I loved Spy Kids 1-3 as a kid. Spy Kids 4 was the most dissapointing film in the world. Not one the worst but very dissapointing. THIS MOVIE SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!.
Red State was pretty good in my opinion. I was a HUGE step in the right direction after Cop Out. I liked the new Spy Kids. Not the best in the franchise, but I thought it was fun and it kinda got me feeling like a kid again in the theater.
~Since I havent seen Jack & Jill or Sucker Punch....the worst film this year for me is Red Riding Hood which is the worst werewolf movie I have ever seen & its terrible because Gary Oldman was so wasted in this movie~
Good list dude! Just Go With It is the only movie I seen on that list and it's a guilty pleasure. That doesn't mean I'll see Jack and Jill, Zookeeper {I seen Paul Blart, that was dumb} or Spy Kids 4. I hardly see bad movies on the big screen because I watch a lot of reviews, if I hear a movie I want to see is bad like Jack and Jill, I avoid it and no I'm not bragging.
What I really I mean really hated about Sucker Puch was the fact that a sexual assault of a guy's own daughter was in a slow motion montage with rock music pounding in the background, which is just wrong on sooooooo many levels. Disgusting.
I need to see the Mechanic . What the hell is Beastly ? Glad I missed it. I still haven't seen Sucker Punch. I had heard he got Superman due to that film.I haven't seen Smith's "Red State" yet.Kevin Smith just makes crappy comedies that make money weirdly lol. The poster is likely the best possible thing from the Conan remake. Never saw any of the Spy Kids flicks. So I know I was saved from a bad one like the 4th. Great list of films.
Great list but it would be hillarious if you made a tribute of your worst Movies of the year along with The Roots' theme (extended version, please) "Lyin' Ass Bitch" (see: the intro of Michelle Bachmann on Jimmy Fallon). Oh well, a man can dream.
Anyway, great list and about Red State, I agree with your points but you've got to give credit to Michael Parks's performance, he was truly excellent, the rest meh.
@rodri17698 You know I actually debated making a tribute to the worst, but then I got the thought that when you're dealing with movies like this, they don't really deserve one. But on Red State, I did think Michael Parks was solid in his role, but then rest of that film is a whole different story imo.
@CaliCriticReviews I'm happy for you that you haven't seen Bucky Larson. It is horrible: Writing, direction, acting and Nick Swardson is unbearable. The movie is on the number 1 spot of Worst movie of the year, while Jack and Jill, number 2 but pretty close to be number 1.
So yeah, DO NOT SEE BUCKY LARSON! By saying that to you, I've just felt like I saved a human life.
Baily Madison is actually a great actor... but, I have never seen Just Go With It, so I can't say anything. I was surprised that you said that. Nothing against you though, I was just shocked.
@CaliCriticReviews Wow. Thank you for responding! I heard that she did outstanding in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Also, I saw the trailer for Just Go With It and Bailey did have an annoying part. Again, this was not supposed to offend you. Thanks!
1. The Smurfs 2. Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star 3. Shark Night 3D 4. Rubber 5. Big Momma's Like Father Like Son 6. Hoodwinked 2 7. Priest 8. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close 9. Colombiana 10. Sucker Punch Dishonorable Mentions: The SItter, Happy Feet Two, and Paul
Great list man :D I'm working on mine now ;) Even though I loved Red State (call me a fanboy all you want) and I like Sucker Punch solely as a teenage boy
I'm so glad I skipped a lot of the bad ones this year. My least favorite of 2011 is definitely Conan, but if I saw more of these movies, my pick would probably be different.
The only one on the list that I've seen is Red State. Thankfully, I avoided all of those terrible movies. As you know, the first time I saw Red State, I enjoyed it, but whenever I think about it, I like it less and less. I'd give it like a 3 out of 10 now. Its definitely going to be on my top 10 worst of the year list.
WHAT! I loved Shark Night 3D but it's your opinion so I guess you don't like it:(

@3lm0sw0rld65 I think the annoying character she had to play was the main reason why I said that. She was okay in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark though.
