The title should be "top 10 Divas". Although Nattie, Jazz, Victoria and Trish are good wrestlers, this list is far away from "most competitive". I'm not trying to bash the divas here, but if you like competitive female pro wrestling you should perhaps look for US female independent Wrestling like SHIMMER (where people like Beth Phoenix and Nattie Neidhart also competed) or better the Japanese legends like Bull Nakano (also wrestled Alundra Blayze at Summerslam94), Manami Toyota or Akira Hokuto.
@Wurzelknecht I'll look n2 some of your suggestions, although bare in mind the only thing any1 can do is put down what "they've" seen in their respective lifetimes. I thank u 4 your input.
@pmknight12 Yeah I know. That's why I wanted to make sure you understand that I didn't want to bash your choices. I tend to annoy people by pointing out independent and japanese wrestling on WWE or TNA videos but that's the way I learned about other wrestlers aside the mainstream ones, and today I'm all the more happy for it because it provided me with an alternative (especially since I'm more of a wrestling instead of s-entertainment fan and WWE distances itself more and more from the former)
@Wurzelknecht I appreciated your well reasoned comments. It's refreshing 2 "listen" 2 someone who can have an opposing viewpoint, w/o resorting 2 cheap shots & insults. I wish more ppl would exspress themselves as u have. It would make u-tube a more harmonious place.
@RPenta At the time if it was'nt some obese 300pounder, it was Sunny (one of the BodyDonna's) or the Fabulous one herself, who had to be pushing 70 back then, if not... she had a really hard life.
Ultimately if you remember things differently, thats fine with me. All I can do is speak on things from my perspective. I welcome differing opinions, but I'm not trying to have an argument.
At the risk of destroying my rep as Madusa's biggest online critic--let me put it this way--you don't know what you are talking about--I got from seeing the pic you selected of Madusa--yea, the implants then were a bad idea--but earlier in her career pre-implants she was a very serious and tough wrestler that would have taken Trish Stratus the most overrated women's wrestler in history.
Pre-implant, Madusa have matches with Sherri, Luna, Wendi and many of the best joshi and did well.
@RPenta Since my memories of Allundr wrestling under her original Madusa name are minimal at best, those matches were not taken into consideration. Having said that, the other wrestlers that u mentioned: Sherri, I remember her wrestling, but it did not leave a lasting impression; what I do remember is her is her being the annoying manger of Savage and Michaels. Luna I remember her for mostly being the gravely voiced mouthpiece for Bambam. Wendi was alright when she was'nt with Cyndi Lauper.
Here are my Top 10 current faves: 1. Michelle McCool 2. Alissa Flash 3. Hamada 4. Gail Kim 5. Sarita 6. Daffney 7. Taylor Wilde 8. Tara/Victoria 9. Maryse 10. Roxxi And I have to agree with you that the Widow's Peak is one of the best finishers ever. J.
Dang! I must reallybbe outta the loop. Most of the names that u mentioned I have not heard of, R many of these ladies TNA wrestlers? (#'s 2,3,5,6,7,10)
@pmknight12 Ya, a lot of them are from TNA. I would say the TNA has one the best woman's division in wrestling today. You should check them out sometime. They usually have two woman's matches on Impact every Thursday night.
