  • is that engine internals stock..?? did you run that supercharger on stock pistons ?

  • @jsj221991 All stock and still running!

  • @stwatson oh nice!!! i have a stock b20b and if I put a turbo setup for about 5 psi.. nothing will happen right?

  • @jsj221991 My motor is a K20 series motor. I am not familiar with the B20 series. You should ask someone with the same motor to see what it can handle.

  • @stwatson oh oke.. i'm about to swap my em1 with a k20.. the b20b is on my crv,.. anyways thanx.

  • cool video...

  • i was wondering if you happen to know (or anyone for that matter) if its possible to supercharge an automatic rsx type S. Cuz i just got a an '02 type S and im still a beginner in cars but tryin to learn.

  • @HurricaneCris33 Lol you probably got d*cked, cuz their are no RSX TYPE S that are automatic...all rsx type s are stick shift lol

  • @gussy1018 well i did notice the rsx has the "type S" sign a little bit crooked, i imagine he crashed the car then and got a trunk lid with a type S sign on it or he put it on himself to BS me, it has like a manumatic transmission called tiptronic or touchshift i think it is.

  • Dude I friggin LOVE this video. I have a bone-stock 02 ABP -S that I use to commute but I guy can dream....

  • Nice dude!

  • which mods on this car is illegal? lmao xD

  • which mods on this car is illegal? lmao xD

  • Sti weighs a lot more and more drivetrain power loss. I'm not really worried about 0-60 times as much as 1/4 mile trap speeds. I would be even with a 450whp sti on the highway which is where I do most of my "messing around".

  • my sti got to 450 with less money spent And I am around 4,1 sec 0-60, How is it? looking to upgrade few more things and stop at around 500hp

  • thats one lil beast u got there

  • holy.jesus.

  • whats your best 1/4 with this car?

  • @slayerdearly

So far 13.0 at 111mph. Got an aftercooler and upgraded meth system and looking to hit 12's soon.

  • @stwatson thats cool :)

  • is it worth to supercharge a base auto rsx? just getting curious cuz i wanna buy a rsx or a wrx

  • @aliennationyo i heard you cant supercharge a base. Not sure if its true though. Go to clubrsx.com

  • Oops haha. I read wrong

  • Wix’s Tuner Directory. Has Tons of high quality low cost auto parts for any car. They have special discounts and links to sites that have a lot of car parts at low prices and its totally free.

Just type "Wixs tuner Directory" into Google to go to site

  • That's amazing :')

  • beautiful

  • Damn dude. You're revving it to 9000 on stock internals? Ya fuckin crazy.

  • Nice Ride, I just got a 06 type-s and want to upgrade, Ur video gave me some ideas, Thankx !!!

  • sick car. exactly what i want to do to my type s

  • This car is a sleeper!

  • Awesome, awesome video. Great work on the car man. She's beautiful and I'm sure a freakin' blast to drive.

  • one day

  • thats a badass rsx man...

  • Nice Bro about time someone ignores the look and actually moves to the real business.. POWER!!

  • nice set up.

  • i love sleepers :D

  • hey i have a 2006 rsx type-s how many inches do you recommend for the strait pipe

  • I'm SO glad I came across this video. I've been thinking about Supercharging my type-s rather then turbo charging, and I think this pretty much has made up my mind on going through with going super. Very sweet vid bro!

  • @Cyty DONT DO ITTTTT a turbo will be much faster than a blower especially in a i4 just get like a greddy turbo

  • @robertgel22...people like you crack me up. I have raced SEVERAL greddy kits on Civics and RSX's and I have trashed them all. If you're going turbo, get a fullrace or peakboost...then it will be worth it.

  • Wow nice, with all that under the hood and the car still looks completely stock.

  • thank you for building a car and bragging about it instead of buying it built or having someone else build it and bragging about it >.< lol

  • Stock*

  • Did u use the stick internals?

  • amazing...:O

  • can u do this with an integra?

  • is it still good for everyday driving?

  • dopeness!

  • Comment removed

  • do you like the dc header and is it a noticeable difference

  • what did you run in the 1/4 against that honda?

  • you know what i think its cool, on the outside ur car looks stock but on the inside ur care is a beast n many people today judge cars on how they look n when they pull up next to you u just blow the fuck away

  • GREAT video man! Love the progression pics added with videos from start to finish. Very well done. I drive a nice Integra now and have been seriously looking at moving up to an RSX soon myself. Great job on the car, love your choice of mods, almost exactly the way I would want to go with an RSX.

  • no joke you did EXACTLY what i dream of what I did to my car, same color and all haha. Would you recommend me saving up for a tranny + k20 swap first considering i have the base auto (mommy bought it) or just start scratch wit a type S? Much props again my i love this

  • done the right way!

  • *claps*

I like how its stock and a sleeper... they're wondering what the whining noise is.. haha

  • clean car bro

  • nice vid and great song now that u have all that poer u should style it up like somr rims n watever

  • Kick ass...LOL!

  • shit

  • sleeper status

  • Wow that is just an amazing car man. The RSX is definitely a beautiful car stock and now it's just simply amazing. One question though, is it automatic or manual?

  • thats so sick u were able to capture the first moments of modding your car to the very end

    congrats man!

and great job for working on your car yourself

nothing better than fixing up your own car

  • hows the mpg

  • nice vid what the hp and 1/4 mile time.

  • that supercharger sounded so damn awesome!

  • sick setup bro.. i got about 2 years til i graduate from college and buy my 06 type s. been waiting for like 3 years now and got a lil time left haha.. goin almost the same exact setup when i get it. how is the alcohol injection? can you run on regular pump gas or will shit get messed? im tryin to get about 11 psi to start

  • that was the rsx base? basically turned out alot faster than the type s

  • BOOST > SUPER FAGGGET MUHAHAHA

  • how much did all of the performince items cost

  • @baryboi1997 supercharger = $2400 DCRH = $450 Exhuast = $500 Intake = $150 K-pro = $980 Clutch = $500 Injectors = $400 Methanol Injection = $280 Blower Pulley = $100 Motor Mounts = $300 Misc parts = $500 Around $6500 for where I am now...which is 14psi, methanol injected and looking to hit 340whp.
  • woah come to were i live you will have all the asian girls in your pocket lol haha

  • @stwatson

    pt.2

else that i should get? and do you think my 6 grand will be enough? how about the tuning with the charger and kpro? as for as putting the parts in i work at a gas station/ automotive center and im cool with the mechanics here so i can have them put the basic bolt ons/charger on for cheap. is there anything else i should be aware of? i want the power but not to the point where nothing major goes wrong, dude if you could help me and give me some of your advice id appreciate it.

  • @stwatson

dude your type s is amazing bro... i am only hoping mine will turn out like yours. i just have some ?'s for you that id appreciate your advice on. ive been saving up for the past couple months and will have about $6,000 to spend on modding. im getting the injen cai, dc stainless rh & energy mounts and greddy ti-c 70mm. i want to get the jrsc too along with kpro and get it tuned but not that agressivly bc it will be mostly an everyday driver. along with these mods is there anything

  • @suckuhhballbag420 you need to check out club rsx online. There are TONS of people that can help you and LOTS of information about how to mod the car. Check out the supercharged *chat* thread and usually you're questions will get answered in a few minutes. Just make sure you search for stuff thats already been answered...which most of your questions you've asked here have. I have the same user name on there if you have questions

  • @stwatson

hahaha shit bro that was fast... thanks i'll check it out, and by the way... how is she running nowadays?

  • @suckuhhballbag420 If I pony up the money for the tires she would be a 12 second car.

Going to the dyno here soon and looking to hit 330-340whp. 14psi of boost, 19gallons per hour of methanol injection, and a full custom 2.5" exhaust.

  • sexy car like the celica but faster!

  • damn wat a beast

  • Sick rsx im thinking about getting one. Why did you go with a supercharger, instead of turbo? I would like to get one, and turbo it. thanks.

  • Ahhh finally a tuned car without the added rice. Nice ride!

  • Jackson racing supercharger is a winner! Fuck turbo. hondas need low end torque and this is the best way to do it.

  • aye dude im getting my rsx soon, can u give me advice to customize my rsx, interior, and other good stuff? cus im barely driving lool

  • I'm a Mustang guy but I also love tuners that are done right and not riced out and man you have got one badass car here. I like the sleeper look, then you hear the scream from the roots blower and thats all she wrote lol. nice car man

  • yo i like wat u did to ur car im trying the same thing but i dont no where to get a supercharger. where did u get urs?

  • fuckin sickk ass rsx

i frknn love it one day mine will be up to that i just got my baby today please help what do i need to do to get started

  • sweeet

  • how much money did you spend from stock till finish project? an estimate

  • 2:53 Fuckin Monster

  • What is ur stock hp and the modded hp like

  • nice car but that lincoln let off right before the gear change :)

  • I'm thinking of supercharging my 2004 rsx-s. Is it ok for daily driving? Do you need to get more frequent oil changes?

  • hey guys i hv a question i jst bought my 06 RSX-S n im trying to find a good intake for it can anyone help me out ??

  • Dawg nice way to spend a couple grand u need like a 30lbs turbo mayb like 34mm

  • Why were ur headers so much different for youre car. i have a 2002 type s and the dc sport 421 headers looked like my stock ones not a long peice like urs

  • @andrewpustay08 his are race headers...i have ths exact same ones as him....the race headers are longer and eliminate the cats.

  • how much horsepower dose it have stock?

  • what a SLEEPER!!! what would you think is better turbo or supercharge? and what is the maximum psi you could go without blowing the motor and running a safe setup.

  • dude this is amazing. i love it. I have a G5 GT with all Cobalt SS Supercharged body additions, exhaust and hopefully a injen intake here soon for some more engine sound, but it's nothing compared to this beast. Nice nice work man. sounds and looks amazing.

  • at 1:45 u have a cel is that from the rh?

  • @Jasonanda7x yea it is man...i have the same headers and the same thing happened to me...what happens is the engine thinks that something is wrong with the cat bc the headers eliminate them...if you get a k-pro it will turn it off.

  • This azure ride really pulled it off. Amazing how much you can do without actually painting too much stuff. (source of idea: carz/.com). I am interested to learn how you did it right.

  • Nice job dude you should check out my ladys ride

  • did you know how much you gained with your k pro, intake, exhaust ,and headers? Thats pretty much all i want to mod on my rsx. Thanks for the info!!

  • hey did you install the supercharger yourself or took it to the shop?

  • I did the install myself

  • hey nice build im trying to do the same thing some what i have and aem V2 intake....magnaflow exhaust...and dc race headers....

I was wondering if you got the check engine light to turn off after putting on the race headers? or did you just ignore it?

  • Yes you get the CEL with a race header. K-pro can turn that off or use a defouler. check out club rsx online for more information on that!

  • haha hell yeah, CRSX FTMFW! That reminds me, I need to make a new Youtube account, I haven't owned a GSR in a while :P@stwatson

  • I must say that is some kick ass piece of automotive art. I had a 05 type s modded with turbo but some F***** stole it

  • hey how much HP gain did you get your car without the supercharger??? I wanted to mod my rsx with just intake, headers, and exhaust.. just something simple! tHANKS!

  • never dyno'd the car without the supercharger, but I would say it was around 210whp with the bolt ons (intake, header, and exhaust)

  • @stwatson are you retard? 210whp with bolt ons? no.

  • @DFPFTW Lol...yea. Im a retard. If it makes you happy the car was probably around 205whp. And yes...that is possible.

But now to make you look like an idiot...because thats much easier. Sitting there behind your computer commenting on a 5-10whp difference which is EASILY found between Dyno A and Dyno B is absolutely pathetic. Yea...Im a retard...I've only pushed the innovative envelope of potential with this blower, now hitting 330whp. Go screw your own face.

  • that is on sick ride you got there. This is exactly what i want to do to my rsx. Do you think it was a good idea to start with the cai and other mods and then move onto the supercharger later?

  • yes...build your basic bolt ons first (header, exhaust, intake) then move on to boost.

  • hey wats up wats really the difference between the R type nd the S type this video made it clear i should cop n rsx

  • They are almost exactly the same. Same engine, just a few cosmetic things. The Type-R is japan's version of the U.S. Type-S.

  • @TheHurstworld96 there are significant differences between type r and type s. the type r is only sold in japan as the Honda Integra. the type r has 220hp while the rsx type s has 200.

  • this is a hard rsx one day mine will be like yours

  • what's you 0-60 time bro?

btw, i just got a black RSX-S and hope to do about the same thing you did to yours. can you give me a rough estimate on the cost?

  • When I did mine the kit was cheaper but I had to go through a lot more troubles to get it to where I am now.

Now however, the price of the kits have gone up, but there are fewer problems as all of the previous problems have been solved.

Either way I think you are looking at spending $5-6 for EVERYTHING. Exhaust, Intake, Race Header, K-pro, Supercharger, Injectors, Clutch, and other misc. parts. Go to ClubRSX online and talk to everyone there.

    P.S. - 0-60 is 4.5 seconds (ish)

  • $5-6 thousand...

    Oooops :)

  • thanks man. that's really helpful.:) you gonna add any exterior mods? bumpers, rims, spoiler, etc.?

  • What HP you pushing??

  • at 7psi with this video I was pushing 280whp. Now I have upped the boost to 11psi + methanol injection and I am seeing 320whp. I am in the process of upping the boost again to 15psi and looking 350whp. HOPEFULLY I can break into the 12 second 1/4 mile with street tires, however I am looking for a 115+mph at the track. Right now at 11psi I have run a 13.2 at 111mph on street tires. Hope that answers your question:)

  • @Pawandeep211, water on your engine isn't the greatest, but it will become a big problem if it gets into your air filter.

  • Now just get some wheels... I have the same car... no spoiler... with ep3 champ white type r wheels... and type r black housing HID's... and type r lip...aem v2 and axel back... I wish my car was that fast... Good shit...

  • Water+engines= not a good idea.

    Just saying. Keep it dry

  • hope you spent the $0-$100 to get the ecu matched after putting 5k in the car.

  • that and some...

    no worries here

    :)

  • that is great. i love my type s ;)

  • man thats sick

  • great car....uve inspired me :-)

although i was thinking a imitation turbo from china

  • fucking sick.

    i'm jealous.

    nice car bro.

  • Pretty sweet ride. Hope I can get to work on a car as hard as you have. I have only gone as far as dc sport headers and an injen cai

  • nice work twatson, this really shows how much work you put in

  • why supercharge? turbo would be more efficient and easier to tune

  • if you can find a turbo that puts down 300whp for $5000 (including ECU, exhaust, header, injectors, intercooler pipes, motor mounts,, oil return lines, and all the other needed parts for a turbo to work) then yea...I'll acknowledge your comment. Please tell me how a turbo is easier to tune??? Have you EVER dealt with tuning cam angles, ignition values, and fuel ratios based off of the extremely variable torque curves of a turbo? Come on...do some research and you'll find out why people S/C.

  • your supercharge kit complete only cost you 5000$ ????

  • no...the supercharger only cost me $2400...lol. The ECU, exhaust, injectors, and other misc parts added up to around $5000

  • excellent choice of song, BADASS RSX!

  • Must say one clean rsx

  • wats ur dyno run?

  • This is all you put in your car to supercharge it?? shit hekkka nice man love you car

  • Love the video, you can actually see HP gains throughout the video as you get some pulls in. I drive an RX8 but have lots of love for the Acura/Honda community, keep up the good work.

  • Awesome! A SC K20A2 is fun :D

  • nice man i love my DC5 as much i love My DC2 keeping them both for as long as i can

  • Heck ya stwatson. Hummerbum16 checkin in!

  • Real Nice buddy. Im researching into putting the JRSC into my ep3 and this video just gave me another reason to do it..those K20's intake sound mean...even the low rev k20a3.

  • holy fuck 2:55 my balls just shrank

  • 2:04 - 2:10 sick

  • How much did this all cost cha ?

  • 5 grand +

  • Supercharger sounds sick. Awesome RSX. I have an RSX, too, but mine is almost completely stock.

  • Mighty Nice

  • nice bro. what did you run at the trck with the supercharger? im thinking of going that route since boost is too expensive =x

  • thats sick dude....i own an rsx too....love it!!!

  • is that with stock internals??

  • yes

  • very nice... red out tail lights black out head lights, go wingless or get a better one, drop , tires, and rims and mugen mugen mugen loll

  • nice build

  • that really is a respectable rsx, good job!

  • I have to say I am impressed I am going turbo route with my car though, Must admit it does sound killer

  • you need blackouts badly...

  • all type-s's are manual.

  • That's one respectable RSX

  • fucken sick.... i want to sc my rsx... so whos the traction with 315-320whp?

  • outstanding! dude i got to tell you that i want a car exactly like yours! but i haven't found one u.u

i would even like to make the same mods but i only have one question

why you decided to get a supercharger instead of a turbo?

  • Supercharger kits cost around $4,000.00 for the High Quality race Jackson Racing Supercharger. A HKS Garrett Turbo kit will cost you the same, but you'll have to spend another $4,000.00 to prep your engine and internals to handle the power. Superchargers only come on when you put enough throttle power on, Turbo is always on. Superchargers are also better for the street and gas wise. Unless your making a monster, get a supercharger.

  • You have it backwards about s/c and turbos. A s/c is what is always on, since it is run from a pulley off the motor (which itself causes drag and loss of power, only to be counteracted by the forced induction). Whether you are at 2000 rpm or 9000 rpm, supercharger is on.

Turbo is based on exhaust. Hit the gas lightly, there is minimal exhaust, so little to no boost. Hard, lots of exhaust, full boost.

Both are great applications though, no doubt. But s/c will def cost more in gas.

  • superchargers don't necessarily use more gas. you can drive without activating the s/c. all you have to do is lightly throttle the car while driving.

  • Wrong. LOL please link me to this magic supercharger you refer to. Superchargers are BELT driven, meaning, just like everything else belt driven on your car, they're running from the second you start the car. If the engine is turning over, the pulley is spinning. Although for most models, all other pulley driven accessories have built in clutches, but a supercharger does not.

Turbo's however usually take a minimum amount of rpm to produce sufficient boost...

  • You are WRONG to assume that the amount of energy required to do this is significant. You can spin the blower pulley with your pinky finger with no effort...its only at WOT and redline you will see the "parasitic" loss from the blower. You are also wrong because you are overlooking the fact that this blower comes with a bypass valve installed. What this means is that even though the blower is spinning, it is NOT compressing air. My gas mileage increased with the blower...go figure.

  • @skater4life101101 Very well said and I couldnt agree more. I think the s-charger is a great idea if you are wanting performance without killing your car. Much more practical all-around unless you got tons of money and are wanting to build a monster... and arent worried about your car lasting long.

  • That's a really cool video. music was a little loud and wanted to hear ur car better but ur RSX is sweet. Got a cardomain?

  • I have since upgraded to 11psi instead of 7 and added alcohol injection. I also added a custom 2.5" exhaust to allow for more flow. I went to the dyno before the exhaust and put down 310whp. with the exhaust I am looking for another 5-10whp so I would ballpark around 315-320whp from what I have.

Have not had a chance to track 11psi. I should be looking at a high 12 second 1/4 mile at 115mph. These are my "estimates" but they should be pretty close.

    Thanks for the comments!
