hey ive copied more or less exact what you have on the es2 and it just doesnt sound deep enough plus quite distorted but i have the distortion exactly how u do? HELP PLEASE! THE SYNTH SOUNDSS SOOOO GOOD haha :-)
Hi mate, im doin the exact same thing as you, but i dont get any sound out of it! sounds like its muted. It is anything special or important i need to notice? I love your tutorials!
hi all. could someone tell me a few chords and how to create dubby? because I want to make an album of deep house and I want a couple of ideas. thanks to all
Hey how's it goin' man, I was wondering.... Will you ever make tutorials on recording Vocals for electronica? Female Vocals that sound very dreamy, like in Armin and Kaskade songs.... I'd pay for these tutorials if you ever made them. I really enjoy your videos, you're very thorough and you explain yourself perfectly for us still learning. Have a good one! Cheers.
@whoabrian Hmmm... Well I like that style a lot too. I was considering making a pack on general mangling and processing to create "organic electronic" textures. I have a friend with a recording studio and another who is an awesome female jazzy vocalist... I'm thinking maybe a combined acapella-sample and tutorial pack!
@soundsLogical Awesome. That sounds like it could be a very informative and practical pack. I'm very interested in learning how to add the proper delays and reverbs (fx) to a vocal and how to get it to fit into the mix properly.
@soundsLogical Pleaseee do this man! You would make me so happy :) You have the best your tutorials online and awsome ES2 patches also analog sampler pack is brilliant. Iv'e purchase almost everything you've released. Thank you for all you extremely informative videos. You've basically been my teacher since I started making music a year ago. You are Unreal mate great job
@ST34D3RZ1 Yep I have, don't own a copy though. Used it on a mate's computer. It's fat 8) but I prefer to stick to Logic stuff for these vids so everyone can follow them.
@Gudasonen It's because the default source is LFO1, and you can't use that LFO to modulate envelope parameters.
To work around this, you have to select any target (doesn't matter which, e.g. Pitch 1), then select a valid source (e.g. Mod Wheel), then go back to the targets list and you'll see that Env3 is now available.
amazing tutorial man thanks a lot!!! keep it up!!! happy new year!

@Erzbergender
the perfect sound isn't made with a synth alone use some plugins to make it delicious especially with the es2

Bloody brilliiant mate. I've been playing with the ES2 for these sorts of sounds for quite some time so it's good to see another blokes approach.

This Video is amazing.
You explained everything perfectly.
Your voice isnt annoying or boring like other people on youtube.
Do you do lessons in the ES2 or Logic?
Where abouts in the UK are you? :)
