Side note: I got hypothermia once in Santa Cruz trying to surf. I'm sure a bit before your time. A black man trying to surf for the 1st time. lol. But i had a blast other then the hypothermia. i walked around on the boardwalk for two shivering. Then moronically i went back out and "surfed" another 3 hours. Never did catch a wave either. Still had fun.
the way i see it her, nicole tranquilllo, and devyn rush are better than AI anyway .. the judges have their favorites.. obviously ..and if they spot a dark horse... they kick em out.
hey Lisa, if you're looking at this, I'm one of the AI viewers who was mesmerized when you sang 'Sweet Thing' back then. I hope you make it big or at least pursue your dreams to the most now! I also look forward to you uploading more high quality recordings of you singing more of soulful songs =)
Unfortunately, AI isn't about the best singers, but about the best product for that year. The judges kept saying that she reminded them of Kelly Clarkson, so they didn't need a KC.2. That year they were hoping for a Britany Spears knockoff or MJ Blige wanabe. This year, they are hoping for a Taylor Swift style singer to make it through. It's was not fair to her, but that's their business

It would be so cool if she tried out for the Voice next season - a lot more talent on that show anyway and I would love to see her have a second chance and let the audience members decide . If you are listening , Lisa, please consider this - they are accepting auditions still , I believe . Some were chosen from youtube . this was one of those really lame moments on idol that makes u stop watching..like you said, randy said she has the best voice in the competition and she definately did!
I was extremely confused why she wasn't able to sing, especially after Randy said "She has potentially the best voice in the competition" along with my confusion on why Leah LaBelle was allowed to sing after Simon said "Impression? Extremely disappointed."
Lisa should've definitely been in the finals to blow away some of the crappy singers that were in that season.

I auditioned for season three in Pasadena and remember seeing people who had better voices than I'd ever heard not even making it through the first batch of producers. But it's a show... so I guess they should invent a show just like AI, only a singing competition.
Im such a HUGE fan of her. I downloaded her singing sweet thang and put it on a cd and played it for EVERYONE. Im still so mad to THIS DAY, they didnt let her sing. She would have made it to finals for sure! This performance gave me chills. I will always be a fan!
absolutely wonderful!! Lisa was completely robbed on that show.. I think her dismissal was the time I got THE most angry and frustrated w/ the show. After seeing that happen to her and going to an audition myself and seeing great singers leaving in tears while hula hooping half naked men who didn't sing at all got through, I lost faith in that show. Lisa doesn't need them.. she will be successful with that incredible talent of hers! ~Ej
she is SO good - she is better live than most recording artists are after getting all tweaked in the studio - GO LISA! Hope her new CD REALITY is selling well - she deserves it!
lisa was robbed in american idol... she's great... i dont know what they're looking for...

Ya know, Constantine Maroulis was talking to this correspondent about how they could make American idol better and fresher next season.
One of the ideas thrown in was to have a American Idol 'Favorites' thing where they bring back those who lost and give them another shot.
Lisa would be the one I'd vote for. Hands down!!!
