Haha... I used to have what was known in England as the "Panasonic Brick" it was ten times the size of that and I still have one arm slightly longer than the other.
I got it because I travelled a lot and where a car phone was class one, and the ericsson was class 4, the brick was class 2 and would work where other portable mobiles wouldn't.
But often I had to get a bus for a few stops so I could sit upstairs to get a signal :-)
does any one have the old Captian Cook Salt advert? The one that had Sushmita Mukherjee (Karamchand wali Kitty)...that was a humorous one for its days....I remember aline from that one....kaisa zarrr sa gir rahai, niklo to dhad se niklo...very very funny

Can you imagine? My neighbour had this phone and We actually used to think it was cool.
You had to be rich to have a mobile! Someone would have thought you were MAD if you had told them that 10 years later even the safaiwala would have a mobile phone!

Neither the phone is small nor the idea of the commerical is original. I have seen loads of similar ads.

This looks like a re-enactment of the ad. The original ad was a bar setting, the guy is a young one.
