You are too funny -- but you are really motivating me, a 47 year old woman, to get P90 and do it. I know i'm not ready for P90X, but I will be ... thanks for doing this! Your'e a good guy and also you are doing a wonderful ting for your health and to motivate others ...this is the ANSWER to the healthcare crisis!
I need help man. What days and when do I do the workouts? LIke is it a different workout on each day? Like sweat, and sculpt and all that stuff. Can you help me.
@ 2:30 LOL!!! I know what you are going through there!!! Hey, don't let that knee go beyond the foot when doing the lunges, ok for squats but not lunges. I am using free weights for mine.
You are so inspiring!! I am recovering from two surgeries, and should have the ok to start resuming my normal activities, and I plan on making Power90 one of them- I can't wait! Thanks for showing the exercises, that is a huge help, and your sense of humor is priceless! Congrats to you, and thanks again!
Thanks for the reply on the bands. Now another question for you. I'm planning on starting this workout to get some weight off. I however do not have enough ceiling height to do the shoulder presses standing up as shown in the video. You think they will be just as effective if I sit down on a bench/chair or perhaps squat down more.
Because i've been procrastinating as to whether or not i'm gonna do P90 or not.=/ And it's like whenever i start, I'm not consistant!! It sucks! But, seeing you do it makes me want to get back to the program & Stick to it this time!!
@iMagnificent Procrastination is our worst enemy. Believe me, I know all about it. It's my worst enemy too. :) The hardest part is actually starting back again. Once you do it and stay consistent, you WANT to work out.
This just motivated me soooo much! I just start Power 90 on Monday. Im 4 days in and it's great to see another real person do it and not breeze through it. I could tell that some moves were hard for you but you were sticking to them and getting it done! Thanks and congrats!
Where did you get those power bands? They don't look like the ones that are on the beachbody website. I'd like to find something similar to the ones in the video
@bigbriggs77 The ones on the Beachbody website are much better than what I've been able to find at Golds Gym or at Target, etc. I still have my original bands that came with Power 90 from over a year ago. The Golds Gym bands I bought all snapped after a few months use.
Thanks I needed the workout. Did p 90 couple years ago and going back for round 2 and the only tape I can find is sweat 3-4 but after watching you it all came back . I do have one question if you could do the same thing for sculpt 3-4 for when I need it. even talk me through the excercises I will be easy to update did them for months. I know it is 20 reps but there is the extra round and if im not mistaken the first three rounds have some changes but i might be wrong. Thanks
Hey man, great job with your workout. I just noticed your video because I've been looking into p90x for a while now but just now heard of the p90 program. I'm not in the best shape and I'm afraid that I won't be able to do all of the workouts well on the p90x. I always hear that if the form isn't good then the effectiveness isn't as good. I was just thinkin what your thoughts were and thanks for the updates. It helps me in making my decision. Keep up the hard work!
Thanks. I'm still working on my form because it's something you have to continually be aware of. I would do Power 90 if you're trying to lose a lot of weight first, then move on to P90x. How much are you trying to lose and what is your final goal?
Hey man. Today was my first day on Sculpt 1-2. My chest is crazy sore, but I don't feel like it did alot for my legs and lower back (not that it isn't a great program, it's just gonna take some time). Do you remember what day this was? I can see in the video you're already alot stronger than I am starting out.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know your videos are a great inspiration. I'm really looking forward to sticking to this program 100%, and hope to have great results.
That video was recorded on Day 28. The lunges and calf raises helped my legs a lot. This program really targets your body as a whole and is aimed primarily towards weight loss. As you progress into the 3-4 workouts, you'll really start to see more results. There is also a Power 90 Master Series which has the 5-6 level as well.
Thanks for your comment. Definitely stick with the program, you won't regret it.
Sorry it took so long, I thought I had responded to this already. I never did the Fat Burning Express video, but I think you were supposed to do it for 7 days before starting the program. It's not a requirement, but they included it with the fat burner 7 day plan to help jump start your metabolism and weight loss.
Yes, the DVD shows you how to do all types of modified moves. There is also a woman in the videos who does the modified version as well. The material you get with the DVD also shows yo us how.
Nice job! Is this a whole workout in P90? Actually, I don't have the DVDs. But many exercises look similar as in P90X. Man, if I could work out in this speed I could do five workouts in just one hour a day! ;) Keep bringing it!
Thanks! That was just the Sculpt 1-2 workout. The Sweat/Cardio 1-2 has Power Yoga, in place running/jumping (high interval training), leg kicks and combo punches, then Ab exercises (100). After you've mastered that, new exercises are introduced on the second DVD (Sculpt 3-4, Cardio 3-4, and Ab Ripper 200) which increase the intensity and adds more reps the initial exercises, gives you additional exercises, plus encourages you to "go until failure" on certain routines like pushups, dips, etc.
lmao...I've got one for the Sweat 1-2 as well witht he power yoga at the beginning..lol..will probably put that one together in the next day or two...:)
Awesome video! It's hilarious watching it in high speed... but can tell just by the look on your face how hard you're working. Love the music too... I assume that's some of your work as well? Great job KG!!
Thanks. I was going to use my own music, but didn't have the track I wanted to use initially with me. So I opted for the "Let it Rock" instrumental instead. :)
Hey where do you get that blue thing at i really want to lose weight this summer thanks

@Pher1502 You mean the resistance band? You can get them at any sports store, Wal-Mart, Target, or from my website.

very inspiring. think I'll give P90 another chance minus the sweat dvds. not my fav, but i'll replace it with running.
