Elmafudd, you really do need to educate yourself if you are going to comment!! It doesn't matter what scent you lay down, it could be perfume for all it matters. If a fox crosses that laid down scent it is almost impossible to get them off it, it is simply an accident!!! I followed this hunt for years before moving to Canada, they won't be breaking the law, I can assure you of that!!

There are many things to drag hunting and these idiots don't do them. First off all they are using fox hounds. Second off all they 'drag' through fox coverts.
I have friends who go true drag hunting. If hunts are truely drag hunting why do they use scents close to a fox scent? Drag the scent through fox coverts? And have terrier men present with terriers then? They hunt foxes until someone shows up with a camera. The police need to be educated in what to look out for. And ENFORCE THE BAN not hide away as they are doing now.

Hounds will pick up the scent of a fox when hunting a trail, but as the video clearly shows, the hounds were encouraged back into the field to pick up the trail scent. Isn't it about time that the press stopped stirring things up? As long as Hounds are stopped if they pick up the scent of a fox, they are hunting within the law.

Take one fox. Skin it and gut it.
Hang the fox in running water for three days.
Cook with garlic, onion and tomato, as if you were cooking rabbit the Italian way: lay in a dish, cover, and stew for about an hour and a half.
I would probably cut the fox into halves, not quarters.
Serve with chestnut pasta, and for wine: a good Falerian.
It's not generally known that the Thais eat a lot of fox. It's the closest thing that Chinese, Thais and Malays can legally get to dog.
