for rangers it is good to click when you kite because you dont walkbackwards/straif and if you know annything about the game you know ur combat changes depending on the way you walk [its indicated by the green arrows under ur player and when you walk backwards you get def but lose 70% attk, walking side to side you gain evasion and lose 70% attk and when you walk forwards you lose def but gain 20% attk, however this is why i use click to walk maybe he just likes it

You dont have to click to keep forward up for every shot. I have a ranger and I never fire a single shot with out full dmg (auto atks included) with or without doing jumpshots, using WSAD.

u all still dont get it, Ranger NEED to use Click to move...do u remember about movement bonusses ? U NEEd TO MOVE forward for Dmg bonus, that's why it's easier to use Click to move all the time...but pr0s who think they are PRO cuz they dont need click to move...goodluck ;)

Players need to keep in mind that with the release of patch 1.5, jump shotting is going to be "nerfed." Also, click to move is not imperative to successfully jump-shot. It can be done just as easily (if not easier) than clicking. For those asking, this ranger is at LEAST level 30-35. This can be observed by the skin of his bow, which is either Kromede's bow, or Satan's bow. It should also be noted that the opponents he's fighting are significantly lower than him. (5-10 levels)

Right. You can't really get rid of jump shotting. What they DID get rid of was the ability to chain skills while doing so.

Hes jumping because in this patch version if you jump while shooting you can cancel out the animation and essentially attack faster. It was fixxed in the next content patch. No jumpshots!

this is lvl 45+ Ranger (skill nr.7 "Sniping IV" is a lvl 45 skill) in a lvl 20-30 area . it looks cool but hunt low lvl player is not hard ^^ .

the devs have pretty much accepted that jumpshot is a part of the game, as when they implemented macros it was exploited by the rangers firs. being able to use 8 skills at once was pwnage. then they fixed it but left jumpshot, and feel ranger get enoguh advantage from that and makes them somewhat reluctant to fix ranger's poor DPS. most people would prefer to get rid of jumpshot and fix ranger, though.

Thats not true... First you have to wait to be a Daeva, to get your bow, and the lvling is not the fastes in the game with archers.. The 'overwhelming' power proprietary is the Sorc in low lvl, and the school of warriors has good dmg and defence too... As we use to in other mmos.. :)

Scout classes (Ranger, Assa) have a basic stealth skill. Using that in stealth you have a 40% movement speed penaulty. Assassins get a Master Stealth skill later on the game, which lasts longer, doesnt affect movement speed that much and its cooldown is faster.
