Ummmm. I went to this video because I thought it would debunk James van Praagh (who I believe is phoney), but it only showed a few people from an audience of 100+ who didnt clap. Just because you don't clap to something at a particular moment does'nt mean you don't agree with it. There are plenty of times I hear something I agree to but for whatever reason decide not to clap. It would have been better to see Praagh's phoney guesses than see what a few people in the audience.

you also have to remember that this is television (the industry that i'm actually in) and we dont always use responses from the times the questions are asked, it's no live, it's edited. a lot of times i'll hear in my ear from my director "make sure you get someone smiling for post production" or "make sure you get a kid laughing at some point so we can insert there" so on and so forth...

But what if that medium told them things that no one else would know at all about that someone? How can that person NOT believe anything? Can you cite a peer reviewed journal that confirms kirlian photography etc. Some people are naive and believe bunk. Michael admits that there are things we don't know but doesn't make claims that aren't supporters. Preachers do just the opposite.
I admit that I cannot find a scientific journal about Kirlian Photography at all. I did find it interesting, however, and I thank you for sharing that with me. Still, experience overthrows naivety. I will continue researching my own things as what I do, is prove to myself and others what is real and what is not. Once again, I say that I am not like others when involved in these things - I actually accept criticism! lol Kirlian photography is just one subject. There are many more to look into.

This is New Age brainwashing. New Agers believe in Karma, and reincarnation. On page 252 of TALKING TO HEAVEN, Mr. Praagh teaches about the body's seven chakras, or seven main energy centers. This is the exact teaching of Kundalini yoga, which is demonic. Each "chakra" is supposedly a pathway to one of the presiding deities ( i.e. demons) over one of the planets in our solar system. This is demonic New Age doctrine.

I can honnestly say that everything happends for a reason and there is something greater than science, proof, and even God. I respect your opinions. I think that churches only limit a persons mind set when it comes to seeing what's really out there. Explain this scenario which I'm rephrasing but I can testify did happen. : A 5 yr old boy James is killed, his best friend Jay is continuously found playing outside his house claiming he's playing with James who he doesn't know is dead. The catch here is that he asks his mother to get him a napkin to wipe the 'red stains that was over James's clothes.

Ummmm. I went to this video because I thought it would debunk James van Praagh (who I believe is phoney), but it only showed a few people from an audience of 100+ who didnt clap. Just because you don't clap to something at a particular moment does'nt mean you don't agree with it. There are plenty of times I hear something I agree to but for whatever reason decide not to clap. It would have been better to see Praagh's phoney guesses than see what a few people in the audience.

you also have to remember that this is television (the industry that i'm actually in) and we dont always use responses from the times the questions are asked, it's no live, it's edited. a lot of times i'll hear in my ear from my director "make sure you get someone smiling for post production" or "make sure you get a kid laughing at some point so we can insert there" so on and so forth...

Oh gawd, you cannot base your suspicions on those people. The majority of them are extras (aka, they get paid to be on the show and act like real audience members). Most of them don't even pay attention to whats going on! lol Not to mention that video editing can make it look like the audience clapped/cheered when something was said. For instance, someone instructs, "Okay, now clap and cheer!" WHOOO!! done. Then they edit it. Stop taking the media seriously, especially on shows like this.

Extras? Says who? You don't think extras are the ones going to this nonsense and get paid. The people go willingly. I don't take it serious but it's good to know people don't just willingly clap for charlatans.

I worked as an extra many times in gameshows, movies, and shows like this :p I know how these things work. I live in Hollywood! lol Extras pick which shows they want to be in. It's totally their choice. Keep your suspicions, but please do not base it on hollywood. It's too unstable. Hmmm...but I do wonder why you make it such a mission spending so much time and energy into trying to prove that something is wrong? I wuv you :p

But what if that medium told them things that no one else would know at all about that someone? How can that person NOT believe anything? Of course, they're gonna feel it's weird and think "no way! this can't possibly happen!", but how else would the medium know? Believing in something after experience does not make a person naive. Have you ever seen a black hole? No, but you saw pictures from a book and heard people talk about it. Would it be naive of you to believe in a black hole?

There's a basis of spiritualism involving all this, too. It's called Kirlian Photography, Theta DNA Healing, Energy Frequencies, and Frequency Vibration and such. The science is there. It's always there. People are just so stubborn that they don't even want to look at it. Scientists have been trying to disprove these things for years, but...well, they just can't do it! :p Just as people put faith in their preachers, you're putting in faith into Michael. Not much of a difference, eh? :p

Can you cite a peer reviewed journal that confirms kirlian photography etc. Some people are naive and believe bunk. Michael admits that there are things we don't know but doesn't make claims that aren't supporters. Preachers do just the opposite.

I admit that I cannot find a scientific journal about Kirlian Photography at all. I did find it interesting, however, and I thank you for sharing that with me. Still, experience overthrows naivety. I will continue researching my own things as what I do, is prove to myself and others what is real and what is not. Once again, I say that I am not like others when involved in these things - I actually accept criticism! lol Kirlian photography is just one subject. There are many more to look into.

I found this video accidentally while looking at a related topic. I happened to be watching Dr. Phil when this subject was presented. I wrote a comment of disapproval on his message board but it wasn't published.
I think he used his influence in a very irresponsible way by having this charlatan on his show.

BTW, understanding and believing in the spirit world has nothing to do woth believing in god. As a matter of fact there is no god as described in the holy books, but there is endless evidence of spirits and the existance of the soul. first you need to learn to distinguish the two and not mix these things with religion. these are scientific facts.

There's a book called 'DMT - The Spirit Molecule' by Dr Rick Strassman. It's a very interesting read. Dimethyltriptamine is an endogenous chemical and there's speculation that it plays a role in certain psychological/neurological states such as dreaming. The Strassman research theorises that DMT is produced by the pineal gland and is released in a massive burst prior to death or near death could be the cause of the near death experience phenomenon; Only speculation, but it's very interesting.

Do a little research and you'll quickly findout the reality of things. Indeed there is no such a thing as ghosts that haunt people. there is "spirits" and there is no malevolent ones. And the real reality is at the other place not here.
