i have a 2011 range rover stock and a 2009 jeep wrangler unlimited, lifted with off road tires and have taken them both off road and the range rover is ten times better than the jeep by far the new range rovers are great cars and amazing off road
when i get old enough im going to get a 1986 cj7 jeep with a lift kit 4 cylinder engine and some big old mud tires to top it all of (I know your saying 4cylinder thats weak my moms old rabbit could go faster than that and yeah it could but the jeep will be so fun going off roading in)
Im buying a 74 jeep cj5 v8 6 inch suspension lift and 35 inch swampers cant wait till i get ahold of it, shes going to need some body work though got to replace alot of pieces with diamond plate last owner beat her up pretty bad :D
i dont know about that... a jeep's a jeep. I have an XJ and most wouldn't consider that a "real jeep"... but I drive my XJ more like a jeep should be driven than most Wrangler drivers I've met... that being said, I really don't like the four door Wranglers...
i'm a new jeep owner... bought a TJ back in feb and i'm so glad i did... it's a great for just cruising around... and it's a rugged, capable vehicle off-road... what else do you need? and to think... i almost bought a honda civic...wouldn't trade my jeep for anything
I am the happy owner of a 2007 Jeep Unlimited and is great . There is nothing on this earth like it. I have drive in many types of terrain due to my job ( US ARMY). and I love my JEEP I plan to buy a 2010. GO JEEP......
man i absolutely love my yj it is the best jeep i have ever had, and man is it awesome in just about any terrain with its 35'' bf goodrich mud kings. OIIIIO
hey why dont you stop watchin jeep videos if you dont like them!!! sounds like you relized how much of a mistake you made buying a crappy jap made toy...they are shit and cant compare to any jeep retard!!!
Jeep are the best 4wheel drive, but they are not the only powerful 4*4 cars. JAP cars are very powerful too. BTW, A JAP car, such as the Land cruiser is more reliable in a desert with a temp of 50 c, where i come from (Saudi Arabia) JAP cars are the best in the desert and they are more popular. Jeeps can't stand the heat. ;-)
Wow, I can't believe some of you won't dirty your '09s! lol I have an '07 and truuust me, it's seen it's share of mud and water. And yes, that's what the drain plugs are for . . . draining your car.
absolutely love my jeep. it was my dads first suv.. 1989 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4... he just bought a 2008 Laredo Cherokee, and loves it too! and my mom owns an 07 jeep wrangler unlimited... Ive gotta tell you, that car is awesome! i would recommend it to anyone who loves to go camping and have a great time!
I miss my Jeep...it was like a faithful dog. No matter what I put it through, it always wanted more and even if something broke it always managed to get me home.
@94XJ i got a 92 jeep xj it has been sunk in water, pulled heavier loads than it can handle,i put that thing through mud and water last yr every wk and had to use it for a recovery vehicle to pull out fords, chevys, and toyotas ha. it has over 300k miles btw on the drivetrain. that thing is the toughest vehicle ive ever driven. everyone at my school lastyr 1st hand saw how it offrds and says its the toughest 4wd they seen. sadly though im retiring it soon for a jeep wrangler :(
Theyre well balanced, really good ascent angles, and theyre made specifically for this kind of thing. They dont get much speed but every bit of power is used, and designed for off-road.

Yeah I know. I can't see my '07 JK in the mud yet either. I tell folks "I'll let her play in the mud when she gets older."
If I still had my other two '90 YJs though...... one I totaled, and couldn't afford to keep the other. Miss 'em like hell!!

its called torque!
Xephilios 2 years ago 2
Yeah, because you need a lot of horsepower to crawl the trails.
carveriscool 2 years ago
When climbing, HP is not what that pulls you up, its torque. HP is more of speed and torque is power.
