hey, great guide! but when trying to install cIOS, i choose the right options, network installation and so forth and then displays "Initializing network" and dosen't change, I left it for 30 minutes still no prevail. Would be great if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong. :)

@TheKidMotion You need a Mod Chip And an attachment called the WODE. Its pretty cool but I don't want to spend money on it tho. U can play backups from usb and dvd. So if your interested in buying one Google it. Also your disc drive, is it broken or can't read any backups?

Well I burned Wind Waker also and it's pretty much perfect but I only played it once. It ran smoothly except occasionally it jerked a few seconds, is this normal? OH, it also crashed on me when I first opened the map using the d-pad, is that coincidental or would it happen again?

I've Realized how to fix the problem when you go on GC Launcher. You need a Gamecube Controller! You can't use the Wii Remote or Classic Controller to use this the just simply won't connect. I plugged in my Gamecube controller and the stuff popped up and i just press the button and took me on to the game and my wii is version 4.3e

BTW My DVD is DVD-R and the Speed seted to 2x wich was the lowest. And my wii is black.

DVDX Could be installed on my Wii too and i did install it long ago. I tryed installing it again too, and it says it worked, but still me backup cant load.

PS: My dad Always uses DVD-R because he dosnt like very much DVD+R, so Im lucky.

When I go put m back up and load the GC back up loader it says an error:

Failed to load DVD 263.

Error 0x3023a00 No Disk.

I don't know WTF is going on. NeoGamma says the driver is too new, if it means my wii then shit, I got that wii on May 2010 while this video on February.

My Wii Firmware is 4.3u. When brought the wii it was 4.2u and did hacked it, but updated for a fucking Game from WiiWare because WiiShop Channel because dint let me go there.

Nice Tut, 1 Problem, When i run the game on my wii, it goes back to the wii menu but it does detect it as a gamecube game on disc channel thing. I run the GC back up launcher and it starts to load but then goes back to the system menu. With my old genuine gc games it works and loads fine. What is the problem?

WTH!!! Ok I cannot get any of this shit to work. My Wiimote shuts off every time I try to do this CIOS installer. I'm on 4.3u. I already have 1.0.8 HBC installed, so I don't know why this won't work. I used nus downloader to get the right .wad file. It is in the root of my sd card. I went ahead and got the newest CIOS installer ver 21. If any one can help me with this I would really appreciate it.

i need help the multi iso file i tryed was tales of symphonia disc 1 + 2 its a 2 disc game and i put fire emblem put into one iso file i haven't tryed other games because i need to save discs and fix this so i can put more games on 1 dvd. when i use multi iso and put it in gamecube launcher it goes to multi iso menu but doesnt boot dvd it just says it recognizes disc. gamecube launcher has worked with the same games i put in multi iso but has to only be 1 game on a disc.

@bigphil0005 if i was you try using the NEOGAMMA backup launcher if you are having troubles with The gamecubebackup laucher. make sure you installed the MIOS or else it will just boot you back to the BOOTMII or main DAS.

+Slight word of advice.+ Pressing X at the MIOS install screen will install the GC backup program to the MIOS directly, enabling GC backup play from the System Menu Disc Channel instead of using the GC backup app each time to load the game. This is for those who do not already know this.
