cylinder looks fine, in over all condition, its a little dirty, the "side thingys" are your reed valves, they allow air and gas to flow in and out of the motor, make sure you dont rip the head gasket. AND squzze your rings before apllying your cylinder back on. The side thngys just leave on until you get a hp carb. keep her going....
hey do you know if you NEED to replace your head gasket when you tear down you engine? if you cant reuse the old head gasket because it wont seal correctly again? anyway your block looks like its in pretty good condition from what i can see.
cleaner than mine. The top of my cylinder is dirty as hell. I am guessing its because I ran a rich ratio...
