@GTWHITEFEVER First of all what we have is an ever expanding government down to council level with increasing powers of intrusion on peoples rights, this needs to stop but we have a monopolised media that seems to be pushing the governments policies in turn convincing the people government control is essential. @GTWHITEFEVER This will be my last reply tonight as I have to go to work, but 53% tax is what we all pay in uk on average across the board including purchases, so you get taxed 20% on income,11% national insurance, 20% on everything you buy around 5-10% of earnings on council tax then you have all the other taxes road tax, T.V licence and all the others then when you die if your assets are worth more than £325,000 you will be taxed again on what you have already been taxed at 40%.

But what we have is not true capitalism, big business has massive advantages over individuals, we reguarly hear stories of corporations paying only 2 or 3% tax, or for example tesco building without planning permission something the people could and would not get away with, we find ever increasing restrictions put on business so only the rich can compete. Red tape needs to be cut and start ups promoted.

@GTWHITEFEVER This will be my last reply tonight as I have to go to work, but 53% tax is what we all pay in uk on average across the board including purchases, so you get taxed 20% on income,11% national insurance, 20% on everything you buy around 5-10% of earnings on council tax then you have all the other taxes road tax, T.V licence and all the others then when you die if your assets are worth more than £325,000 you will be taxed again on what you have already been taxed at 40%.

What's wrong is the debt based economic system where banks can create money out of thin air and lend it at interest! That turns the whole economy into a massive pyramid scheme.
