poeple you won't get beef and pork in all indian restaurants even in 5 star hotels too. you can eat beef i guess only in goa. its allowed in state of goa as its majority christian so you get everything there. but you can have lamb, chicken, and all kinds of fish and seafood. we indian just respect each others religious sentiments. thats how billion poeple of different religion and culture live together.
@anurek123 this is so ridiculous. Indians are such hipocrites. They work the cows to almost death and when the can no longer work at they fields they sell them to the abatoirs where they are slaughtered and meat exported esp to Malaysia! And yes the leather is exported to BMW.
well indians do eat beef but because cow is a sacred animal in india slaughtering of cows are not legal,so most of the time you eat beef in india it is not the cow meat but it will be bull's.
