Wow if you knew anything about the real tech world, you would laugh at yourself for going from black berry to the I phone. Problem is, you have to have a brain to use a black berry. However it is far more capable than the insanely proprietary, flashy UI of the i phone. Go and good luck ;)

The Storm is a horrible phone (I've had Storm 1 and 2). I can't wait to stop using it when my iPhone arrives. The only thing I'll miss from Rim is the notification light and BBM, bye bye Blackberry.

No matter what anyone says, this is all vapor until they can deliver a working prototype with some kind of release date, like the Playbook. With that, BB has proven they can deliver a compelling device. A 1.2 GHz processor with the RAM they are rumoring seems about right.

You realize if this launches in late Q3 like its rumored, and it has a 1.2GHz processor (also as rumored), we'll have a plethora of dual core Cortex A9 phones out by then. It will be even more behind processor-wise than the current Torch is.

How about app capabilities, web browsing performance, etc? Even if the OS is lighter, a strong processor goes a long way. And the Torch doesn't even have better battery life than 1GHz phones to make up for the weaker processor. It doesn't even have a GPU to offload tasks to like other phones, everything is done on the CPU which makes it feel even slower than it already is.

@tipoomaster lol well what capabilities will other phones be able to do that it wont? blackberrys are already the king of multitasking. I have a storm 9530 and it holds up extremely well in most areas against new handsets. I'll admit that it isnt the best gaming platform though.
