Laughed quite hard when Howard told Keating how out of touch he was with the Australian people, seems that being out of touch comes with the position of Prime Minister. Workchoices was a classic case of being out of touch with the people Little Johhny, you couldn't even win your own seat, that's how out of touch you became, at least Keating retired from politics after election defeat, you were kicked out by your own constituents.
If Howard and the cheer-squad really think all those things where "given" to us by Keating, it's no wonder he sincerely believes he gave us the late 90's. Dickhead.
Why would anyone bother posting this? You can hear the quaver in John Howard's cowardly voice. Paul Keating shits on John Howard with ease, without even having to prepare a speech.
@uprighttt you removed it cause you knew you were wrong.
even if i was only 19, i would have the right to vote. your problem is that your mentality is stuck back in the day when 2 cents would get you a train to the city, a movie ticket with large popcorn, a drink and icecream, with enough left over for a pint of milk and a sandwich, and a train ticket back home.
Get your trail of thought to 2011 and looking forwards, before you want to keep up your piss-weak bitchy little argument
@uprighttt Before seeing that comment, I didn't know people could be that dumb, i thought there was a minimal amount of intelligence required to survive, but you have proven that wrong.
On the topic of a pre-school "off" idiots, I think you must have failed it. Youve spat out a wall of all-caps text expecting that to somehow improve the lifeless quality of your argument. The socialist debate is long-gone, go back to the 1950s if you want to keep it. Also you're incorrect about guessing my age.
@foolishinjustice Just like the European settlers took on the values of Indigenous Australians upon their migration, right? Oh wait... Australia is the country that it is BECAUSE of migrants, and the multifaceted influence their collective cultural backgrounds have brought to our society. Just because you had your civilized, middle-class, white-bread upbringing does NOT make your set of values and beliefs superior to anyone elses.
Um where was the Keating reply to the bullshit that Howard crapped on about? He seemed to have forgot about the high interest rates when he was treasurer, lucky for him they were capped and not allowed to go to the 20% plus rates they would have been! Why do conservatives have such short memories?
Argh, 6 minutes of Howard hyperbole. A good thing he had his cheer squad members to chime in on the "Paul Keating" chant, otherwise he would have sent me to sleep. He really had the charisma of a wet blanket.
Howard own anyone??? Think not....classic case of wait long enough, Top Office eventually falls your way, pity, and empathy was Howard's gift from Keating's many, many, many beratings and pilliorying of Howard and Costello... Australian public felt sorry for little Johnny Eyebrows...
@Soundgarden8497 you clearly didnt watch the 1996 debate where keating tore howard to shreds (as expected), and howard couldnt even speak in response cause of how badly flogged he had been
@Soundgarden8497 Ruining the country? you need to revise your history instead of making it up as you go. The economic reforms of the Hawke-Keating govt would be 90% of the reason Australia survived the recent global financial crisis.
@imlay1992 ahahaha you're a fruit loop. we survived because of the huge surplus that howard left for labor to WASTE and now we're in fucking debt. you're just a narrow minded left winger/activist with no real world experience. you're ALL THE SAME.
@Soundgarden8497 you right wing idiots really do have short minds for backward thinking people.
The "huge surplus" was only there cause of the earlier hawke/keating reform, the mining boom, and a huge lack of investment in Australias future needs. Any idiot knows that you save when the times are good and spend savings when theyre going bad. the markets was collapsing and aus needed the govt to hold it up until it can start stand on its own feet again.
@imlay1992 bullshit, howard's government fixed labor's mess, just the same way tony abbott will have to fix up the complete shambles rudd and gillard are going to leave. anyone with an education understands that everytime labor get into power, bureaucracy expands and becomes completely inefficient, money gets wasted on failed schemes which have no decent amount of thought put into them, people are losing jobs in the private sector because of labor's stupidity.
@Soundgarden8497 Keving Rudd was not pathetic. he was quite a strong, competant leader. Julia Gillard isnt great but she is no where near as bad as idiots like you like to mention.
The biggest failure of the current ALP govt is that they cant seem to be able to sell their great policies through all of the mindless droning negativity
@imlay1992 *puts head in hands* - kevin rudd competent? yeah... so was hitler. kevin rudd's failed policy started the boats coming to Australia again, he wasted the massive surplus and now we have a killer debt we'll be repaying for decades. the $900 he gave to people was an utter waste, he could have built much needed infrastructure and DECENT projects around the country instead of giving people pocket money which was mostly spent on products made in china effectively boosting them not us...
@Soundgarden8497 Cut the liberal rhetoric, if youre going to argue something, dont use rhetoric supplied by the side you have picked.
The boats didnt start "flooding in' when kevin rudd got in. wars started by the USA made it so the boats couldnt get here.
"Killer debt"?? Are you really as stupid as to blame Kevin Rudd, as an individual on govt debt!? Are you really that stupid as to have ignored the whole Global Financial Crisis?? as for infrastructure we were starved since howard got in
@imlay1992 im speaking from myself you muppet. the boats DID start with kevin rudd, because he changed all the asylum seeker policies of john howard THAT WORKED. you fucking moron, even a toddler knows this. kevin rudd isn't the only one to blame for our debt, it's also wayne swan who doesn't even have a degree managing the nation's money. Australia's economy was bulletproof and we had a huge surplus, labor's incompetence fucked everything. labor have made the GFC worse now by wasting.
@Soundgarden8497 Youre a fact free zone, youre typing a load of typical meaningless liberal rhetoric.
As bad as the libs tell you the refugee debate is, it isnt all that bad in Aus as compared with just about most other countries in the world - we ARE naturally isolated. not because of howard
The only reason our economy was in such good shape for howard to claim for was because of the work of Keating, and the mining boom. And thats why the Aussie economy is among the strongest in the world
@imlay1992 you're a fuck up, plain and simple. keating was a failure, he holds the lowest approval rating of any PM in Australia for a starter. i believe you're a troll, so i'm not going to continue this with you.
@Soundgarden8497 oh well isnt that the ideal easy way out of an argument you lost??
Keating was a long term leader for this country. People look back on his policies + economic reforms and are glad he did it. Rudd + Gillard are also long term leaders. (NBN, Carbontax, RSPT)
Howard + Abbott are short term 'leaders' - they lead for the next election and nothing else
@imlay1992 you're a troll, everything you say is bullshit. but yeah i guess rudd and gillard ARE "long term leaders" in the regard that they've fucked the country up long -term. the nbn is a major waste, wireless is the technology of the future because it's unrestricted. cables cant be transported. carbon tax = money to other countries. $180 billion debt doesn't concern you? when you collect the dole and contribute nothing to the country you shouldn't really be commenting on politics kid.
@Soundgarden8497 Youre an idiot looking for the easy way out of a lost argument. Did you miss todays lateline with Turnbull being interviewed?? he admitted that the lib policy on CC was only short term to meet short term commitments, and that the ALP policy for tax/ETS was long term. This reflects the 2 parties sense of direction for the country.
You clearly know nothing about wireless technology - it is restricted by bandwidth & speed, and it costs considerably more (1/2)
@Soundgarden8497 and as for "fucked up the country" - you really cant be that thick!? Aus is the leading economy in the world. $180b debt reflects govts revenue loss from GFC
Carbon tax - half is given back to the working class in form of tax cuts + pension increases. other half is invested in green technology
as for me collecting "my dole" i work for my living. i doubt youve WORKED a day in your tidy office boy, bosses lap-dog life.
If you want to argue something get some facts together 1st
@imlay1992 i run my own business, and you cant accuse anyone of being a "lapdog" when you're a fucking communist. typical labor moron, you cant see the big picture. so essentially you think people should be punished for working and more should be given to people who do nothing? go back to school
@imlay1992 What do you mean anybody know's? You're an idiot, you are speaking from a Keynesian perspective, but for some reason you are of the opinion there isn't a larger breadth to economic thought. What about Saw's law? Some cutting edge economics in THIS country have argued, boosting aggregate demand, though fiscal measure will not, nor has ever been a long term problem to the solution of economics down turns
I am a capitalist, from the Hayek school more than anything, and you're an idiot
@TonusAMaximus So, if you are right, how do you explain that EVERY G7 economy had a stimulus package to get them out of the GFC? Saw's Law? Don't you mean Say's Law? Mate before you call anyone an idiot
(a) proof read your post;
(b) get an understanding of how economies actually work. Say's law is a theory just like any other. But in an economic downturn, when consumers do not have confidence, things DO NOT get bought, not matter how much supply there is.
@vemsjutton I will take the typo on the chin. My bad.
Read Steven Kates from MIT, then we can have this discussion(I don't agree with Kates 100%). I am not saying you are wrong, but you are. I am certain you don't understand Say's law properly.
@vemsjutton Stimulus spending is a joke. Why? Because as soon as you repay the debt with interest those stimulus jobs disappear. On treasury estimates 200,000 jobs were saved by racking up $100bn in debt which means each of those jobs saved cost the taxpayer $500,000. If stimulus spending grew the economy let's just give government all our money and we can have boom times in perpetuity.
@PLooBzor Ever thought, that when those stimulus jobs "disappear", it is because the economy is recovering, and will pick them straight back up anyway?
The govt sacking cash away while the private sector collapses & regular working people are kicked out of their homes is grossly irresponsible. It is an economic fact that booms come to an end because in the long term they are unsustainable.
@imlay1992 The funny thing is, those reforms WERE very much right wing. And please don't you bullshit yourself, the Howard government invested millions and millions into skill development, you know so the fucking mining boom could actually happen.
@imlay1992 OK, so where is the logic in spending billions of dollars on infrastructure like the NBN and other fruitless, unregulated and unNEEDED projects, when the country is in a global economy that is seeing other countries going bankrupt?
When my going is good, I save big time. But when the going is bad, I don't piss my savings into the wind.
They're blowing cash out of their arse to satisfy the voters that couldn't even get them a majority government.
@mescalero78 are you serious? lets sit on our hands for another 11 years while the world moves ahead with the times, do you realise that while keating was busy implementing the reforms that would make the country prosper we were in recession? in worst shape than we are now yet by the time howard took over it was showing signs of improvement. Do you not see what the gillard government is trying to do or are you another 1 of the uneducated morons that think the labor party is wasting money?
@raff23 The Gillard government is blowing excessive money on a soon to be obselete wired internet. We have fast enough internet in most of australia as it is. Why do we need to spend so much of the countries money to get faster porn? That money could have been spent on more practicle and important issues like public transport in Sydney where in many densely populated areas is almost non-existent. Perhaps a highspeed rail network connecting the east coast. Instead of this we get fast porn!
@BeksBeer did you not understand what i wrote? what part of investing in the future do u not get?, we have fast enough internet now but what about in 10 years?, last time i checked alot of the world is already ahead of us in this regard so imo its about time. stop looking in the short term and focus on the bigger picture for crying out loud.
@raff23 In 10 years wireless internet technology will be faster than wired and and for a fraction of the cost. We will still be be paying back the NBN. The costs for the NBN are excessive and unjustified. Just because the rest of the western world has faster internet is not justification to put ourselves into debt for the next 15 years. No cost/benefit analysis has been performed Rudd or Gillard couldnt provide one. The most worrying thing is they dont know if the NBN will last 10 years.
In terms of speed much of the UK runs on 20-30meg lines, which if you had done any investigating into the matter we in Australia have had this speed on cable for years. The fact of the matter is broadband is expensive and not slow because of the size of the country and cost in maintaing such a vast network.
What internet connection do you use raff23? is it ADSL2 or Cable?
If you were one of the people that lost your house in that recession because for the second time in 20 years a labour prime minister caused a recession which lead to interest rates above 10%!
@BeksBeer All of the recessions occurred globally, and you only lose your house if you borrow more than you can repay, and you havent got a properly stable job. (Or youve relied on the boom to continue, it went bust and everyone panicked)
If you knew anything about economics, youd know that interest rates drop during recessions to try to stimulate the economy.
AND lets not mention the good ol' Fraser days (With Howard as treasurer) with capped 21% interest rates, and hyperinflation.
@imlay1992 Ok that was a poor and uneducated response.
Firstly - Fraser and Howard inherited the interest rates of upto 22% thanks to the LABOUR Prime Minister Gough Whitlam. Remember he did get sacked for spending more than we could afford didnt he?
Secondly - You made another dumb comment about interest rates dropping during a recession. If you knew anthing about economics you would know that interest rates go up to slow economic activity and inflation such as that caused by Paul Keating.
Fraser first in 1975, cash rate was 7.7% Between then and 1983 (when Hawke was elected) the rates had peaked at 21% in 1982, and were 16% when Fraser was kicked out in march 83
With Keating as treasurer (83-91) the peak rate was 18% but from 1989 rates had steadily dropped - a trend that continued ill let you re-read over what you just said. Did you say that i was infact WRONG when i said interest rates drop during recessions?
@BeksBeer Both the Whitlam and Fraser governments were a joke. Any economist today recognise the great and gutsy reforms Hawke/Keating undertook throughout the 80s and early 90s. As a result we have had 21 years of continuos growth, no wages breakout, inflation under control and therefor lower interest rates. The float of the dollar is without a doubt the best single reform since WW2 by a mile. Every Australian should be thankful for that government. Thank Christ someone had the guts to do it.
@imlay1992 alot of it was when the howard government sold out the Australian public and privatised everything... now what do we have? barely anything!
@imlay1992 And now it’s not there because of the similar Labor wankers
And if it was because of the Hawke and Keating “reform” then why didn’t they even begin to make a significant surplus? If they were so good. (Not that Howard was perfect, as i didn’t agree with everything he/they did)
@toranacar We're paying less tax now than we did under howard.
As said in a prior comment ( top comment), Howard rode off keating reform, mining boom, & deprived Australia of any form of future or sense of direction.
Unions need people in jobs to exist - therefore unions WANT full employment.
On the other hand, Libs want unemployment - as unemployment increases, supply of basic workers increases, which drives down wages, which increases business profits, (which in the end fails quickly)
No mate I’m not afraid of reality as I’m not afraid of criticizing either party. Unfortunately Labor has very little to be proud of, but they so proud since they believe and been successful in a quiet revolution in this country, Liberals to a lesser extent. Remember current Labor quotes, “sustainability”, and “new economy” meaning we will be poorer under Labor and the Co2 tax will achieve this. Yes, be proud
@toranacar The majority of your comment is just blatant rhetoric and spin - it has no real meaning!!
Want to discuss cost to the economy? The carbon tax will add an extra 0.7% to the CPI when introduced - i assume youre smart enough to know what the CPI is. When the GST was introduced, it added an extra 2.5% to the CPI
The ALP have far more to be proud of than the LNP - even amongst the leadership issues, theyre far better than the alternative - Abbott.
@imlay1992 No dopey, you miss the point, your comments and Labor’s comments which are so full of shit and or 'rhetoric' and then you saying my comments are, is sickingly pathetic!
@toranacar Everything ive said is straight out fact, and has disproved everything you have stated - Ive even thrown in a few statistics as a bonus.
Youve just sat there and made a few big statements that are based on your own hateful, fraudulent mind. You havent proven anything, you havent backed anything up. Youre as pathetic as every other mindless LNP drone out there.
@toranacar Labor want to increase tax free threshold to 8k from 6k... that's a saving of $300 a year per Australian earning at least 8k that the Liberals wont match. For abbot to get rid of the carbon tax etc, and achieve a surplus as promised he would have to increase income tax at around a cost of $600 to Australians earning over 15k. That's a $900 saving to the average Australian along a broad range (including rich and poor) under Labor, or a $900 loss under Libs for a similar range.
You Labor dead heads always miss the whole picture, you plucked a few things there which MIGHT be true, MIGHT as Gillard has got to be the most dishonest PM ever Labor or Liberal. So they pretend to make a saving for us which will be well out striped by the carbon dioxide tax. Electricity alone will increase from $200 - $400 a year. Now think about everything which is reliant on electricity and you MAY get an idea, I won’t hold my breath.
@Duggymoto Something simple you could do, since carbon dioxide will have a price of $23 a tonne which will go up every year, (Swans words) look at your electricity bill and check how much Co2 you emitted and multiply your Co2 by $23. Greens want a Co2 price of $130 a tonne (Sarah Hanson Young’s words). Then multiply by 4 quarters.
@toranacar Ever thought that the Co2 tax could go DOWN every year? the ETS price will follow the markets, ie peoples affordibility & Co2 output.
The greens price is 100% hypothetical, and without any valid meaning in any debate.
NOT to mention that the tax only hits the top 500 polluters - so it doesnt hit everything that you buy. AND that electricity prices will rise substantially, regardless of tax
@imlay1992 You know what, I thought I heard $18000 on the radio while I was working, and they didn't repeat the number. Sounded to good to be true so I assumed they had said 8k. Anyway thanks, that's does improve the point considerably - the saving from Labor would be $3600.
@111cunt Just to clear one thing, im not strictly "left wing".
The ALP are going through a democratic process, unlike Tony Abbotts censored dictatorship over the LNP - whom has caused the party to backflip from having policy, to having nothing, by a mere single party vote.
@toranacar "Usually" DOES NOT imply that there is anything wrong with changing leaders after an election.
And what do you define as "before" or "after an election? one day before? 3 years after? The ideology of a party changing leader within any particular non-tangible time frame is somehow wrong, is itself ambiguous.
@imlay1992 It is usually before an election the leader is chosen by a party, it’s what most people expect when they vote for a member, unless of course we are talking about Labor, they chop and change leaders at a drop of a hat, its legal but I don’t think it is the right thing to do, and this is partly the problem Gillard has. People voted for a Labor member expecting to get Rudd as PM.
@toranacar People voted for their local members - many of them ALP members, who in turn voted for Kevin Rudd as leader.
Kevin Rudd was elected as PM on the 24/11/2007, and sworn in on 3/12/2007. He was replaced as PM on the 24/6/2010 That is over 2 and a half years later - ie nearly a full term of Government.
Can you please explain how having the popularly elected PM in power for 2.5 out of 3 years is the equivalent of "Chopping and changing leaders at the drop of a hat"??
@imlay1992 No we vote for both idiot, the different candidates in different seats represent their leader; i find it laughable that you are actually trying to defend the alp you are delusional mate
@imlay1992 that doesnt eliviate the fact that we vote for both and you know we do, and the fact that your attacking the liberal national party at this point in time of politics is trivial given the current state of the other side of politics (ALP) so good argument
Labor will spend anything to achieve it's goals, spend anything to make it's promises come true, even when any tradesperson will tell you that a job can be done for substancially cheaper than what the witless government decides is the best price.
@desalage failure? wow you have no idea about what he actually did. If it wasnt for keating where would your rights at work be? if it wasnt for keating we wouldnt have super available to us, if it wasnt for keating we wouldnt have any bearing on world politics and australia would be a blip on the radar. If it wasnt for keating making the tough calls on the economy we wouldn have little johnny howard taking the credit for it. Learn the facts buddy, without keating we would be fuked as a nation.
@raff23 terrible prime minister and was owned by Howard shortly after this video of the failure in action. everyone agree he was one of the worst ever, although Rudd was probably worse.
@desalage if howard had his way completly we would end up like america. a country with poor healthcare, education and a small minority earning everything. there would also be no rights for workers and minimum wage would drop. your simply another multi-nationalist dumbass. let me huess u also think the mining tax was bad too...
@EndorphineT78 what rubbish. Howard is remembered as a champion and one of the best ever. Keating is remembered as a failure. As is Hawke. Is it any coincidence that every Labor mug ends up screwing everything up and you need a Lib to come in and fix it. Happens everytime Kevin 07 why does everyone call him a lemon?
@desalage It was Hawke and Keating that cleaned up the mess Howard left behind in 1983. Stagflation, 22% interest rates, low productivity. The country was a complete mess. But since you're an idiot Liberal voter you wouldnt know this since you only think what Alan Jones and Rupert Murdoch tell you to think.
@bongo155 Oh Rupert Murdoch does the papers right? Yeah I don't read that shit its full of crap like the rubbish you just spouted lol. You Labor welfare guys are part of a structured system of mind control. its funny you think a Liberal is ever told what to think, thats a laugh. We tell you what to think
@desalage Sure you dont. Its obvious you read News Ltd papers while listening to talkback radio by the ignorant rubbish you sprout. And everything I said about Howard being a complete failure as Treasurer is true. But you might actually might have to know something about politics. Hell, you're one of those Lib retards that thinks the Fed Gov's 6% of GDP debt is massive.
@bongo155 And you're the retard for counting 6% GDP as the only debt incurred under Labor. You think blowing away all your assets is not part of a debt, just because its not in the negative, wow. You fit the bill real well. And please i've got no time to listen to talkback radio if I couldn't sleep then i might tune in and papers are full of propaganda and tabloid trash for the masses.
@desalage GDP is over a trillion dollars. Federal government is around 60 billion. You do the math. I would explain Keynesian economics to you but bogans cant understand that. You're obviously a fanatical Liberal voter devoid of rational thinking. And no, I'm not an ALP voter but an ALP preference voter. I vote Green. But just like Abbott and Robb and Hockey can't do there sums when it comes to costings neither can you. Now troddle off to Bolt or Akerman for you next ignorant ranting.
@desalage I can tell you lap up the shit from talk back radio and stuff from News Ltd papers like Bolt and Akerman because you say the exact same rubbish. Hell, you probably even believe every word from Tony "I dont tell the truth unless its written down in front of me" Abbott.Your understanding of economics is so poor its obvious you're a dumb brainwashed kid. You're probably one of those retards that thinks very low interest rates is always good.Ever looked at what happened to the USA?
@bongo155 hahaha you vote Green and want to talk Economics? Why? Go back to school LOL i've got no time for clueless Greens voters, dumbest people in Australia
@desalage Intelligently written ad hominen there, kid. Greens would have more economic credentials than Mr. Abbott. Who, in the words of his own party is an economic lightweight. Oh, and suck shit on losing the election. Even with the lies and propaganda from Abbott and his right wing media pals you still couldnt steal the election. Thank fuck Oakeshott and Windsor are smarter than the average bogan (liberal) voter.
@bongo155 lol they showed how much brains they had in the conference when they said the Coalition would clearly win if we went back to the polls today. Yeah these guys are smart as lol
@desalage Is that the best you've got? You're coming across as an ignorant kid with no real knowledge of economis, history of politics. Once NSW Labor is kicked out in March next year and Rudd patches up things with the rest of the party the ALP will romp it in at the next federal election. People are already starting to see through Abbott's lies and idiotic slogans. Theres only so much propaganda Rupert and Jones can pump out before the electorate wises up to the lies.
@sushan257 Been reading FOX News papers too much? Brainwashed by Murdoch and talkback radio? If you're referring to the NBN there is a business plan but that would require you shutting your mouth and opening your eyes and reading something that wasn't propaganda from Murdoch papers. And every economist and organisation like the OECD has praised Labor's handling of the GFC.But you're complaining about the federal government's debt of 6% of GDP.OH NOES SIX PERCENT!!!!!!!!!
only typical labour/green retard would say that man who has a economics degree has no economics sense , i may be have been reading fox and listing to talk back radio ...but at least i read and listen , if you have been reading news papper or listening to any thing you would know that stupid gillard has not even released thier so called business plan to the out side world
@sushan257 Firstly, retard its LABOR not Labour. When you say labour you're just proving my point you're an ignorant moron. Listening toshit like FOX and talk back radio just makes you stupid. Even worse than people who pay no attention to politics. And studies have shown that Green voters have the highest level of tertiary educated voters. But you are a stupid, uneducated bogan who should learn your place is cleaning toilets of your betters.
@bongo155 labor , labour who gives fuck about that retarded fuck wit , shit is shit which ever way spell it , it still stinks the same moron
if you also listen to fox or talk back , you would at least know whats going around you ...so put your womens day magazine faggot ...reading about the smell of julia farts is not politics ,
@sushan257 Labour or Labor demonstrates you do not pay attention to what you're talking about. Its not a typo, if you wrote Labro thats a typo. But spelling Labor Labour shows you are ignorant.
@bongo155 as i said i don't really care wether it labor or labour ....does not matter what name you use , shit is still shit and stinks ...., i may be ignorant in regards to the name of you shit party ...but you seem to ignorant in regards every thing else
what point moron ? your point about the bussiness plan ? or point point about you being a product of cow and donkey having sexual inercourse ? or point of you being dropped on head when your little , so studies say that does it ? geez , it is good know that worthless art graduates are not so worthless after all.....and fuck wit just being able to read and write does make you smart , other wise you would also would be considered smart
@sushan257 Now you're just using personal attacks because you can't debate the issue. Hmmm, wonder who else does that. Oh, wait, thats Tony Abbott! Lib voters always resort to name calling and racist slogans because they have no ideas or policies of their own.
really ? typical response from labor/labour pussy ? hey you started name calling ..i was just returning the favor ..i have beaten on facts figures ,still waiting for a response.... yeah , very typical of labour ...always the other party is racist when you'll getting arse kicked .. he he
but i don't know wether she has shown you , when you both were smoking pot inside her western suburb shit hole she calls house ....any way sport , people who do economic sense usually prepare business plans ,cost benifit analysis before they start business venture , if you at least ran milk bar you would know that ....i am sure economists are , they do praise you about pink bats and building educational revolution as well ?
@sushan257 I find it amusing you say Western suburbs shithole. Liberal voters these days largely western suburb bogan scum like yourself. Abbot appeals to the lowest common denominator, ie maggots like you. Just like people who read News Ltd papers and listen to talk back radio have lower incomes than Green voters because you're all uneducated and unskilled bogan, redneck trash.
ha ha , really retard fuck wit , where did you hear that from womens day ? did u hear that while you blowing bob brown to earn buck ....? see if that were liberal vote base , how come you not a liberal ...you seem fit the bell very well , well you barrack for bogan leader who actually can't even say taliban... he he
@sushan257 Again, simple made up insults like I read Woman's Day. Woman's Day is a PBL publication. Even if Packer doesn't own PBL anymore I wouldnt watch it. I do read The Monthly Magazine and the Quarterly Essay and subscribe to Crikey and read New Matilda and On line opinion. I do watch ABC and SBS and read SMH.
they did all that spending out of the surplus howard/costello letf them , now we are in debt , and in order to cover that these retards try kill off the mining industry , the industry who pulled us out of the GFC .....that takes economic genius to do ....any way how is that asylum seeker policy working out for you ....another 106 people today
@sushan257 Learn how a budget works. Revenue is raised and then expenses deducted over the course of a year. The mining industry didn't keep us out of the GFC. They laid off thousands of workers and had revenue sharply slide. Mining only rebounded when the Chinese government implemented their own stimulus plan when they saw the USA going into a deep recession. Chinese stimulus saved the Australian mining industry. And that my friend, is what I call fucking owned.
@bongo155 geez , did you just work that now ....well , retard budget is not business plan nor a co0st benift analysis...geez , so what you saying is things like pinks bats? building the educational revolution saved the Australian economy ? you more of fucking retard than i thought ...have heard of Exports , Export income ? retard ..or are you saying it is Chinese who saved the Australian economy not the labor...stick that up your fagot arse
@sushan257 Export income is only one aspect of the ecnomoy. Domestic consumption is also important. The retail sector employsmany many many more people than mining. Same with services. The insulation scheme was fine and has been proven so by reports. The BER had less than 3% complaints. Your problem is you listen to proven liars and idiots like Hadley and Jones on these issues and the biggest criminal of all, Rupert Murdoch.
geez , nice set of words , did not know women's day wrote stuff like that.... one word though , rudd money did jack shit to improve domestic consumption though ... pink bats were fine , on earth back way from independent inquiry ......? any idoit can write reports ..just as how treasury verified labour costings ...but the real story is high interest rates crippling the SME ...'s
@sushan257 Yeah, yeah. Auditor-General, ANAO, Treasury are all "left-wing" propaganda machines. ABC, who 'Honest' John stacked with Liberal cronies is left wing. Blah blah blah. The Rudd stimulus did work. We avoided the recession. Even the OECD said so. Add I'll repeat, the Australian mining sector was saved by China's OWN STIMULUS.
@sushan25 OH NOES 106 PEOPLE WHATEVER SHALL WE DO????? Our population increased 0.00000004% today. HOW WILL WE COPE?!!!! And why shouldnt the mining industry pay more tax? They are using OUR resources and selling them. Non-renewable resources. Any retarded cunt like you can dig shit out of the ground, doesnt take much brains. Mining is the lowest industry in existence. Why do you think mining companies can rape our land and then piss off when the resources are gone and pay no tax?
geez retard fuck wit , do you and that fag bob brown always get your panties in knot every time....get the fucking issue ..it is not fucking population fuck wit , the issue border protection ..onl;y dumb cunt like you would confuse the two ...if it so right ? why the fuck the labor back track...put that inside your arse hole faggot...
really ? even Neanderthals would have more economic credentials than the greens ...greens are biggest farce in politics today ....only morons would ever think and vote for the greens
@sushan257 That would mean the Greens still have more economic credentials than Abbott. And I remember a few years ago the right wing retards thinking Alan Greenspan was an economic genius. How is the USA doing these days? USA, the most right wing and conservative Western country around and look at them now. Greens couldnt do any worse.
@EndorphineT78 no he's not a dumbass, he just has a view. Don't be so ignorant, everyone has their political compass and his is obviously far right wing. You are very far left and just the opposite of him the other way. Your both equally as bad.
Paul Keating WAS Emperor!.. I still can't believe a recession ousted somebody as entertaining and vital as Keating in favour of someone so sly, slimey, thick-headed and boyish as Howard. HOW DARE Howard state Keating "has nothing to say about the future" when Keating was a TOTAL visionary!
For a really intelligent debate that actually examines economic cause and effect, see Paul Keating's response to John Howard. It also enlightens on the hollowness of Howard's words in light of his own history of out-of touch, arrogant politics. Paul Keating was a visionary, only a hillbilly would see him as out of touch. Watch Keating's response to see him reveal the deceit of the Liberal Party.

Um where was the Keating reply to the bullshit that Howard crapped on about? He seemed to have forgot about the high interest rates when he was treasurer, lucky for him they were capped and not allowed to go to the 20% plus rates they would have been! Why do conservatives have such short memories?

Soundgarden8497 7 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 Ruining the country? you need to revise your history instead of making it up as you go. The economic reforms of the Hawke-Keating govt would be 90% of the reason Australia survived the recent global financial crisis.
imlay1992 7 months ago
@imlay1992 ahahaha you're a fruit loop. we survived because of the huge surplus that howard left for labor to WASTE and now we're in fucking debt. you're just a narrow minded left winger/activist with no real world experience. you're ALL THE SAME.
Soundgarden8497 7 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 you right wing idiots really do have short minds for backward thinking people.
The "huge surplus" was only there cause of the earlier hawke/keating reform, the mining boom, and a huge lack of investment in Australias future needs. Any idiot knows that you save when the times are good and spend savings when theyre going bad. the markets was collapsing and aus needed the govt to hold it up until it can start stand on its own feet again.
imlay1992 7 months ago 31
@imlay1992 bullshit, howard's government fixed labor's mess, just the same way tony abbott will have to fix up the complete shambles rudd and gillard are going to leave. anyone with an education understands that everytime labor get into power, bureaucracy expands and becomes completely inefficient, money gets wasted on failed schemes which have no decent amount of thought put into them, people are losing jobs in the private sector because of labor's stupidity.
Soundgarden8497 7 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 great line of rhetoric

@Soundgarden8497 Keving Rudd was not pathetic. he was quite a strong, competant leader. Julia Gillard isnt great but she is no where near as bad as idiots like you like to mention.

imlay1992 5 months ago
@imlay1992 *puts head in hands* - kevin rudd competent? yeah... so was hitler. kevin rudd's failed policy started the boats coming to Australia again, he wasted the massive surplus and now we have a killer debt we'll be repaying for decades. the $900 he gave to people was an utter waste, he could have built much needed infrastructure and DECENT projects around the country instead of giving people pocket money which was mostly spent on products made in china effectively boosting them not us...
Soundgarden8497 5 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 Cut the liberal rhetoric, if youre going to argue something, dont use rhetoric supplied by the side you have picked.
The boats didnt start "flooding in' when kevin rudd got in. wars started by the USA made it so the boats couldnt get here.
"Killer debt"?? Are you really as stupid as to blame Kevin Rudd, as an individual on govt debt!? Are you really that stupid as to have ignored the whole Global Financial Crisis?? as for infrastructure we were starved since howard got in
imlay1992 5 months ago
@imlay1992 im speaking from myself you muppet. the boats DID start with kevin rudd, because he changed all the asylum seeker policies of john howard THAT WORKED. you fucking moron, even a toddler knows this. kevin rudd isn't the only one to blame for our debt, it's also wayne swan who doesn't even have a degree managing the nation's money. Australia's economy was bulletproof and we had a huge surplus, labor's incompetence fucked everything. labor have made the GFC worse now by wasting.
Soundgarden8497 5 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 Youre a fact free zone, youre typing a load of typical meaningless liberal rhetoric.
As bad as the libs tell you the refugee debate is, it isnt all that bad in Aus as compared with just about most other countries in the world - we ARE naturally isolated. not because of howard
The only reason our economy was in such good shape for howard to claim for was because of the work of Keating, and the mining boom. And thats why the Aussie economy is among the strongest in the world
imlay1992 5 months ago
@imlay1992 you're a fuck up, plain and simple. keating was a failure, he holds the lowest approval rating of any PM in Australia for a starter. i believe you're a troll, so i'm not going to continue this with you.
Soundgarden8497 5 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 oh well isnt that the ideal easy way out of an argument you lost??
Keating was a long term leader for this country. People look back on his policies + economic reforms and are glad he did it. Rudd + Gillard are also long term leaders. (NBN, Carbontax, RSPT)
Howard + Abbott are short term 'leaders' - they lead for the next election and nothing else
imlay1992 5 months ago
@imlay1992 you're a troll, everything you say is bullshit. but yeah i guess rudd and gillard ARE "long term leaders" in the regard that they've fucked the country up long -term. the nbn is a major waste, wireless is the technology of the future because it's unrestricted. cables cant be transported. carbon tax = money to other countries. $180 billion debt doesn't concern you? when you collect the dole and contribute nothing to the country you shouldn't really be commenting on politics kid.
Soundgarden8497 5 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 Youre an idiot looking for the easy way out of a lost argument. Did you miss todays lateline with Turnbull being interviewed?? he admitted that the lib policy on CC was only short term to meet short term commitments, and that the ALP policy for tax/ETS was long term. This reflects the 2 parties sense of direction for the country.
You clearly know nothing about wireless technology - it is restricted by bandwidth & speed, and it costs considerably more (1/2)
imlay1992 5 months ago
@Soundgarden8497 and as for "fucked up the country" - you really cant be that thick!? Aus is the leading economy in the world. $180b debt reflects govts revenue loss from GFC
Carbon tax - half is given back to the working class in form of tax cuts + pension increases. other half is invested in green technology
as for me collecting "my dole" i work for my living. i doubt youve WORKED a day in your tidy office boy, bosses lap-dog life.
If you want to argue something get some facts together 1st
imlay1992 5 months ago

@TonusAMaximus So, if you are right, how do you explain that EVERY G7 economy had a stimulus package to get them out of the GFC? Saw's Law? Don't you mean Say's Law? Mate before you call anyone an idiot
(a) proof read your post;
(b) get an understanding of how economies actually work. Say's law is a theory just like any other. But in an economic downturn, when consumers do not have confidence, things DO NOT get bought, not matter how much supply there is.
vemsjutton 6 months ago 4
@vemsjutton I will take the typo on the chin. My bad.
Read Steven Kates from MIT, then we can have this discussion(I don't agree with Kates 100%). I am not saying you are wrong, but you are. I am certain you don't understand Say's law properly.
TonusAMaximus 5 months ago
@vemsjutton Stimulus spending is a joke. Why? Because as soon as you repay the debt with interest those stimulus jobs disappear. On treasury estimates 200,000 jobs were saved by racking up $100bn in debt which means each of those jobs saved cost the taxpayer $500,000. If stimulus spending grew the economy let's just give government all our money and we can have boom times in perpetuity.
PLooBzor 1 week ago
@PLooBzor Ever thought, that when those stimulus jobs "disappear", it is because the economy is recovering, and will pick them straight back up anyway?
The govt sacking cash away while the private sector collapses & regular working people are kicked out of their homes is grossly irresponsible. It is an economic fact that booms come to an end because in the long term they are unsustainable.
imlay1992 6 days ago

@imlay1992 OK, so where is the logic in spending billions of dollars on infrastructure like the NBN and other fruitless, unregulated and unNEEDED projects, when the country is in a global economy that is seeing other countries going bankrupt?
When my going is good, I save big time. But when the going is bad, I don't piss my savings into the wind.
They're blowing cash out of their arse to satisfy the voters that couldn't even get them a majority government.
mescalero78 3 months ago
@mescalero78 are you serious? lets sit on our hands for another 11 years while the world moves ahead with the times, do you realise that while keating was busy implementing the reforms that would make the country prosper we were in recession? in worst shape than we are now yet by the time howard took over it was showing signs of improvement. Do you not see what the gillard government is trying to do or are you another 1 of the uneducated morons that think the labor party is wasting money?
raff23 3 months ago
@raff23 The Gillard government is blowing excessive money on a soon to be obselete wired internet. We have fast enough internet in most of australia as it is. Why do we need to spend so much of the countries money to get faster porn? That money could have been spent on more practicle and important issues like public transport in Sydney where in many densely populated areas is almost non-existent. Perhaps a highspeed rail network connecting the east coast. Instead of this we get fast porn!
BeksBeer 3 months ago
@BeksBeer did you not understand what i wrote? what part of investing in the future do u not get?, we have fast enough internet now but what about in 10 years?, last time i checked alot of the world is already ahead of us in this regard so imo its about time. stop looking in the short term and focus on the bigger picture for crying out loud.
raff23 3 months ago
@raff23 In 10 years wireless internet technology will be faster than wired and and for a fraction of the cost. We will still be be paying back the NBN. The costs for the NBN are excessive and unjustified. Just because the rest of the western world has faster internet is not justification to put ourselves into debt for the next 15 years. No cost/benefit analysis has been performed Rudd or Gillard couldnt provide one. The most worrying thing is they dont know if the NBN will last 10 years.
BeksBeer 3 months ago
In terms of speed much of the UK runs on 20-30meg lines, which if you had done any investigating into the matter we in Australia have had this speed on cable for years. The fact of the matter is broadband is expensive and not slow because of the size of the country and cost in maintaing such a vast network.
What internet connection do you use raff23? is it ADSL2 or Cable?
BeksBeer 3 months ago
If you were one of the people that lost your house in that recession because for the second time in 20 years a labour prime minister caused a recession which lead to interest rates above 10%!
BeksBeer 3 months ago
@BeksBeer All of the recessions occurred globally, and you only lose your house if you borrow more than you can repay, and you havent got a properly stable job. (Or youve relied on the boom to continue, it went bust and everyone panicked)
If you knew anything about economics, youd know that interest rates drop during recessions to try to stimulate the economy.
AND lets not mention the good ol' Fraser days (With Howard as treasurer) with capped 21% interest rates, and hyperinflation.
imlay1992 3 months ago 3
@imlay1992 Ok that was a poor and uneducated response.
Firstly - Fraser and Howard inherited the interest rates of upto 22% thanks to the LABOUR Prime Minister Gough Whitlam. Remember he did get sacked for spending more than we could afford didnt he?
Secondly - You made another dumb comment about interest rates dropping during a recession. If you knew anthing about economics you would know that interest rates go up to slow economic activity and inflation such as that caused by Paul Keating.
BeksBeer 3 months ago
@BeksBeer RBA data says otherwise.
Did you say that i was infact WRONG when i said interest rates drop during recessions?
imlay1992 3 months ago
@BeksBeer ALSO Whitlam got 'sacked' via the filthiest game of politics played in the history of this country - even as admitted later on by Fraser
AND how is my comment regarding interest rates dropping during a recession a "dumb comment"? Its dead bloody accurate.
ALSO Keating left a rapidly growing economy - especially compared to the dead state we were stuck in during the Fraser years
imlay1992 3 months ago
@BeksBeer Both the Whitlam and Fraser governments were a joke. Any economist today recognise the great and gutsy reforms Hawke/Keating undertook throughout the 80s and early 90s. As a result we have had 21 years of continuos growth, no wages breakout, inflation under control and therefor lower interest rates. The float of the dollar is without a doubt the best single reform since WW2 by a mile. Every Australian should be thankful for that government. Thank Christ someone had the guts to do it.

toranacar 2 weeks ago
@toranacar Remember that a massive surplus only means that you are being over-taxed or under-serviced by the government. Neither are a good thing.
imlay1992 2 weeks ago
@imlay1992 well we are currently over taxed under serviced and have no surplus but massive debt.
Howard gov functioned within its means, a concept you apparently have not discovered
I laugh at all the rusted Labor wankers here as they don’t realize Labor and the Unions are working towards policies which will cost our jobs.
toranacar 2 weeks ago
@toranacar We're paying less tax now than we did under howard.
As said in a prior comment ( top comment), Howard rode off keating reform, mining boom, & deprived Australia of any form of future or sense of direction.
Unions need people in jobs to exist - therefore unions WANT full employment.
On the other hand, Libs want unemployment - as unemployment increases, supply of basic workers increases, which drives down wages, which increases business profits, (which in the end fails quickly)

Duggymoto 4 days ago
You Labor dead heads always miss the whole picture, you plucked a few things there which MIGHT be true, MIGHT as Gillard has got to be the most dishonest PM ever Labor or Liberal. So they pretend to make a saving for us which will be well out striped by the carbon dioxide tax. Electricity alone will increase from $200 - $400 a year. Now think about everything which is reliant on electricity and you MAY get an idea, I won’t hold my breath.
toranacar 4 days ago
@Duggymoto Something simple you could do, since carbon dioxide will have a price of $23 a tonne which will go up every year, (Swans words) look at your electricity bill and check how much Co2 you emitted and multiply your Co2 by $23. Greens want a Co2 price of $130 a tonne (Sarah Hanson Young’s words). Then multiply by 4 quarters.
toranacar 4 days ago
@toranacar Ever thought that the Co2 tax could go DOWN every year? the ETS price will follow the markets, ie peoples affordibility & Co2 output.
The greens price is 100% hypothetical, and without any valid meaning in any debate.
NOT to mention that the tax only hits the top 500 polluters - so it doesnt hit everything that you buy. AND that electricity prices will rise substantially, regardless of tax
imlay1992 4 days ago
@imlay1992 Oh dear I just realised I’m talking to a numb nut. Good luck mate

imlay1992 4 days ago
@imlay1992 You know what, I thought I heard $18000 on the radio while I was working, and they didn't repeat the number. Sounded to good to be true so I assumed they had said 8k. Anyway thanks, that's does improve the point considerably - the saving from Labor would be $3600.

@111cunt Just to clear one thing, im not strictly "left wing".

@imlay1992 yea, right, keep splurging out your bullshit

@111cunt We vote for local members, they elect a leader - That is democracy. thats how it always has been, thats how it always will be.

imlay1992 1 week ago
@imlay1992 yeah but usually the leader is chosen before the election not after.
toranacar 1 week ago
@toranacar "Usually" DOES NOT imply that there is anything wrong with changing leaders after an election.
And what do you define as "before" or "after an election? one day before? 3 years after? The ideology of a party changing leader within any particular non-tangible time frame is somehow wrong, is itself ambiguous.
imlay1992 1 week ago
@imlay1992 It is usually before an election the leader is chosen by a party, it’s what most people expect when they vote for a member, unless of course we are talking about Labor, they chop and change leaders at a drop of a hat, its legal but I don’t think it is the right thing to do, and this is partly the problem Gillard has. People voted for a Labor member expecting to get Rudd as PM.
toranacar 1 week ago
@toranacar People voted for their local members - many of them ALP members, who in turn voted for Kevin Rudd as leader.
Kevin Rudd was elected as PM on the 24/11/2007, and sworn in on 3/12/2007. He was replaced as PM on the 24/6/2010 That is over 2 and a half years later - ie nearly a full term of Government.
Can you please explain how having the popularly elected PM in power for 2.5 out of 3 years is the equivalent of "Chopping and changing leaders at the drop of a hat"??
imlay1992 6 days ago
@imlay1992 No we vote for both idiot, the different candidates in different seats represent their leader; i find it laughable that you are actually trying to defend the alp you are delusional mate
111cunt 4 days ago
@111cunt Have you ever received a ballot paper that says "name of local member" and then "name of preferred PM"?
didnt think so... (unless you live in their electorate - but it is still only voting for the local member)
I am not just defending the ALP, I am defending our electoral system - which i would even do if it were the LNP in this "situation"
imlay1992 4 days ago
@imlay1992 that doesnt eliviate the fact that we vote for both and you know we do, and the fact that your attacking the liberal national party at this point in time of politics is trivial given the current state of the other side of politics (ALP) so good argument
111cunt 3 days ago
Politics aren't the same anymore.

Labor will spend anything to achieve it's goals, spend anything to make it's promises come true, even when any tradesperson will tell you that a job can be done for substancially cheaper than what the witless government decides is the best price.

Keating pwned. Howard owned him. What a joker, got voted out the next year he is a failure and remembered as such.
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage failure? wow you have no idea about what he actually did. If it wasnt for keating where would your rights at work be? if it wasnt for keating we wouldnt have super available to us, if it wasnt for keating we wouldnt have any bearing on world politics and australia would be a blip on the radar. If it wasnt for keating making the tough calls on the economy we wouldn have little johnny howard taking the credit for it. Learn the facts buddy, without keating we would be fuked as a nation.
raff23 1 year ago 2
@raff23 terrible prime minister and was owned by Howard shortly after this video of the failure in action. everyone agree he was one of the worst ever, although Rudd was probably worse.
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage u have no idea champ, go learn your facts before making silly statements.
raff23 1 year ago
@desalage if howard had his way completly we would end up like america. a country with poor healthcare, education and a small minority earning everything. there would also be no rights for workers and minimum wage would drop. your simply another multi-nationalist dumbass. let me huess u also think the mining tax was bad too...
EndorphineT78 1 year ago
@EndorphineT78 what rubbish. Howard is remembered as a champion and one of the best ever. Keating is remembered as a failure. As is Hawke. Is it any coincidence that every Labor mug ends up screwing everything up and you need a Lib to come in and fix it. Happens everytime Kevin 07 why does everyone call him a lemon?
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage It was Hawke and Keating that cleaned up the mess Howard left behind in 1983. Stagflation, 22% interest rates, low productivity. The country was a complete mess. But since you're an idiot Liberal voter you wouldnt know this since you only think what Alan Jones and Rupert Murdoch tell you to think.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 Oh Rupert Murdoch does the papers right? Yeah I don't read that shit its full of crap like the rubbish you just spouted lol. You Labor welfare guys are part of a structured system of mind control. its funny you think a Liberal is ever told what to think, thats a laugh. We tell you what to think
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage Sure you dont. Its obvious you read News Ltd papers while listening to talkback radio by the ignorant rubbish you sprout. And everything I said about Howard being a complete failure as Treasurer is true. But you might actually might have to know something about politics. Hell, you're one of those Lib retards that thinks the Fed Gov's 6% of GDP debt is massive.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 And you're the retard for counting 6% GDP as the only debt incurred under Labor. You think blowing away all your assets is not part of a debt, just because its not in the negative, wow. You fit the bill real well. And please i've got no time to listen to talkback radio if I couldn't sleep then i might tune in and papers are full of propaganda and tabloid trash for the masses.
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage GDP is over a trillion dollars. Federal government is around 60 billion. You do the math. I would explain Keynesian economics to you but bogans cant understand that. You're obviously a fanatical Liberal voter devoid of rational thinking. And no, I'm not an ALP voter but an ALP preference voter. I vote Green. But just like Abbott and Robb and Hockey can't do there sums when it comes to costings neither can you. Now troddle off to Bolt or Akerman for you next ignorant ranting.
bongo155 1 year ago
@desalage I can tell you lap up the shit from talk back radio and stuff from News Ltd papers like Bolt and Akerman because you say the exact same rubbish. Hell, you probably even believe every word from Tony "I dont tell the truth unless its written down in front of me" Abbott.Your understanding of economics is so poor its obvious you're a dumb brainwashed kid. You're probably one of those retards that thinks very low interest rates is always good.Ever looked at what happened to the USA?
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 hahaha you vote Green and want to talk Economics? Why? Go back to school LOL i've got no time for clueless Greens voters, dumbest people in Australia
desalage 1 year ago
@desalage Intelligently written ad hominen there, kid. Greens would have more economic credentials than Mr. Abbott. Who, in the words of his own party is an economic lightweight. Oh, and suck shit on losing the election. Even with the lies and propaganda from Abbott and his right wing media pals you still couldnt steal the election. Thank fuck Oakeshott and Windsor are smarter than the average bogan (liberal) voter.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 lol they showed how much brains they had in the conference when they said the Coalition would clearly win if we went back to the polls today. Yeah these guys are smart as lol
desalage 1 year ago

And every economist and organisation like the OECD has praised Labor's handling of the GFC.But you're complaining about the federal government's debt of 6% of GDP.OH NOES SIX PERCENT!!!!!!!!!
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155
only typical labour/green retard would say that man who has a economics degree has no economics sense , i may be have been reading fox and listing to talk back radio ...but at least i read and listen , if you have been reading news papper or listening to any thing you would know that stupid gillard has not even released thier so called business plan to the out side world
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 Firstly, retard its LABOR not Labour. When you say labour you're just proving my point you're an ignorant moron. Listening toshit like FOX and talk back radio just makes you stupid. Even worse than people who pay no attention to politics. And studies have shown that Green voters have the highest level of tertiary educated voters. But you are a stupid, uneducated bogan who should learn your place is cleaning toilets of your betters.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 labor , labour who gives fuck about that retarded fuck wit , shit is shit which ever way spell it , it still stinks the same moron
if you also listen to fox or talk back , you would at least know whats going around you ...so put your womens day magazine faggot ...reading about the smell of julia farts is not politics ,
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 Labour or Labor demonstrates you do not pay attention to what you're talking about. Its not a typo, if you wrote Labro thats a typo. But spelling Labor Labour shows you are ignorant.

@sushan257 Now you're just using personal attacks because you can't debate the issue. Hmmm, wonder who else does that. Oh, wait, thats Tony Abbott! Lib voters always resort to name calling and racist slogans because they have no ideas or policies of their own.

sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 I find it amusing you say Western suburbs shithole. Liberal voters these days largely western suburb bogan scum like yourself. Abbot appeals to the lowest common denominator, ie maggots like you. Just like people who read News Ltd papers and listen to talk back radio have lower incomes than Green voters because you're all uneducated and unskilled bogan, redneck trash.

@bongo155
they did all that spending out of the surplus howard/costello letf them , now we are in debt , and in order to cover that these retards try kill off the mining industry , the industry who pulled us out of the GFC .....that takes economic genius to do ....any way how is that asylum seeker policy working out for you ....another 106 people today
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 Learn how a budget works. Revenue is raised and then expenses deducted over the course of a year. The mining industry didn't keep us out of the GFC. They laid off thousands of workers and had revenue sharply slide. Mining only rebounded when the Chinese government implemented their own stimulus plan when they saw the USA going into a deep recession. Chinese stimulus saved the Australian mining industry. And that my friend, is what I call fucking owned.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155 geez , did you just work that now ....well , retard budget is not business plan nor a co0st benift analysis...geez , so what you saying is things like pinks bats? building the educational revolution saved the Australian economy ? you more of fucking retard than i thought ...have heard of Exports , Export income ? retard ..or are you saying it is Chinese who saved the Australian economy not the labor...stick that up your fagot arse
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 Export income is only one aspect of the ecnomoy. Domestic consumption is also important. The retail sector employsmany many many more people than mining. Same with services. The insulation scheme was fine and has been proven so by reports. The BER had less than 3% complaints. Your problem is you listen to proven liars and idiots like Hadley and Jones on these issues and the biggest criminal of all, Rupert Murdoch.
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155
geez , nice set of words , did not know women's day wrote stuff like that.... one word though , rudd money did jack shit to improve domestic consumption though ... pink bats were fine , on earth back way from independent inquiry ......? any idoit can write reports ..just as how treasury verified labour costings ...but the real story is high interest rates crippling the SME ...'s
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 Yeah, yeah. Auditor-General, ANAO, Treasury are all "left-wing" propaganda machines. ABC, who 'Honest' John stacked with Liberal cronies is left wing. Blah blah blah. The Rudd stimulus did work. We avoided the recession. Even the OECD said so. Add I'll repeat, the Australian mining sector was saved by China's OWN STIMULUS.
bongo155 1 year ago
@sushan25 OH NOES 106 PEOPLE WHATEVER SHALL WE DO????? Our population increased 0.00000004% today. HOW WILL WE COPE?!!!! And why shouldnt the mining industry pay more tax? They are using OUR resources and selling them. Non-renewable resources. Any retarded cunt like you can dig shit out of the ground, doesnt take much brains. Mining is the lowest industry in existence. Why do you think mining companies can rape our land and then piss off when the resources are gone and pay no tax?
bongo155 1 year ago
@bongo155
geez retard fuck wit , do you and that fag bob brown always get your panties in knot every time....get the fucking issue ..it is not fucking population fuck wit , the issue border protection ..onl;y dumb cunt like you would confuse the two ...if it so right ? why the fuck the labor back track...put that inside your arse hole faggot...
sushan257 1 year ago
@bongo155
really ? even Neanderthals would have more economic credentials than the greens ...greens are biggest farce in politics today ....only morons would ever think and vote for the greens
sushan257 1 year ago
@sushan257 That would mean the Greens still have more economic credentials than Abbott. And I remember a few years ago the right wing retards thinking Alan Greenspan was an economic genius. How is the USA doing these days? USA, the most right wing and conservative Western country around and look at them now. Greens couldnt do any worse.
