no, both have to recharge but the Gundams of celestial being are able to work longer, an dont cause cellular defects. but in season 2, the military has the same GN drives that were given to them but they dont cause cellular defects anymore and only Nena has the one that can cause it and so does Ali Al Sacheez. also in season 2, it tells of special abilities the original GN drives can do.
HELL yeah i love this show it gets to be Fucken sweet now and in the second season now that they will have mobile suits that are on a somewhat more lvl playing field

Nena most likely is a bit mentally disturbed, but I wouldn't call her a bitch. Honestly, she's my favorite character so far. She's a lot more fun than that boring, angsty princess.

Actually I think the part that annoys people is her naive, self-centered hypocrisy. Al-Saches is an unapologetic war-mongering s.o.b. who doesn't pretend to be anything else. As such he's likable to those who like evil types. Nana and all the Trinitys are just undisciplined, naive hypocrites. Her brattiness doesn't help either.
Personally, Nena is still my favorite character in the series. That being said, I would like to thank you for the most intelligent critique of her personality I've heard so far. I can definitely see those reasons playing a role in people's hatred of her. Unfortunately, most people just hide behind what she's done as the reason they hate her; I appreciate that you didn't do that.

I think you're confusing Setsuna with Al-Saches. Considering they're mortal enemies with polar-opposite belief systems, that's a quite a doozy of a mistake.
As for what Nena did... well it's indefensible. I can understand and sympathize with her, but the action itself cannot be defended. But that's generally true when anyone is killed (including if someone killed Nena). Justice and revenge are not necessarily the same thing.

I never said the wedding attack was right. But, the civvies the trinity sibs killed at the factory were sacrificed in accordance with CB's stated doctrine. When CB first showed up, the workers knew they COULD be killed if they didn't find new jobs. They had the whole first season as proof that CB would step in, but they continued to work at a weapons plant.
Nena is the only Trin who killed outside of CB's goals, & she may be insane. It's as valid an excuse for her as it is for Allelujah.

To stop war, in the way they wish you must stop not only those promoting it through open conflict, but through preparations and construction. What is war with no weapons?
One cannot halt conflict in this manner without the sacrifice of civilians/innocents. It is simply an impossibility.
The feeling of injustice amongst the nations is simply from fear that they will no longer be allowed their power and greed.

I love the thrones. They're so much better than the shiny happy gundams the show started with.
And what's with the Trinity siblings getting such a bad rap? They aren't any more psycho than Allelujah, Setsuna, or the HRL supersoldier; but they still get hated more than Ali-Al-Sarches.

It was totally wrong of Nena to attack the wedding, but going after a factory that makes armaments is well withing the mandate of Celestial Being.
You have to remember that much of the cast already admitted they are terrorists & mass murderers.
*HRL supersoldier: attacked a civilian spacestation.
*Allelujah: murdered children while at the supersoldier institute.
*Setsuna: killed his parents & became a jihadist.
*Ali-Al-Sarches: Terrorist mastermind.
How are the Trinitys any worse?

well, the other celestial being interventions were against armed soldiers or terrorists, not against unarmed civilians. plus the wedding attack was pure terrorism, if not worse.
as for allelujah, he was battling a split personality, as for setsuna, he was a little kid, and he kind of was threatened with his own life. now he works to eradicate war.
but all the trinity has done is help the gundams once, but murdered hundreds of civilians, they're worse. a lot worse

In their initial video release, Celestial Being stated they'd attack corporations who were promoting war (one must assume that includes their civilian staffed manufacturing facilities as well). Just because the primary gundam team hadn't done so yet doesn't mean they wouldn't. Though I'm guessing they would certaintly angst over it more than the Trinitys would.
So I guess who is worse is a matter of personal perspective. At the very least, I can safely say they are all very broken people.

celestial being was a plan to irradicate war, weapons do not promote war and in some cases are a countries only means of defence, there for the thrones attack was purely a self justified act, not an attempt to iradicate war, that is why CB hadn't taken those actions.

I agree that it's not about the existance of weapons. If it was; CB would have taken out every military base on the planet as quickly as possible.
Instead, it's about private companies that profit from manufacturing weapons. The race for profits & military contracts does effectively constitute an arms-race. In a very real sense, that is promoting war; and it puts them on CB's radar.

Celestial being (the original four gundams) are trying to eradicate war without leaving piles of mass casualties while if you notice that nene went out of her own way to kill loads of ppl because she was jealous that they were happy and that she was "working"

I never said the wedding attack was right. But, the civvies the trinity sibs killed at the factory were sacrificed in accordance with CB's stated doctrine. When CB first showed up, the workers knew they COULD be killed if they didn't find new jobs. They had the whole first season as proof that CB would step in, but they continued to work at a weapons plant.
Nena is the only Trin who killed outside of CB's goals, & she may be insane. It's as valid an excuse for her as it is for Allelujah.
