Dayton Contemporary Dance Company: Las Desenamoradas

I had the blessing of dancing for Mr. Pomare for two years about three years before he passed. I will never forget him, and his unique way of communicating with his dancers ;) and is insightful spirit. The man was brilliant and gave me more than I could have ever asked for.

wow... i danced that piece in 2001...eleo pomare was my mentor.. i had the opportunity to dance the lead roles in many of his ballets including "las desenamoradas", "missa luba", "conauga", "black breeze" and "pennyless"

just saw las desenamoradas tonight at page auditorium. absolutely breathtaking. a beautiful dance interpretation of lorca's novel. kudos to all those involved!

I agree. My husband loves the peace, his aunt is Ms. Sparkle with DCDC. I saw it for the first time and was speechless. I could not believe how moving the piece was. *q*
