Mr berrys, voice is excellent! I remember when this song was all over the radio. Always liked it and I've always liked him as a good Christian guy! Heard his life story and he's been faithful through all his trials!
He was one of the best voices in the 90s and underrated to. It is too bad radio doesn't play his music anymore. Heck I don't think I even hear his old stuff.
@samuelducanada Who happens to be quite lovely as you can see. I love this song as well. My favorite of John Berry's. I heard it on the radio a few days ago for the first time in years. Wonderful song!!!
Samuel: That was my dads name. A good solid name. I also see that one of your songs is "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. I played that song this morning. It makes me cry every time I play it. I just danced with my youngest daughter two months ago at her wedding. It was our song. Thanks for replying. It was nice to hear from you. Hang in there if your looking for a lifetime girl. She is probably looking for you also. You'll know when it is the right one.. Good luck...
@onanysunday72 Thanks for replying too. Samuel is actually my middle name (my grandfather's first name). I'll remember your words. I like this song because it tells a love story that really happens.
Is it just me or does anyone else think the guy shooting the video was not using a tripod, it kinda looks like when the camera moves the video kinda stops mid movement then the rest kinda trails to finish the frame, must be my video card
This video is as cute as they get....There is always that one person in life that can get more out of you than you thought, so I married her 37 years ago, She still has the same magic for me that she did way back then.....Tell me I ain't lucky,
@onanysunday72 My dad used to say he didn't believe that there was one person meant for you forever because people would not stay together. I used to say "well then that wasn't the right person for you if it didn't work out". He has been married to my mom now for 44 years. I think he was mistaken. You may THINK it's the one but until you go thru it like you have, then you know.
i got my photo taken with john berry when I went to fanfair in Nashville when it was my first visit there from england. he said he'd been to england on radio and did radio interviews here.nice bloke
john berry will be doing a concert at jeff plaza in jeffersonville on 10th st in jeffersonville everyone welcome to come its a fundraiser for a lady who has to have heart tranplant you can get in for 20 bucks plus eat this coming sunday 25th oct 2009
I remember hearing the true story that inspired this video (and "It Could Happen to You" with Nick Cage and Bridget Fonda). I've always thought this was a great way to back the song, which to this day is among the best country I've heard. John Barry is fantastic.
I know what you mean. I often find myself singing to it while walking around my college campus. And I don't even notice I'm doing it until people start giving me weird looks for singing off-key in the middle of campus. :P
I played Rosie in the vid. What a blast! We shot it in Nashville. John, his wife Robin and the band were all so nice. His voice is so true. I still love his music.
For years I looked for the song... I could never remember all the words and then I found this! Thank you! This brings back memories from the 90's! Great job!
This is certainly a great song, sure wish JB had a video for (Standing on the edge of Goodbye) that to is a great song, boy do I also wish he would contiue to make more C&W music, thanks for posting this video!!!!!!

It's nice to have a song not about a beauty or celebrity, just an ordinary woman.
