I tell everyone that he is a Chicago man and I was born and reared there as well. He was old enough to be my father but the impact he left on our community still lingers. We grew up not far from each other, his bother dated my neighbor. Such a sweet Chicago sound... what a guy and what talent. I still remember the news of his death. My sister was crying..and to this day no one really knows what happened to our musical hero who carried himself so well!...
