LS3's are aluminum block/ aluminum head, so it's not like the things are extraordinarily heavy. I own an evo x and yes i would say that i would get my ass handed to me by a slightly modded evo ix being stock but i do have to disagree that the evo x is less of an evo than the others as the evo x is pushing out more power and has more build capability on stock internals than any evo before it, not to mention the new unsurpassed super all wheel drive system. @TrueHDVids most evo's are modded anyway. The lap record around a local major track here for a production car is EVO X GSR. I'm sure plenty of other EVO's 8-9 etc have tried. But there is hardly any difference and it is prob down to the driver at that point....
