@Kenzbabiesmama Although nothing's 100% certain, we are supposed to believe that the baby is John's, i.e., that it's in part because she's pregnant with someone *else's* baby that the Russian guys abandon her.
@swanstep I don't think the baby is John's baby because she says she suffer of nausea because she's pregnant and in the first scene of them in the car (as they meet each other) she starts throwing up, before they have any sex, so...
@sofy30stm Hmm. And there's a line from Nadia to Alexei where she says the baby's his (citing weeks of sickness). But I wasn't sure whether to believe her there (perhaps she's just worried that Alexei will be angry etc. if it's someone else's). Checking the script now though, I guess on balance we should believe her. That makes John more gallant in following her to Russia, and makes Alexei's abandoning of Nadia harder to understand. Perhaps that's right, you've convinced me it probably is.
Was Sophie's baby really John's I am having a hard time wondering if it was implied to be Johns or not .
