Still pissed that they didn't play this in Toronto. Oh well. Maybe when they come back... Hopefully Edge and Dallas will remember that those old SDD-3000 units aren't controlled by MIDI and this won't happen again, though it seems to suit the song for some strange reason.

So wonderful...I listen to my video of it and I am saying in a really high voice (that is okay I am a girl though) OH MY GOD I CAN"T BELIEVE IT!!!....and this is the only time they played it in the US this tour...yeah i feel special....and now I know I can read Bono's lips :)

I think is one of the best u2 concert I've been, I went the 2 Chicago dates and the fist night was to remember, because of this song one of my favorites I hope the play again on July and this time I will try to be on the floor, I was on the 300 level and still it was awesome, maybe if u were on the last row of the stadium you will say the same! Excelent concert.......

just like barn524, I was there in Chicago and close enough to lip read Bono tell Clayton, "BAD." Totally surprised! I told my wife and rocked out! What a phenomenal concert and band. A concert for the ages! Inner circle. Totally awesome!

I was on the outer edge at the top of the ellipse and went nuts when I heard the backing track for BAD come on the PA. This song for me has been like chasing a dragon. My U2 life has been completed!

I was 2nd row outside of the outer ring, Adam's side, and the second I heard the PA play the intro I went a little wild as well. I was only surprised once that show, and Bad was that surprise.

i was probably a few feet from you then, once I heard the backing tack I was kinda lost for a second... it was that much of a surprise... then I realized it and im like oh no! edge's delay is off... then it was bliss for 5 and a half mins!

As much as I pay attention to little details like that, I didn't even notice. It was still a great performance, especially ending with a snippet of '40.' Priceless night.

I was there I was really hoping they would play this. In amsterdam he turned around and told them"BAD" and edge chgd guitars and they nodded ok. I was in the 3 row in Chicagoand saw go over to Adam and lip read BAD - I got excited. I told my friend I think they just decided to play bad now! Then I freaked out a bit....got a recording but I may be screaming on it. They pull it out of the blue it looks like to me. At least this tour he has done it twice-told them to change guitars and such

I was there next to mr celtic maps and i thought there was a glitch with the guitar, although I have seen no one else mention it. I also thought his high E string went out of tune.

One thing I noticed that night was when Edge started the song his delay was set wrong.

From about 0.28 to 0.33 you can hear it. At .035 Dallas gets it fixed.
