is that it looks REALLY cheap. anybody else get that? i mean it has some power, but its nice to look good too. maybe apple needs to get in on this xD o no, then itll be $1299.99 xD

  • @Thatcrazykidbrendan if apple was involved it wouldn't be Open source anymore... "BUY NOW FROM APPLE!!"

  • I think those analogues are gonna take a while to get used to :D

  • Where do you buy this!?

  • lol pandora's box has been opened

  • Move the device away because someone could steal your pandora?

  • How did the analog nubs turn out to be? are they any good? are they good por PS1 games and N64 games and such?

  • @MoonOvIce they dont handle like nubs or noobs.

  • who need ure password lol

  • You hid your name and then it was given away later. I thought it was fine, since it was only your first name. But looking at your username...

  • where can got one?? , i want one

  • too expensive

    even a ps3 is cheaper

  • @jerryanderium

Yeah, but you cant carry around a PS3.

You also cant install Linux (anymore) or any Emulator for PS1, NES, SNES, etc on the PS3.

They are just too different to compare.

  • @SoniXtheOnly so you tell me that, linux, emulators and portability worth 350$

I would prefer an iphone 4, with a better processor, better display, better software, with every emulator, with a future capability of running android, with a future control pad (icontrolpad), more portable, is a phone, and it is cheaper

  • @jerryanderium

Here in Europa the iphone 4 will cost more than 1000Euro (~1200dollar)!!

You will get 3 Pandoras for this money.

  • @SoniXtheOnly 1000 €?! WOAH!!! i take everything i said back. Sorry :)

...but it is still very expensive for the little performance

  • @SoniXtheOnly

You live in Jupiters moon Europa i didnt know that :)

  • @jerryanderium nigga you best be trollin.

  • @jerryanderium

    nice troll bro

  • @jerryanderium Hmmm, i do recall the iphones and the pandora running the same processor. Also android already ported over and more. Just trying to be more accurate with my posts.

  • @Eelementalz What you don't understand is that pandora isn't even in competition to and Iphone. Pandora is basically a VERY affordable UMPC with gaming controls. It has much more fuctionality than an I-Phone because it isn't restricted on software production or hardware mods.

  • @SURPLUSNiNjA oops meant to reply that at jerry :\

  • @SURPLUSNiNjA the iphone has street fighter 4

    sonic 4

    prince of persia warrior whitin

    rage

    annd other thing is :

if the iphone was that bad why do dev like capcom id software.. would like to work on it

the pandora has no real games by real dev

  • @zawette Because there isn't a profit in it, the pandora has an istall base of less then 4000 units? atm also i never argued which is better. Its like apples and oranges, you can't compare them. They aren't meant to do the same things. UMPC/Portable Gaming Device Vs. Smart Phone? doesn't make sense to me. The only reason the subject even comes up is because of 3rd party support Apple has done nothing to encourage gaming on its platforms.

  • I just noticed that this runs on a modified debian linux distro. That means it can also run on any netbook...

  • @Charles2337 Minus the touch screen of course.

  • This is very interesting. But I rarely play games on the go anyways. I only use my smart phone for music.

  • PSP has more commercially available games but Pandora is faster and can emulate games much better than PSP can. Let's see a PSP emulate N64 (with a playable frame rate), PS1 (which it already can, but it's hardly a drag and drop process, I have done it myself), and Sega Saturn.

If you want to just play games (mostly commercial, limited emulation) and stream movies, get a PSP and hack it. If you want to surf the web, compose documents, and have better controls, get a Pandora. Simple as that.

  • @Speculantscooter to be fair that was 1 of my arguments (no developer support for Pandora targeted games aka commercial games), I know its main purpose is just for emulation, but it would have been nice to see it include a mic, alt metre etc so DS style games could have been developed.

  • @Exesta There is a DS emulator planned for the Pandora. Almost no DS games use the mic anyways.

  • @Exesta There is a mic by the LEDs on the right side

  • @SealOfQuality thats good to know then, I just wish there is a way to port DS games onto this device, but with no dual screen thats problematic anyway

  • Pandora is a lot better than PSP, this is ridiculous...

  • @ psp 1000 is not that expensive and psp can play those games which are emulated by pandora .Homebrew on psp are open source as well

  • @rahmanrock2

they're working on a psp and a dreamcast emulator actually

  • lolz y wast money on these console ,need to play game on portable platform go for PSP !

  • @rahmanrock2 pandora is way better than psp. you can play much more games on it and its open source. and its still not really expensive. psp is expensive

  • omg why is the shipping screen protector sti- yessss thank you for removing it

  • wtf is that?

  • I think i'll wait to see if these take off, otherwise its a new iphone out this year, webuse and evolving games are wat r important to me

  • hell i am so jealous :D

  • It sounds like a mouse is scratching up there. Made me chuckle. ;)

  • You little legend you. Makes the wait for mine all the more difficult though D:

  • love the boot up message :D shame the boot up background is lame :P

  • It's funny how you made it look like you tried to hide your real name as you were typing only to bring it back typed up and show to the camera. I realized you just moved it to type but it was still kinda funny. thanks for showing the first time boot up.

  • subscribed. looks like a fantastic screen! and thanks again for the great hd clips :)

  • Excellent Video

Although you did leave us with a bit of a Cliffhanger!

  • Oh, you vicious tease, not showing us any typing on the keyboard! ;)

But seriously, thanks for making these videos. Now take a break and enjoy your new magic object!
