  • Completely bad-ass bike. Very well done.

  • Freaking gorgeous

  • best bobber on youtube ! that thing is perfect in every way period ! that is the "poster" for bobber !

  • I like the video description:

"I once heard a guy say that his car wasn't a rat ride and that the difference is that a rat ride is unsafe and his car was safe. Well he's a fag. My bike is definitely a rat ride and its probably unsafe but then im a real man and that's what makes it fun."

    Nicely done sir.

  • sic bike!!

  • cool

look this bike "Loud Pipes save lives - Custom Chopper - HOT -"

  • unnötig laut, aber schick...

  • Hey. Awsome ride!!! the best ive seen! Im hoping to build a bike similar to yours, i was wondering if you could give me rough measurements to your frame??

  • Awesome bike man!!! very cool! but its not a bobber its a chopper, because you had to cut the frame and weld it back together.. A+ job though.

  • questo è stile!

  • I am not normaly a fan of the bobbers but I think you did a great job with your bike. I think the look is perfect for the bike.

  • beautiful bike! You obviously did a great job man!

  • Awful sound.

  • back fender needs to be black and loose the white wall

  • I have a Honda shadow ACE and used to own a honda 550, I can appreciate your bike, it is very cool indeed. good on you.

  • Hey Coonwoody what did you use for an oil tank on it? I may just not be looking close enough but I can't see if you have one.

  • I have a 74 Cb 360 and want to do the same thing how much do you have in this bike besides the cost of the bike?

  • Very nice. I would do something with those handlebars though. Drag bars...

  • Gotta love that Suicide Clutch!

  • @starguard How the fu*k...hes got the regular clutch and the shift stick on the same side?? Shifting at speed would mean using your leg in some awkward position to shift or reaching across your body letting go of the throttle??...work in progress??

  • only thing i would do is put on clip ons

  • super nice bike!!

but, how u change up and down the 2,3,4 speed??

  • i just got a 71 cb500 and want to hardtail it how much did u stretch the bike

  • the sound of that bike makes me horrrny !!! -.-

  • dude i love it one of the cleanist honda's i have ever seen

  • you have to change the Gear with your knees? ;D realy cool^^

  • where did you find your rear fender

  • @jamesferra1 he said in the description that he used the front fender as a rear fender

  • the things like a low rider , i wonder if the pipes scrape the ground

  • go springer

    fuckin awesome.

  • what size rims?

  • That thing sounds sick! Good job. My Xs is coming this week. Ya

  • Loud! The neighbor's dog is barking.

  • looks good, but the 4 cyl sound doesn't match the look

  • just modifs&custom forum

  • nice build now ride the wheels off of it !!!

  • tu meke

  • nicest / coolest one ive seen. even sounds mean

  • SICK! :-)

  • Oh man Ive got a lot of questions for you!!!!! VERY NICE BIKE BUD!

  • a very tasty wee bobber. nice work mate

  • that is one beautiful bike.... respect

  • Oh, shit, speed bump! Can't slow down in time! There goes the tailpipe and underside. Break out the rattle can...

  • This

  • I love this bike but i think i would put a tube behind the motor and mount a false oil bag up in the corner of it to do away wit the empty space above the battery otherwise i wouldnt change a thing ( accept the title into my name )

  • Damn Fine Machine, Great work. The description Priceless... I actually dressed Like Yuppy scum one day and when People looked at me I told them.... people Dress like Bikers right?

    Good Riding

  • this is like the way all bobbers should look !

  • nice bike bro, check my cb out.

  • What a Gem ! Nice bike :) :)

  • Sick!!!!!!

  • luv it....would wrather go with drag bars or clubmans. Other then that its great

  • I have a question. If the clutch is on the left, and the shifter is on the left how do you shift when riding? You shift it into first with your leg but how do you get to 2nd, 3rd, etc on the road?

  • @Discolorfull Hence the name " suicide shift " !!! just to illaborate on your question bud.

  • @Discolorfull in one of his other vids he says he uses his leg to get to 1st, but after that shifts clutchless

  • @Discolorfull Mines the same way, I just wind the throttle out and give the shifter a yank. The rear end kicks a little, but you get used to it.

  • @Discolorfull its a jocky shift.if you noticed he hit it with his knee forward to put it in first on the road he would use his hand to pull it backwards to hit the other gears

  • @NOPRT440 so where is the clutch? the reason i ask is because I've ridden a triumph, the clutch is on the right, and I've ridden a bobber with a suicide shit, with the cluth on the foot pedal. I know on honda's the clutch is on the left

  • @Discolorfull U dont need the clutch after its moving, just let up on the gas.

  • @Discolorfull shift without using the clutch.

  • Thats my style right there. Bad ass bike bro!

  • Proof that you can get a sick ride without breaking the bank!!! Great bike!! Hell of alot nicer than the gaudy over the top crap you see costing 50 grand!!! Back in the day and before chopper shows on the discovery channel if a guy wanted a badass bike he built and chopped it himself!! Well you have definately built one sick ass ride!!!!

  • Never seen anyone shift into first with their knee! Beautiful bobber bro.

  • what all did you need to do to get it to look like that

  • dude,... I-LOVE-UR-BIKE !!

  • never been a bobber fan..... until now!

  • Nice build ! Sounds pretty mean !

  • very cool....creative man!

  • You know I am a harley guy but I would LOVE to have a bike like this! Awesome piece of work dude

  • nice sound. How do you shift with a hand clutch and hand shift?

  • Nice machine bro. Its got the drag bike sound with the custom look.

  • This thing is beautiful!

  • OHHH YES

  • I just got a 79' CB650 last night that I plan on chopping. My question to you is: Did you mod the original frame or did you buy an after markey frame? If you did buy an after market frame what are the specs?

  • that thing is so gnarly and so retro.

    tops bike man

  • that's a sweet chop, man i think i just soiled myself 8))

  • Where did you get the gas tank?

  • I love the bike it is beautiful. After i learn to ride this summer im gonna take my 5 years welding / fab experiance and build a bobber / rat. i love it, i love it

  • That is beautyful...

  • beautifully sick...

  • Very cool! Sounds amazing. I built one from a '74 CL 450.

  • cool

  • Thats gotta be hard to shift with the clutch on the bars. You must not use the clutch?

  • beautiful bike!!!

  • nice bike!!!

  • beautiful machine man, and many thanks for the info on the description!

  • nee shifting??

  • nice but you need some apes

  • Ape hangers are for fags!

  • capt. America had ape hangers.

  • dayemmm, sounds like a ferrari!

  • nice bike, check out mine too

  • how much does it cost to build somthing like that?

  • it's too clean to be a rat i think. For me rat bike is something that wears it's history with pride, no unnecessary parts, no shiny bits, just a running bike, kept alive using just DIY, witch looks like it has been taken out of a bin ;] Still, good job, nice bobber. All the best man,

  • sounds sweet for an old 550. wish i could get my 450 to sound like that. let me guess, straight pipes, no baffles.

  • I would have sex withthat bike every night if it was mine...

  • @171apples171 better yet go get some pussy with that magnet. Nice build much props!

  • @conspiracyquality damn straight:D

  • @171apples171 tmi

  • @gregt37 RIGHT INTO THE INTAKE ON THOSE CARBS.. she likes it in cylinder 2:D just don't accidentally snap that throttle closed while you member is in there. You'll get a diaphragm needle stuck in where the sun don't shine.

  • Where do you buy the rear frame kits to make a bobber?

    Nice bike by the way.

  • @roblickman its a hell of alot cheaper to weldon the frame yourself. sometimes, if your on a budget, you can you the rear frame that you cut off to weld onto the sway arm. but if your looking for the kit you could try google-ing it?

  • it s a great bike and you did a good job.

  • awsome bike..

  • Who cares, its a bad ass bike

  • why is it called a bobber?

  • hard tail and NOT STRETCHED therefor it is not a chopper (stock front end)

  • @jojothebanjoman touche my good man

  • Comment removed

  • @tenrazo215

BECAUSE when one rides it one will bob up and down like one is riding a sausage.

  • @watanabehefuml you just made more sense then Bush! which isn't too hard... but congrats! LOL

  • @dylanpawl

    thankyou sir

  • I was told it comes from "bobtail" all the gear taken off the rear with a solo seat, and the front left stock. I'm not 100% but it makes sence. They look ace, especially the hard tails! I'm hoping to have a play with my old cx500 see how she turns out.

  • @anotherzombi hope she turns out nice ;)

  • have to agree with the kitchenguy down here...sound is inappropriate for this bike if you ask me. Sounds like a 4-barrel?

  • Pfft...

  • Looks cool, sounds like a rice rocket's exhaust fell off. Too fast an idle, and too many carbs.

  • haha you're right, sound is ugly as fuck on this machine

  • Holy S**T !! I Just about craped myself,When you started it up,Wow GREAT sound from a 550.Love how you stayed with the chrome wheels,They Always look better than the alum mags,Awsome Look,Sound,Its a 10 im my book....

  • i think it sounds pretty cool

  • Great info thanks, how do i make sure i line her up straight?

  • niceee. whats the fastest you've gone on it?

  • LOOKS COOL ,SOUNDS LAME.........

  • does not sound like a grass cutter

  • great bike! just became interested and thus obsessed with this rat style bobber bikes. Ended up buying a 72 750 today, started reading about these bikes a week ago. I have no experience! What advice can you give me for building something similar to this? I have helper friends, but they wont help me unless I have an idea of what im talking about, good friends. I think the main questions i have deal with adding the hard tail...

  • I love the scooter, bro- The look is simple and clean, and I'm bettin' it gets a lot of compliments...

One question- How much did you stretch the frame when you made it a rigid?

I'm getting ready to start on my '81 CX500 and looking for ideas- It's awesome that there are so many sweet bikes on Youtube, I spend a lot of time looking at them- 5/5

    Ride on, Brutha!

  • Tough as fuck. Well done!

  • The sportster tank adds a good touch.

  • very nice man! 5 stars for you!!

  • Looks OK except for the big open space under the seat.

  • Thats the best part! nice and clean. if you want a compartment get a car

  • Thats my point it is a compartment, You can carry groceries there. Other than that the old skool style is kool.

  • cool sohc/4. been over to the sohc/4 forum? oh, and was the spoke company buchanans? and kudos to doing the work on your own, no small task!

  • love it!

  • Agh!

  • I'm not a huge fan of Hondas but that is one wicked Bobber

  • no F....way this is a masterpiece.

  • Thank you very much for the comment !

  • @jucamo007 I totally agree. The stance and proportions are perfect!

  • wow, you probably think harley's are actually made in america too. rofl. go learn how to do something except troll the comments on youtube.

  • you would call it shit because thats all that comes out of your mouth SHIT!

  • looks sick!

looking forward to building mines this winter. any advice? was looking to get a SOHC CB750 and building her up. just didnt want it to have a high profile.

  • Oh !!! that shifter!!!! Cooooooool

  • Where did you get n 18" rear white wall? i cant find one, only front

  • Great looking bike but why put all that work into a honda?

  • wicked bike man. i did the same thing with a 72 cb750 but i left the swing arm their. had about 600 into it. buildin a 75 750 frame up this winter.

  • "I once heard a guy say that his car wasn't a rat ride and that the difference is that a rat ride is unsafe and his car was safe. Well he's a fag" - Great comment

  • people dont know the differece between a rat rod, hotrod kustom, bellflower exc.ratrod is a new name given to cars and trucks usually older than 1950 that is put together with anything you could find a hotrod is a period coorect car that is made traditionally made ,like a ratrod would have newer style seats motor, suspension hotrod would have flatheads stock suspenion exc.just cause a car truck is flat black does not make it a ratrod.i see this name thrown around alot .see movie BACK FROM THE DEAD

  • qyue me flata verguenza?¿?

    q queres decir ?

  • nice bobber man cool!!!!!!!!!

  • rad. i found an '81 that i'm planning to do the same thing to.

  • That bike is beautiful!!

  • Rock On !

  • beautiful

  • nice english style bobber like it

  • Woah. that sounds really nice.

  • I just brought a cb550 home, and pulled it down, siezed on #1 piston, but standard bore and clean bottom end, 250 bucks, wish me luck! solodog. ps love your bobber, great engine note.

  • Sounds just like mine. It's been sitting for 10 yrs and the number 4 was siezed TIGHT. I bought new jugs and a piston on ebay, saving for a headgasket.

And i only paid 150 bucks haha

  • Building my first bike out of a 74 honda cb200. I don't think I'm going to hardtail it. But your bike is definitely an inspiration for nearly everything else. Can you explain how you used the sportster tank? Did you use a harley petcock or a honda or aftermarket?

  • hey man!!!!this engine is a 500 four of honda...nice noise!!!

i want to build a bobber with a cb450´s engine.

    well done.

  • is that an after market rear end

  • nope home made

  • was thinking of starting a project with my 13 year old so he has a cool bike for high school. just looking around to see what can be done nice look bike yours is one of my fav on the internet and advice on what kind of bike to jet was leaning towards a honda

  • I like how there's that big old open hole above the battery, makes the bike look lightweight, minimalistic, and airy.

  • Hey thanks for the comment. Thats what I like about these Honda 550's. They dont have an oil tank so theres all that room.

  • that is a beautiful piece of craftmenship,i hope my build is a quarter as nice as this, parts for custom choppers in the uk are slim though :( :(

  • Hey thanks for the comment

  • wow........stupenda!!!!!!!

  • Where Do yo get seats like That one?

  • I think the place was called deamons cycles online

  • Awesome bike !!!

  • very nice man

  • Awesome! Good Job!

  • nice bike bro! check mine out. im looking to put some apes on it. check it out

  • Awesome thanks for the comment. I totally agree and good luck with the bike.

  • By far the best Honda bobber on youtube, sounds nuts! love the wheels and the shifter. Building a Suzuki GS750 myself now, Harley people are going to hate me...have a NEW Harley 883 sportster tank that I will use on my Suzuki, just have to get it painted so I dont get killed by the Harley guys. I love bikes, all kinds and If someone loves bikes like I do, you wont piss on something that someone build... not bought.
