  • Can we play with Pizzicato strings ?

  • "Do the reggae pigeon"!!!

  • hi

  • i take it unless i can find one other then that

  • Yamaha, why no GHS?

  • @IFrancyISantosI

Because the whole idea of the "Piaggero" product line is to be lightweight.

There's the DGX-640 with roughly similar features and with GHS.

  • I use the NP V80 for all my gigs (jazz, singalongs, functions). You can switch styles mid-song (keeping the same tempo) for variation. I sold my Tyros 3..even Tyros styles become boring once you've heard them enough. For entertaining/gigging,you can't beat the NP V80....stick it under your arm and off you go.You can always play your Bechstein at home.

Our vocalist has a Bose Pole PA and I have the Stagepas 500. This little piano sounds great through these.......less is more !

  • Does it have single finger chords?

  • All of these auto accompaniments get so boring after a year.

  • nice one mate. whats the song u start playing 0:33.?

  • Ok its not weighted

If it feels like the original Motif 8 or as good im satisfied.

Can anyone here tell me if the feel is similar to the original Motif 8

If so ill buy one ASAP

All i need is a controller but its hard to find a decent weighted 88

without all the extras and crazy price tag. Yamaha makes quality

So i know i wont have to buy another one within at least 6-8 years.

  • No, the Piaggero does not have weighted keys.

The whole philosophy of the Piaggero (a blending of the words Piano and Leggero, which means "light") is great sound in a portable package. Weighted keys would defeat the purpose of this keyboard. I had a chance to try one out today, and for the money, the sound, portability, usb connectivity, and arranger/recording functions on this unit are hard to beat.

  • Piaggero features Yamaha's own Graded Soft Touch (GST) keyboard!

  • hi may i ask you just a quick question:

    Does this piano weighted key?

    THanks

    bye
