I am still kicking myself... wondering what made Michael Hutchence so obsessed with PAULA YATES. I am female... maybe that is why I am not able to see why he could have been so attracted to her. To me Paula & Michael just seem like an unlikely pair -maybe the deep attraction & hype was just created in the press and tabloids then continuously peddled?

@5954ldydi Well, he loved her. Andy Gill, friend of Michael, said that love songs for Paula "just poured out of him". Few of them are on his solo album, for example "She flirts for England" or "Let me show you". Michael also talk with his manager, Martha, and cry, that he just wants to be with Paula, nothing else and why papers are so hateful (in her own words). Oh, theres a lot more, he loved her - but one who was obsessed was Paula, in my opinion. R.I.P both.

I was one of those little kids who love "The Locomotion". I remember seeing her on an 80's Nickelodeon talk show called "Don't Just Sit There". She had a huge kid following.
