"O devushke svoey" does not mean "About one's own girl", it means "About one's girlfriend", like without "own". And "devushka" here means girlfriend, cause in Russian "girl" and "girlfriend" are a single word. "About one's girlfriend" - hope it's not too sexist for you.

I love Russian, whether its their music, accent, or their language in itself, it's incredible. I was friends with two lovely women from Ukraine; probably some of the sweetest I'd ever met, Olena and Oksana. This song just completely awed me, with the way it was redone and put into Russian. Very awesome. :D The voices are damn-near dead on.
