  • Its a shame the tribal spirit worldwide is slowly suffocated by urban loud repetitive nonsense and clubbing etc. yet unless we end being arrogant hateful humane beings that we are, it won't reverse into the beautiful landscapes and busy lifestyles :I

  • I saw Geronimo in the form of a sylph in the clouds, the rain came and afterwards it was beautiful fresh air and nature in its full glory! No more chemtrails and toxic spew. God is in all of us and the only truth is infinite love. The American Indians were and are the stewards of this earth as is all of humanity.

  • @ munitsher I agree they have infiltrated our people so they can point their fingers at a darker native, so they can sey that they are the original indians. We are still being robbed!

    Chief eagle spirit dancing.

  • @pigeonshyt Dark and light are all part of our infinite conscious, no hate or evil thoughts needs to be associated with them, only our perception. We as a collective of wide ranging humans, should embrace each other with love and truth, no more hate because of illusions of difference, infinite conscious is what we are, it is what I am and you are. Lets not the reptilian mind set of divide and conquer keep us apart.

  • TThe art is unfortunate. The women look flagrantly European... it is overwhelmingly disappointing to see the infiltration of European idealism. Let’s see some real Native American art...instead of these fantasy women in pelts. love the music!!

  • All thumbs up!!! Im dancing a warpath as we speak!!!

  • google the Cherokee Nation rolls. You should be able to find a link to the various lists the Cherokee keep of those who are registered with the tribe.

It's possible your grandfather registered. If he did, you will open up a lot of records that will help you find your heritage.

  • I really enjoy this song. Could anyone tell me what it about though?

  • proud to be Cherokee

  • Thank you.It reminds me of the days long ago when I had a pet eagle and she would let me feed her chicks and I had a white wolf named Misty.Very beautiful music...Brings light to my spirit....Thank you...

  • This is beautiful. It breathes in my spirit.I cry.I can.t find who I am,because all my family is dead. But I know my grandfather was born in Georgia in the 1880s to a Cherokee woman, and I am to poor to find out anything, but the Native American spirits are with me.And God's Great Spirit is with me.I am happy living alone under a tree,by a river, with my dogs and all the animals are my friends.I am free.

  • VERY VERY IMPORTANT!! Does ANYBODY know what the man says in Native language between 1.50 and 2.15?? Please please, if someone understands or know, pleas write it to me! Thank you very much! I would appreciate if someone translated that some sentence to me too. BUt it would be very important to me to see that text written down what the man says! You know I'm Hungarian and I don't understand Thank you very very much!

  • hi, i am in love with the native american culture, even though i am scottish, i have always been fanticed with any thing to do with native americans since i was very young ( i am 15 years old) i was wondering is there any way to know if i was native american in a past life because i strongly feel i was, if someone can help please mail me and i will be happy to answer any questions if needed. x

  • That is just...BEAUTIFUL! I know that "A-La-Ke" means "to hug" or something similar to that. It almost sounds enigmatic while at the same time serving a big purpose. Makes me think of my family...

  • What a beautiful and enchanting piece of music - captivating and ethereal! Art images/facial expressions speak a silent language onto themselves. Absolutely love it!

  • Guardiano del nostro cuore. Limite intransitabile per le potenze oscure.

  • my native uncle has learned one important thing we choctaw need to remember one thing: Never forget who you realy are and who you ancestor's where, never forget how america used to be.

  • An alternative 'label' for this most Wonderful Expression, for me, would be, 'The Quickening'. May we all choose to Reside within Faith. :-)

  • A lovely visual expression of Harmony within nature.

  • For my Daghters and Friends!!!

  • thanx its very nice and beautiful

  • Absolutely Beautiful Song!!!

The others are too but this one is somehow special, its like a small window to the past where one can see purity of living in and with nature, the way Native Americans have lived and I m big fan of those eventhough i live across the ocean in europa - balkan!

very beautiful song by the way.

  • ops,it's right XD

  • Does anyone know what the 5 feathers mean? Im native and my gardian spirit told me to remember them but I dont know what they symbolize.

  • 5 feathers ? what do you mean

  • I don't know my Gardian Spirit told me remember the 5 feathers. And I don't even know what they are I thought it might be the 5 elements something like that.

  • Not sure if this is what you mean, but the 5 feathers bound together is the symbol of the Iroquois confederation used as their government symbol of their 5 tribes bound together as one. The founders of the U.S. Constitution borrowed heavily from the Iroquois Confederates when they formed the Constitution and Bill of Rights. They finally acknowledged those facts in 1988 and gave credit where it was due to the Iroquois who had their similar government for hundreds of years before the U.S..

  • mi emoziono sempre ogni volta che lo riascolto,.-*mi trasmette il senso della vita ... della mia vita,.-*della nostra vita... al parco... della Luna,.-*(-_-)in Armonia con il mondo intero fiume _farfalla_lucciola_mare_mare aperto_isola_nuvola_Luna_Stellina,.-*

  • Wow. This is a masterpiece of beautiful, compelling music and beautiful imagery.

  • Beautiful, are the people real or imagined?

  • youmean native americans? absolutely real :) I myself am one :)

  • I love the strings in this song

  • a wonderfull video you have made and the music too and thanks for sharing with me aho

  • Someone must take up the gauntlet and translate all "Sacred Spirit" songs. The lrics are not less important than the tune, and sometimes more.

AFAIK, "A-la-Ke" means "to hug" but I don't know what the rest of the song's lyrics mean

  • not if it doesn't get used, it won't

  • heel mooi...beautyfull

  • beautiful and moving thanks.

  • Beautiful. You do fantastic work Miss Katy, please keep it up. Thanks

  • wow beautiful woman! who is she?! love the video!

  • hallo... I am inspired so and please to have been found very much this videos from you here... thank you for this clarify momente this time, thank you.ganz dear ones greets. doris

  • I think, that's a man has make the Video and his one find native American woman as sexiest ;o) ... But i think, that the people are not only interest as women. The native Americans should be interest, not alone the women ;o) ...

Sorry for my bad english, but my last school lessons are 10 years ago and i don't use this language many times.

  • It is good that this music continues to live. But why the women are always drawn to the Indians?

It goes not from a nation?

  • if yo are half its mestizo... like if you are half black half white then you are mulat you are not black or white... thats the same thing with indios....

  • Mestizo is a Spanish/Portugese term used by Latin Americans, not North Americans. Here, a person of mixed race was simply called half-breed, but htat is considered offensive as is Mestizo or Mulatto in North America.

Wilma Mankiller , who is half Dutch/Irish and half Cheorkee was the Chief of the Cherokee Nation for several years. She was married to a man from Equador.

  • Cheers, thanks for posting this video, very deep chanting and beautiful.. loved the art work also.. very inspiring..!

About the terms you've described.. Mestizo ou Mestiço is a wider term that means mix race it's not a derrogative term if you don't want it to be. Neither is Mulato, mulato is a person who has both black and white ancestors and is considered in many countries as a race. Humans are beautiful in all shapes and coulors whatever they are called. Difference is richness!

  • Hi, yes, I understand the terms Mestizo, etc., and I am speaking as a North American person and know those terms are fine elsewhere. Because of U.S. history of slavery, the term Mulato is no longer used. The term we use in U.S. is biracial, regardless of the mixture of races. President Barack Obama is not Mulatto, he is biracial. See Wikipedia on this which says

"Mulatto" is no longer commonly used in the United States because it is not politically correct. Biracial is the preferred term.

  • obama is a scam a con a liar and a cheat! many native peoples from many places all around the world recognise him as a bad omen!

  • @katydidscorner I don,t believe you at all about that Wilma Mankiller THER NEVER WAS WOMEN CHIEF IN THE CHEROKEE TRIBE.

  • @greywolf545 well look it up for yourself. Wilma Pearl Mankiller (November 18, 1945 – April 6, 2010) was the first female Chief of the Cherokee Nation. She served as the Principal Chief for ten years

  • @katydidscorner and i do believe she did a lot of good things for the Tribes JMHO

i was at the Cherokee National Holiday and they done a nice tribute to her memory

  • In spirit, there was.

  • the man and the woman are not indians

  • They either married a Native or were adopted by Natives. They are wearing Native feathers, furs, and clothing and live among them in the same ways and traditions as Natives. .

  • or are they onle actors or models with indianclothes but like we say in spanish raza es raza... it´s al about the blood.... like me we latinos most of us have indianblood.... but they not

  • @katydidscorner Hello it,s me greywolf545 I just wanted you to know I did look it up about Wilma Mankiller an, I want to appologise to you for not believing what you said, forgive me I am sorry, [ nuh wah doe he yaw dud ] that means peace in cherokee.

  • @greywolf545 It's all good greywolf. That's what's great about life. We can all learn something new every day of life and history. Peace!

  • @katydidscorner just wanted to drop a little note to say hi and see whats happening hope all is well. love your work its great.

  • A-la-ke means to cuddle or express affection. I chose art by MAIJA because it seemed to fit this song and meaning of a-la-ke. MAIJA is a very famous Scandinavian artist married to Southwest Native American, and her Southwest Native artworks sell for as much as $20,000 each. Actors do not generally pose for art, but SW natives may have posed for her. It doesn't really matter to me, and if you don't like her art, that is your right, but others do..

    Peace, Katie

  • hahahah i didnt say i dont like her art ;)

  • You said they were actors, and I said I don't think so. Malia has three children with her Navijo husband. Are these children not Native Amercans? I am 1/4Cherokee, my father was half, my grandmother fullblood. Was my father not Cherokee becaue he was only half? My mother had no Indian blood, but she made frybread, went to powwows, and wore Cherokee calico dresses my father bought for her. She was Cherokee by heart. American Indans don't measure blood quantum as much as Mexico apparently..

  • Love the music and the artwork! Awesome!!!
