that thing is surprising SMOOTH. its freakin creamy as can be, and the rear seats are amazing. much softer than the Mercedes C class. the only thing about the back seat is that its reclined too far back. its super quiet too.

This is my favourite car at the moment. It has a very original design. The X3 was good like 5 years ago but it almost didn't change since it came out and is starting to become old fashioned for my taste.

Looks? well, that is subjective. I tire of all the SUVs that look like the Q5 suppository. And curvy cars look feminine to me. The GLK is definitely masculine, whether you like it or not. Most people that compare it..haven't driven it. So what they really are comparing is brochures...not cars. If you are old enough, go take one for a test drive. Very Quiet. Very Strong. Very classy. But there are choices for all. I put my money where my mouth is.

Limited. It IS a compact SUV. I wish it had the sliding rear seat like the Tiguan but it doesn't. If you are short and drive with the seat up like I do (I am 5'7") then there is ample room in the rear even for a 6 footer... But if you are over 6' and drive with the seat pretty far back, the rear legroom is limited.

Some people are wondering why a small SUV?

Well, the hatch allows things a trunk doesn't......

And we like to ride a bit higher. The Visibility in the GLK is superb!

I expected most of the styling comments to be negative on here.. This car has a first you hate it, then you love it styling affect... It had the same effect that the ml 320 had on me when it came out back in 1998... I feel it stands out, the q5, rdx, and the Volvo competetor all copied the x3, thus they all look the same...

I saw this at the auto show and it looked wierd. It looks like a small gl but with the tall roof rails, it looks like a boy scout compared with benz's other cars. I would have 1. q5  2. glk 3. x3

this is a pretty sweet cute-ute from Mercedes. Its adorable and sporty, this car can either be a chick car or guy car, depending on the color. The interior is alo very nice and sharp looking; much better than the C-class it's based off of. However, i still think the C-class sport wagon is better

This is not that bad but for a BENZ I think they could of done better with the exterior styling it looks like a old subaru forester I would rather have a Q5 any day over this but this is still a Merc and with that you get the best of the best quality, transmission and engine, it does not break as much as an audi. BMW peace of crap period, overpriced and interior on bmw sucks and very boring. 1. Q7, 2. GLK.

yeah the BMW X3 is a piece of shit. it has plastic fenders!!! in a 40+ car!! but other BMW models are awesome. Not all BMW are crap, and out of Mercedes and Audi BMW does have the best motor reliability, quality and safety cannot compare to Audi or Benz though

Personally, I wouldn't buy this car. I don't have anything against the car. It is great, but to me, if I want a SUV, I want a big, massive car. For the money, $33k, I'd rather get a C300.

Mercedes says that this car was designed with women in mind. But the angular shapes and stuff are more masculine than feminine... I, bieng a man, find it quite appealing actually, while my sis prefered the x3 because of it's curves and stuff. I think mercedes hit the mark on design. Now, if they could only import those diesel engines they've got in europe. HOpe they put their upcoming inline 4 diesel in this baby.
