  • I remember the first time I watched this I thought Tommy was in on it around the 1:06 part. When he smiled and shook his head I thought he was smiling down to Chris and she was smiling back at him but then I caught on that she was smiling at Sue being dragged away and plus no way could Tommy see her since she is under the stage lol. Glad he wasn't in on it, he was so nice to her :)

  • I wouldve fucked alllllll of them up too. Carrie, i bow down to you. U my #1 bitch.

  • 03:22....shit just got real

  • finally, somebody got the reference!

  • STOP LAUGHING AT ME! STAY OUT OF MY SHED! STAY OUT OF MY SHEEEEEEEDDD!!!!!!!

  • 2:02 Oh my god ! Look at all this porn !

  • The most kick ass scene in the history of kick ass scenes!

  • don't they know that Carrie is dangerous if you get her mad?????

  • I guess Chris got

    *Puts on sunglasses*

    Rear-Ended.

  • Yay Chris and Billy are dead!!! :D

  • "They're all going to laugh at you." Is going to be in my head for weeks.

  • I saw this when it came out (I was 16), and it was overpowering. The thing that got me then and still gets me today is De Palma's use of a slow drone instead of some jumped-up soundtrack. He's not telling you that you should be scared - just reminding you that what's happening is inevitable.

  • @jackal59 Well, he does quote the high-string shriek from the Psycho soundtrack. Wouldn't want to accuse De Palma of being too original. ;)

  • 13 bullies learned the lesson.

  • Now that's what I call "It Gets Better"

  • those bullying hoes deserve what carrie did to them

  • THIS IS HOW JEAN GRAY SHOULD BE AND THIS MOVIE IS FROM THE 70'S.

  • So Tommy actually cared about Carrie. One nice person out of the entire grade :(. Oh well the asses got what they deserved! But why did Carrie kill the teacher who was nice to her? And did anyone see what happened to Tommy did he just lay there or what?

  • @DimSimToughBitch same with sue and she was the reason why tommy asked carrie to the prom.. and sue had every right to stop the prank if miss collins haven't kicked her out of the prom

  • @DimSimToughBitch I read the book and there were two buckets instead of one, and when Chris lets go of the rope the bucket fall and kills Tommy by blunt force trauma.

  • @DimSimToughBitch They were more focused on Carrie, she killed all of those people because she believed they were all laughing at her and had something to do with it. Sadly that wasn't true, not everyone laughed just Chris's friends and a few others.. I don't think she meant to kill them I just think it was the last straw, went into emotional withdrawal and her powers either went berserk or acting as a defense mechanism.

  • 2-11 should have said WTF

  • What soulless people would laugh at her like that!!??? <=[

  • @supersimpsonsfan100 Most of them aren't laughing, it's just in her head.

  • 3:16 I CAN'T CONTROL IT!!

    3:23 DARK PHOENIX RISES!

  • i really dont know whats so funny about a girl covered in pig's blood

  • Has anyone ever confirmed that Carrie was imagining that everyone's laughing at her?

  • @WimzorTheGreat That's what I always thought, because the PE teacher was also laughing, which couldn't have happened because she got really close to Carrie. So it makes sense that it was all in her mind.

  • This is one of the best scenes EVER in scary movie history, so intense. I must have commented on this 20 times.

  • 4:26 That teacher was always slapping some sense into somebody.

  • Notice that nobody was actually laughing at her. Carrie's crazy bitch of a mother put it in her mind that she was being laughed at. So sad.

  • @TribeHazSpoken Very true and it's a good lesson for anyone in High School. Things are rarely as bad as you think they are.

  • @TribeHazSpoken Actually Norma was laughing at her, but she was in the only one

In the book, however, everyone broke out in laughter because they didn't know what else to do--Stephen King compared the sight of Carrie in pig's blood to the way some Caucasians used to imitate African Americans people (rubbing black paint on their faces) which was considered funny at the time by many people. It was either laugh or go crazy crying.

  • This is the hardest part to watch of any movie I have ever seen, and I want to turn the channel when they are at the prom.... .Depalma is a master. Buit aside from all the supernatural, in real life wouldn't a teacher just run up on the stage to help her instead of just stand there and watch? At least they could have shown one of them running up to the stage to help her and have her strike him or her down on the way up.

  • 7:11, BEST PART OF THE WHOLE MOVIE, HELL YEAH !

  • From 3:27 of Part 10, thru 1:26 of Part 11, this movie was SOOOOO beautiful ! If they could have just let Carrie have her BIG night of triumph ! WHAT A SHAME !

  • this part walls makes me feel bad for her even though it is a movie :'(

  • Thank you for confirming that i will NOT be going to my prom!

  • @IdLie32

    BRING AN UMBRELLA !

  • you know the teacher that was really nice to her? was she the one that got killed by the falling thingie?

  • LMAO when all of those motherfuckers started screaming...

    hahaha!!! Revenge!!

  • Epic when Carrie Looks up at the Lights and they Turn Red with the Sound of a Car Door Shutting! Classic!

  • SHE IS WHAT EVERY KID THAT GOT

    KICKED AROUND,

    RAGGED ON, LAUGHED AT,

PICKED ON...WANTED TO DO TO !

  • @azjla69 Same here. I admit if anyone who had those sort of abilities and was deeply pissed off and on the edge they'd probably do the same as well.

  • I cried so hard. I mean, a girl who has been treated like shit her entire life finally becomes her dream. She's beautiful, she finally has self-respect, she found a nice, handsome guy to love her, a best friend (the coach), and people finally admired here and respected her. It was fucking Chris! It was her fault! Carrie was a sweet girl who just cracked. Now, because of a twisted teenage revenge, innocents died!

  • @Thomasveach95 You can't blame her for what happened. Loads of people made her life at school a misery and the pig blood is what completely tipped her over. Chris isn't the one to blame as she was the only one was nice to her. When you're as enraged as Carrie was you lose all perspective of who's on your side and just end up attacking everyone and anyone.

  • @LightLife4

Chris wasn't nice to Carrie at all? It's Sue who felt bad for Carrie.

  • @TFPTrading Just looked back on the wiki and it was the gym teacher, Ms Collins, who was the only one that was nice to her. If Sue actually felt any remorse then why didn't she show it earlier?

  • @LightLife4

Sue started feeling remorse right after the shower incident. In the book it's clear she's shocked about her reaction, right after Ms. Desjardin (who was renamed Ms. Collins for the movie) enters the shower. In the book (and in the workshop script for the musical version, interestingly) Desjardin is also confused by her reaction, as she wanted to "shake her".

The book gives a lot of depth to Sue and Tommy, I deeply recommend reading it.

  • @Thomasveach95 yeah that sucks. chris is a stupid bitch

  • You can watch this movie 100 times and find something you missed every time. They should make every school bully watch this movie over and over again because bad shit always happens when you mess with "Carrie"! Hell Yeah!

  • I wonder what Miss Collins was thinking when the blood fell on Carrie. No doubt she was horrified, but she probably also realized that she could've prevented it if she had listened to Sue. If she hadn't thrown Sue out, it wouldn't have happend. Sue tried to warn her, but Collins didn't listen. Miss Collins shouldn't have died, but I guess her own foolishness was her downfall.

  • those columbine pussies don't got shit on carrie......

  • See how Norma's BF did NOT find it funny when the blood fell on Carrie?

  • I wonder if she still would've telekinetically kicked their asses if the blood missed her..

  • So....why was Miss Collins killed? Seriously, she supported Carrie the entire film, and that's how Carrie shows her grattitude?

She survives in the book, I don't see the point in killing her in the movie.

  • @FaithIsAnnoyed well carrie just snaped and it was supposed to give that feeling as to 'your not safe here at all'and just to give it that certin atmosphere

  • @FaithIsAnnoyed Carrie was hallucinating I think. She didn't realize not everyone was in on the prank. I felt really bad for Carrie because of that. =(

  • @FaithIsAnnoyed i really didnt understand that part either , But i guess carrie thought she was laughing at her also.

  • Stephen King is AWESOME!!!.

  • I just love how assholes get killed in horror movies

  • That bitch, chris and her asshole boyfriend deserved what they got.

  • The saddest part is when Miss Collins screams "Carrie!" just before she gets crushed. She realizes at that moment Carrie is causing it all.

  • @DickieAnginson Miss Collins shouldn't have died. She was good to Carrie. But she also must've been horrified when the blood fell on Carrie, because Sue tried to warn her, but Collins shoved her out assuming she was there for mischeif. If Collins had survived, she may have blamed herself for it.

  • For some reason it's always annoyed me that Tommy just shakes his head and chuckles when he sees Miss Collins shoving Sue out the door. Wouldn't he be thinking, Why is my girlfriend here and why is she getting kicked out?

  • was the guy bad? the blonde boy with her on the stage?

  • @sorakk457 No, he wasn't. He was very sweet to her, except for the fact that he was the brunette girl's bf.

  • This is a stupid question. But could someone really be killed by a bucket falling on them?

  • @TheBaconEggAndCheese Tommy was not killed, just knocked unconscious, but he of course died with all of the others from Carrie's wreckage

  • @TheBaconEggAndCheese it's possible if it's a galvinized bucket falling from a high distance

  • @TheBaconEggAndCheese he got knocked out.

  • So, Mr. King, let's talk about your high school experience...

  • carrie kicks ASS! dont fuck with her!

  • I know what would have happened to the P.E. teacher when the backboard crashed into her gut; now. It's not pretty. It wouldn't have cut her in two, and it wouldn't have simply crushed her insides. The impact of the board with her gut would have been so powerful, it would have caused a type of explosion of her gut. Her insides would have been forced out/exploded from the impact. No doubt: "SPLAT!", guts everywhere.

  • 6:25 when she comes out of the inferno in the silence of death haunts me everytime

  • why in the name of heaven did sue do nothing when she saw the bucket? WHY?!

  • @julids Oh, scratch that why did miss garner have to interfere when sue was about to catch those two?! Ugh, timing is so terrible, I hate how a few seconds and chances can ruin everything.

  • @julids She tried to warn everyone, but because she wasn't allowed to go to the prom for not having a date, she was dragged out of there. Also, the teacher might have suspected that Sue was going to hurt Carrie again. She didn't trust Sue or the rest of the girls after what they did to Carrie when she got her first period.

  • j'adore...

  • The buildup to the blood falling on Carrie is awful – I was on the edge of my seat. King is a master of letting you know what is going to happen (or sometimes lets you read between the lines and figure it out) and then dragging out the inevitable so that you scream – to no avail – for it not to happen! I know there are many that think he is not a master, but he really is fantastic.

  • Shame about Miss Collins, she genuinely tried to help her out. I know there's a little montage where she's cackling, but I think that's just in Carrie's head – if she really did laugh at Carrie's humiliation, then it would be a bit too much of an abrupt character change. Then again, if we all had the power that Carrie had, I'm sure in a situation such as that, we would be so enraged that we would hardly be able to think properly. Great film – King knows how to make you hate characters!

  • @onfiremusicman I agree, its like in that state of mind Carrie just "visualised" EVERYONE present there laughing at her...I doubt if the other teachers/principal were either. Kinda like Rambo First Blood where he goes into a frenzy destroying every public/private property he comes across in town just because he's mad at the abusive Sheriff.

  • Somebody already clarified that, look below, and look at my movie reference joke, lol

  • 3:15 shits about to go down!

  • @SuperTB92 HA! HA!...Down to the ground!!

  • This could've been avoided if she would've just said "STEP TO YOUR LEFT!"

  • @ChibisCultClassics But then Chris would've kept trying to ruin her. D:

  • 4:47 P.J Soles Norma said that water was suppost to hit her cheecks instead It broke her eardrum and they had to carried her to dressing room after they shoot this scene. They had to take P.J Soles to the hospital and luckly before she did Halloween her ear got better.

  • I love how they cut out the sound but you can totally tell that Johnny is shouting "WHAT THE HELL?!"

  • @DramaGirl530 XD His name is Tommy.

  • @Angeliclily Lol, sorry, I was too lazy to look it up..... XD

  • @DramaGirl530 S'okay ovo

  • @Angeliclily "It's Tommy!" *ash tray flips

  • @DramaGirl530 LMFAO XDDD

  • @DramaGirl530 You mean Tommy???

  • @DramaGirl530 One of my favorite parts as well. Builds up the suspense. I love how when the bucket spills that blood all over all you hear is the bucket rattling and the splash...then some people saying oooo then just the bucket swinging....nothing else for a while. Very dramatic and creepy.

  • All those people had to die because Kris decided she need to pour pigs blood over Carrie. I mean, I am angry at the kids who made fun of and bullied her, but that doesn't mean they deserve to die. I feel sad for all the kids who died and Carrie...

  • 4:44-4:50

Norma, the one with the baseball cap, that actress, she was actually unconscious when she fell on that table and that hose is spraying all over her head. I think she had a concussion too.

  • @job489 the force of the water roke her ear drum ouch!

  • @TheCarry2010

Is she deaf in that ear now?

  • @job489 i think so ya

  • @TheCarry2010

If she is, I hope she got compensation for that.

  • Jesus Norma how do you have the right to laugh?!?!?!!? you wore a f*cking hat to the senior prom! who in gods name does that!? and not just any hat a baseball cap! TO. THE. PROM!!!!

  • @Sissysicks911 Don't worry, Norma got murdered by Michael Myers 2 years later.

  • this is a lesson to not be f*cking around with people, cause what goes around comes around!

  • thats why i hate girls with blue eyes. hazel eyes are best

  • @epsilontiger hey! im bullied >:(

  • that base ball cap bitch should die

  • How the hell can that Norma girl laugh at her when she has a baseball cap on, and looks like she borrowed her grandma's dress or something. Carrie is 100x prettier than that fugly bitch.

  • @ThisGuyIsClassy sometimes I do =\

  • The lesson is: Don mess ever with a querkie girl, you dont know if she has telekinesis.

  • @Carvintage That is so true...another lesson, don't bully...it's not right...and you never know who might not take it too well

  • How did the place burn up so quick when she sprayed everything with a thousand gallons of water first?

  • That car must have been a Toyota!

    ZING.

  • i love this!

  • i hate that scene just imagine the smell :( i wish she had got a happy ending

  • heyitsmija, thank you for the quality of this upload!! Crystal clear.

  • can't you just imagine how 2:39 and on was written?? in that perfect way King puts the

[They're all gonna laugh at you]

in the middle of sentences, just like thoughts interrupt each other.....

  • @littlestfan that line is'nt in the book it's much more graphic

  • @TheCarry2010

Really??? Awesome, have to get it....

  • I watched this movie when I was around 8. It was so f'ing scary I was seriously trembling all over.

It's still just as scary even though I can handle scary stuff better now.

  • 7:01 must've been a Pinto

  • note to self; don't piss of carrie white..

  • I GUESS GETTING KICKED OUT OF PROM WASN'T SO BAD AFTER ALL.

  • That was beautiful!

  • Sue, miss collins, and tommy are the innocent ones.

  • @pete1210able maybe Ms. Collins here is innocent, but not in the book. There she was pretty much just like the rest of them, only not as jaded.

  • @TCNJHarpist why what was she like and what does jaded mean

  • @07sandrewsworth worn out through overwork, and every other sentence she would think about how much she hated Carrie too.

  • I am soooooooooooooooo happy the fucking cunt, chris and her asshole boyfriend, tommy got what they deserved !

  • @pete1210able it's Billy.,.Tommy was Carrie's date.

  • Where's part 12?

  • i want to punch norma's face

  • @AnonymousIdiott I am.. but just never say that.. ever. Again.

  • I Thing Tommy should have been a survivor! he was actually nice t o her!! :(

  • @illicrazy Well it's not like she killed him, he actually dies from the bucket falling on his head lol

  • They deserve to be trapped in there.

If only somebody was nice to her:if only someone had stood up for her might have never happened.Did everyone really laugh or did she just imagine that??

  • @bereaux94 it was just in her mind. She was thinking about what her mother said to her before Tommy came to pick her up. the only one laughing was Norma.

  • If I could choose a super power... this would be it!!!

  • It's horrifying, very simple but effective. You feel sympathy for Carrie, as it is about bullying

  • ニッポンを冷やそう

  • For a brief moment there, the female teacher is thinking she should have taken that job at West Baltimore High despite that menacing Barksdale kid...

  • LMAO! The bucket fell on Tommy's head that shit was halarious!

  • This movie is really disturbing. The directing is so perfect for a horror movie, even the really tame parts have a very eerie feel to them.

  • XD ROFL!!!! DEADLY FIRE WHOSE

  • 6:20 epic picture . . .

  • tat BITCH she wanted to run over poor carrie

  • i would of killed the howl damn town then i would of watched it burn

  • those kids deserved everything that was coming to them....

  • Awe... and they were all having such a fun time laughing at her until she went telekinetic on their butts!

  • 5:40 sorry but amazing picture...

  • HAHAHAHAHAH Payback from carrie is a bitch!!!! eat it chris!!!!

  • Carrie is my nameee!!! :O omgg

  • Ok I don't get what happened at 3:39 what caused those kids pain???

  • @bubblytar Carrie's telekinesis crushing the doors before they try to leave.

  • i love that all you can hear is the blood dripping,

  • holy crap, carrie's eyes always freak me the hell out in this part, so bad ass. it would have been awesome if she killed everyone, and then got to move to Jamaica or something and lived a happy, normal life, without all the psychological baggage and trauma, but then again it would've been ridiciulous if that's how the movie ended. Oh yeah, and when she walks out of the burning school, holy crap, that's some excellent filmmaking, kudos Depalma

  • those bastards deserved what they got. but she should have saved tommy though. he was sweet to her, and seem to actually like her. he was the only one who was nice to her.

  • @26moonbeam1 I agree! None of these things would have happened if it weren't for the cunts like chris lololol

  • @26moonbeam1 LIKE A BOSS

  • 0:10 Sue Snell's thinking "OH SHIT...."

  • who wears a baseball cap with their prom dress??

  • @ThisGuyIsClassy A bully. A cunt. A retard lol

  • @Fleursdelily amy irving sucks my dick

  • @numase1 Splendid! ¬_¬
