@promaterial Thanks...not sure where the ATV trails run, but they must pass close by, as a road runs very close, and parallels the S.E. side of the river, between the dam and Hwy K. These rapids are located about 1/4 to 1/2 mile upstream from the Hwy K bridge, and immediately below the Hatfield dam. They only run during spring snowmelt, periods of heavy rain, or scheduled dam releases. Friends Of The Black River is a local paddle club that can help you get the schedule for the dam releases.
