@13tomabram Yep, but to be fair the Shelby isn't meant to compete against the Corvettes class, there was no effort done to make it lighter or more aerodynamic, it is a cool, 550hp comfortable coupe with four seats, it is though about 600lbs heavier than the Vettes, and that alone costs the Shelby 0.6 seconds in the quarter mile, which is alot BTW.
